Would be nice to know the store hours, even if it's just posting on the door. The website could use a refresh to make it user friendly.

They are always so helpful here!! I always find what I need and never have to ask for help they see me right away and greet me! Love that! I hate being ignored as a customer anywhere! Great teamwork there, everyone is always in a good mood! Happy staff!! Happy customers!!

Friendly service and not bust like other hardware stores

I like the country feel of a smaller store with staff that are close by and ready to help you. I think the bigger stores offer more product, but suffer in the customer service.

Not impressed at all with the driver of the yellow pickup truck heading east on hunt club today. He should probably try to follow the rules of the road when he s driving a giant billboard. Put your cell phone away please.

Store is far to small and I have to end up going to home depot anyways

Great staff and good prices. I got vinyl tiles for flooring 30% cheaper than Home Depot. The staff (Lyndon in particular) helped me greatly in selecting the right product and accommodated all my needs and requests

This is no longer a Rona and is now a Home Hardware.
The store is very small, set expectations accordingly..

The individual who delivered my order was considerate of my driveway, and front lawn, and placed my order in a convenient location.

The staff are absolutely wonderful and will make sure that you have what you need.

Service is poor. Asked for a quote 2 different people. Once in store and second over the phone. S t i l l waiting for my quote! Not good.

Its store layout can be a bit confusing. But, they have a lot more that some of the other small home hardwares. The best part is the lumber yard. Quality seems to be better than the bigger box stores. Just make sure you're there to pick it out. Some of the pre-picked stuff can get a little ugly.

Have pretty much everything one might need for hardware and building supplies, and knowledgeable staff on hand at all times.

During the Covid 19 pandemic with everything closed the staff at HH Stittsville have been fantastic. Turnaround time for call in order was very fast. Excellent customer service.

Place was a mess could not find anything and it looked like the cashier did not know how to work cash properly . Staff were not friendly very poor customer engagement

Small and convenient for everyday items, but the selection is limited, due to the fact that Lowe's is down the street and its bigger.

I run in here often to grab items for my hubby - the guys at the counter are always helpful, happy and easy to deal with. The cashiers upfront, well they need to take a lesson from the guys at the back desk, they seem pained to be there.

This is place is your best bet for lumber, decking material, drywall and other building materials. Staff is knowledgable and helpful. Thanks again for all your help.

Fantastic customer service and friendly staff! I do a lot of renovations and I always find that they have great prices and delivery is much quicker than some of the bigger box stores. Home Depot and Lowes were quoting me weeks for delivery and Home Hardware was able to get me what I needed delivered in 2 days.

Guys in the yard are great. Customer service guys are grumpy bordering on rude. Not good customer service at all.

Staff were helpful and knowledgeable in getting the prices for a specific product and ordering the items.

This location has just changed. Ownership and is now a Home Hardware. This took ace at the beginnig of May. It was both a dissapointment and a pleasant surprise.
Currently stock is a blend of Rona stock and Home Hardware stock.

They've recently changed from a Rona to a Hme Hardware and are stillin the process of changing over, so the place was a bit messy. I'm sure they will sort it ou soon and it should be as good aas any Home Hardware around. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and they have a great selection of DIY stuff.

Friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have special products that other larger stores don't have.

This is a great hardware store, I'm amazed at how much is here and for a great price too. My new favourite hardware store.

Found PT wood and posts when most in the city are sold out. Also got a great deal on composite fence boards. Service was very good and easy to deal with.

This Rona at Hazeldean and Springbrook is now a Home Hardware

I've always tried to give my business to local ownership, but after been here 3x the past few months I will not be coming back. I've been frustrated each time because of sale items not in stock, plastic tubing not available cut to size and I needed 2 keys to be cut, but not available. Sadly, had to drive down the street to a bigger box store to get items filled. Nice staff, but limited stocked items.

Decent store but very limited selection. I do my best to shop at the local stores. It is hit and miss with this store. Most of the time I try there first but end up driving to the big box down the road because they don't have what I am looking for.....

I had the most excellent customer service experience when I visited this location from Adam. He was real friendly and made sure I found everything I was looking for.

This place suprized me on how great the staff and suppies were. Quick delivery and even the delivery crew was amazing. Well worth going to over other building supply companies. A little easier on the wallet too.

This place has been neglected for years. Poor product selection ( they rarely have what I am looking for ) and the employees seem less informed then their customers about the few products they do have. Further, I have never found an employee to help me when I've tried to shop there. This is the closest hardware store to my home and so I've tried to shop there several times. Don't go here, I'm pretty sure that the owners never do. I'm sure that the employees don't want to either. This is a miserable and run-down store. It's worth the short trip to go to other hardware stores.

Unfortunately this place was a total let down. I bought a clip for a deck railing sized2x6 and the seemingly helpful attendant offered to order 6 more for that I needed for my project because they were already in the warehouse and would be in by Monday .. what a joke 1 month later and 3 promises they d be in next week they finally come in!! Wooo.... only to find out they ordered the 2x4 size somehow and don t even stock the 2x6 anymore. Like I said total let down and wasted a month waiting to wrap my deck up only to be back at step one because of Home Hardwares empty promises. Sorry guys you were nice but really messed me up

This store is terrible. Victoria Day flyer says it has Black Earth for 87 cents for 3 days, but it cheated me twice. I went there twice and it was sold out. One more cheat: 99 cent flower never showed up, because there was no room the salesman said.

I went in for some drip edge for Roofing, they had it in stock and good price.

The staff are very helpful, and even if they don't know the answer they'll make sure they find out. The store isn't so big that it's daunting but it will have most of what you need for any DIY home job. The aisles are well marked but even if you're not finding something, someone will just be there to help you find it. Love the service and the local feeling of the store.

Stay away. Lots of other options not too far away. We walked around looking for faucets for about 15 minutes. Twice I walked past three staff chatting, they glanced at us and then went back to their conversation. Two other staff just walked by us. When we found the section we were looking for, there was a staff member stocking shelves. He was blocking the aisle so as we approached I said "excuse us". He moved but didn't say a word back. The only person to speak to us was one guy that told me to make sure my kids didn't step on the section of floor that was just refinished. I guess he though the yellow caution tape around the area wasn't self evident. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

The service team here is great. They help me with all things, whether a dollar or a massive order. Never anything but pleasant service.

Home hardware, not Rona. Does not have the same inventory. Drove here for nothing.

The staff was quick to help my wife and I find what we were looking for. I did like the COVID protocols that were in place as well.

Small and old location at Stittsville which was Rona before. Small area, limited assortment of products which is not always satisfied visitors needs. However, it is better then nothing and good when some products at the sale

Great place to find anything from home repair to home renovations. Small store yet very friendly staff that can find what you need or order it in for you. Definitely a place to check out.

I like to encourage Canadian owned businesses, hence I have shopped at Home Hardware whenever possible instead of going to Lowes or Home Depot. However, that changed as of today. I will never set foot in this store again. Twice in 11 days I have been charged more than the shelf advertised prices. The first time I did not notice the $2.50 price difference until I got home. I felt it was not worth the effort going back. Today I paid attention at the cash register and noticed that I was being charged 0.50 more than the price marked on the pallet outside. I pointed it out to the man at the cash whose answer was that the code showed the higher price and that's what he was charging, notwithstanding the fact that he had gone outside to check the price at the pallet. He made no effort to reconcile the issue. I cancelled my purchase and walked out.
It is unfortunate that this happened, because, as others have remarked, some of the people working there have been very helpful in the past.
Word to the wise, if you shop there, check your receipt before leaving.

So happy to have reno @ Sittsville store. Unfortunately i will not be shopping there again as the greeting cards display is the rudest and crudest that I ever seen. This is not my 1st rodeo but 1st thing inside new entrance would have been out of place even in a 1950 s frat house. Come on folks- clean up your act! I am off to Lowe s until further notice.

This Home Hardware is the best. Everyone that works there are so helpful. I go there often and get great service all the time. I don't usually write reviews, but I must say I get better service than those two other big box stores. Thank you all.

Good place, not a very big store though, but mainly go there for UPS drop offs.. not the cheapest or best priced store.
