Rooms were well kept and clean. Staff was very curteous and the only negative thing was the beds were a little harder than what I am used to for a hotel. 4 out of 5 stars for me

Nice view from 1706 big building in front but still a small spot exposing downtown buildings, service is quick
Fantastic price, location, and amenities! The staff were extremely friendly. I accidentally left behind an expensive pair of boots and they mailed them to me without even asking to pay for shipping although I insisted. I also love how the room is laid out with a family area separate from the bedroom and entrances from both to the washroom, with the toilet and shower in another room.
Very nice location in the downtown core. Within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Clean and quiet suites that are larger than many with nice furniture in the sitting area. A wet bar for making beverages. The only slight glitch was the breakfast buffet. Small selection, poorly designed serving area and food not kept warm enough. Not terrible but not up to the standards of the rest of the property.
What a nice place to stay! So much available and the staff go above and beyond!
10 minute walk from union. The rooms are a very good size and I felt comfortable the entire time I was there.
I stayed at Cambridge hotel and suites Toronto for my birthday weekend. This is by far the dirtiest hotel I've stayed at! Before going to bed I noticed that there were what appeared to be pee stains on the blanket. So I removed it and slept with just sheets. In the morning I went to make a cup of coffee only to find dust and dead bugs by the coffee maker. At that point I was disgusted. I began to look around the room only to notice the room was completely dirty! The house keeping needs to be fired for lack of cleanliness. The fridge hasn't been wiped in a while because there are stains of old food. This hotel is not worth the money at all!!! I used shower shoes to shower due to the amount of dirt on the water mat for the tub. This hotel stay completely ruined my weekend. I reported all of this to their manger on duty who did nothing about it besides giving us breakfast vouchers. I highly regret staying at this hotel.
Stayed for 1 night. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good and there was lots of choices. The hotel is right on Richmond St and Yonge St aand close to everything. I would definitely recommend it.
From the staff at the front desk to the staff In the restaurant to the comfortable bed and the great location and the grat price point, this is a wonderful hotel. I highly recommend it.
Love the room we had no need to go out for drinks because you have your own bar at your room, snacks if you got hungry and friendly staff
Staff is not respectful at all. The front office manager Shirley was very cold and just gave excuses to why things weren t working.
WiFi is unreliable. It is slow and cuts off. They said they will bring a booster to the room to better the strength of the speed - this never happened.
Staff constantly travels using guest elevators just for one floor. This was not stated on any sites. This is normally not really an issue, but just an add on to the poor stay.
Fire alarm went off for more than 15 minutes due to something next door. When I told the front office agent I was really disturbed and would like someone to follow up, he mentioned the manager will follow up via phone. She sents me an email. Upon check out, I let her know that it was a bit surprising to have her follow up via email as I was waiting a call. She said l, I had already left for the day, so I just sent an email . I checked out two days after the incident where she chose to not follow up. Then, said the fire alarms are here to protect us. I told her, I understand, but no one has yet apologized for the inconvenience - not even in her cold email. She then proceeded to repeat herself and say they are here to protect us. I told her there is no arguing that and as she proceeded to cut me off, I told her never mind, you re not listening.
Plus, the rooms are not that clean. I opted out not doing the breakfast that was included due to the cleanliness of the hotel.
Great location, parking a little pricey but convenient, rooms in need of some maintenance, decent breakfast.
Great location, great service, spacious room, organized. Amazing hotel
Lovely quiet hotel, spent 2 nights on the 14th floor. Nice large suites, very clean and well layed out. Great service from the staff.
Rooms were spacious. Bed comfy, plenty of towels, great little kitchen area. Staff polite and helpful especially Rahul. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone planning a trip to Toronto. Close to everything! Didn t have the breakfast there but it looked good!
Excellent location close to PATH, streetcars and the subway as well as the Eaton Centre. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean, well stocked and the bed was heavenly. Made use of the gym and the hot tub with good views. Next time I'm in Toronto I'll be staying here again
Horrible experience with staff. Not friendly at all.
Rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The staff was fabulous and went the extra mile in helping me when I lost some items in a local taxi. Location is good for downtown, close to the Hockey Hall of Fame and can walk to all the stadiums in about 15 minutes. Local shops for food and drinks are good too. Try Batch across the street and Sud Forno.
Great hotel for my week long stay during a business trip. The hotel was very hospitable and the service was amazing. Anytime you needed something they were always there to help. The rooms were spacious as well and had everything you needed for a great stay. If I had to stay in downtown Toronto I'd definitely consider Cambridge suits.
The hotel was cool, but they need to relax with the late guest policy.
Food is great but staff was so disrespectful since they don't know we understand Chinese ... I really like their food tho
The Cambridge Hotel in Toronto is beautiful and friendly in Canada and in the center
Fabulous staff, room was clean and comfy, but the best thing was the location!
Good value for the top-notch service and delightful accommodations. The suites are large 1 bedroom apartments with French doors separating living room & bedroom. Wraparound windows across the entire exterior allow for striking city views, so the upper floors are best. Decent fitness room, but you get a free pass to a phenomenal full health club just around the corner. Good location with easy access to Kensington & Chinatown. Suite includes wet bar, microwave, ample refrigerator.
I have stayed here with my family before and it is always great. However, I'm leaving this review because we had to cancel our upcoming July booking with Cambridge Suites. They were extremely gracious about cancelling and gave me absolutely no hassle. The woman I spoke with (I believe her name was Elizabeth) was friendly and professional. She took the time to explain to me how I should proceed with Expedia, who the original booking was with. When life goes back to normal (or the new normal) and we're able to visit Toronto again, we will definitely be giving these wonderful people our business!
The rooms are beautiful, very clean with modern furnishings. The only issue I encountered was with then front desk, my partner and I were returning late in the evening and I took the elevator up with another guest staying at the hotel. However I had to go back down to the lobby to return a bag to a friend. When I returned the bag, and I tried to go back to my room with my partner, the front desk hassled me saying I just went up with someone, and asked how many people were staying in my room. I had to explain I didnt even know the guy who used the elevator with me, and that he was not staying in my room. I understand the hotel has a strict party policy but I found the front desk clerk to be over-the-top to question me because I took the elevator with another guest who didn't even enter the building with me.
That "we're a downtown hotel so this is our policy" attitude was annoying. My girlfriend and I came after partying and our friends wanted to crash for the night so they could depart in the morning. Paid $25 bucks/person for 2 people, however they were adamant on not letting the 5th person in (it was -7 degrees Celsius outside). Manager said it was policy and the person had to leave - he told me this was standard practice across downtown (false, from personal experience Mariott atleast lets you bring in extra people sans charge).
A hotel should epitomize hospitality, Cambridge was far from hospitable that night.
Very poor service. Staff is unfriendly and you are not free to come and go to your own room you paid for. I will not be staying here again and I would no recommend anybody else does either.
Excellent hotel - conference facilities and equipment are top-notch. Even started using it for my own trips to TO. Reasonably priced, excellent and helpful staff.
Worst Hotel Stay Ever! Stay Away at any cost!
The rude nature of the staff will make you wish you never went to Toronto.
Rules and threats are given to you upon check-in.
They're also money hungry at this hotel.
If a person is visiting in your hotel room for even an hour, you have to pay an extra 30 dollars.
Security will bother you at the room in the middle of the night, when you didn't make a peep of noise, just to check how many people are staying in your room.
This is a prison.
I always enjoy my stay at the Cambridge Suites. It provides easy access to meetings downtown and the staff is always friendly and professional. Furthermore, the rooms are well proportioned and conducive to working while on the road. I would certainly stay here again.
Great location and large rooms. Everything is clean and staff is nice. I would stay there again.
I've stayed here a couple of times now and I really enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is great. The breakfast is included in some rates. It's tasty but not stellar. The spa and exercise area are top knotch with rooftop views. The rooms are all a bit different and I like the higher floors.
Great location 7 minute walk to the Hockey Hall of fame, 10 minute trolley ride to CN tower and Rodgers Center. Friendly hotel staff. Very nice and clean room with a full snack bar with beer and wine with prices being moderate ($6 cad for a beer).
Good room layout. Clean. My only complaints would be a slightly snarky desk clerk, and the lack of early check-in option.
Outdated room, squeaky bed, very good service and nice staff.
Staff was unfriendly, did not want to have guests staying in the room although I had 2 double beds and a pull out couch. Staff was stating that they can decide who is allowed to stay and that only the room holder and no guests were allowed in the room. I've been traveling all my life all over the world and never had such a bad experience. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL not worthed
Amazing service, great rooms, very comfortable beds
Not a bad hotel. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from all the popular places. Friendly staff on reception. Good policies to kurb noise and disruption from other guests late at night. In fact you have to sign to say you accept these terms when you stay. Only paying guests overnight too. Rooms are a little lacking finese I guess. Bit tough around the edges but you can see they make the effort with cleaning and housekeeping. Bed was awful - way too hard for me. Suffering from sore shoulder as a result. Hot shower, air con works and very spacious. Restaurant downstairs was surprisingly empty but food was really good. Would recommend but only if you can deal with a hard mattress. Oh and wireless internet works a treat too. No complaints streaming and whatnot.
Good modern hotel in downtown Toronto. Has a underground parking which is easy to use and allows you to come and go (with elevator). Good restaurant and bar with good service. Room was large with a separate sitting area. Good place to stay when in Toronto and you want a bit more space.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff has been exceptional. The rooms are very nice and clean. The restaurant's food has been wonderful. I would definitely come back.
Hotel was OK, relatively clean and service was nice.
Excellent staff, rates, king suites, minibar, kitchenette, room service, excellent location
Exceptional service. I had a very clean and comfortable room. Room service was fast and my food was cooked to perfection. But the front desk attendants go out of their way to make you feel like a VIP
Very clean and spacious. Rooms are double occupancy, guess need to register with front desk. Good corporate bookings. Make sure you have your credit card for your $250 incidentals fee.
Very clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is good. Great breakfast!
Good ubication. Very friendly employees. Large room.
This is my go to place when I visit Toronto. Nice size rooms and great location. Right next to the path underground access.
Practically situated, friendly and efficient staff. Clean suites.
Overall it was an okay place. They really like their quiet environment (to the pojnt where they make people sign accepting the policy and have a lot oof signage everywhere, includjng jncthe room. We get it...). We got the junior suite. Overall it was all just, okay. It was a biy old, a bit dusty, the room we were in had moulding that was cracked, door handles to the bathroom that weren't properly secured. The bathtub wasn't very nice, somehwat plain and the shower head pretty nice albeit low flow. Location was good. Bed wasn't bad but wasn't great. Overall we've been to better places for the same price. For what we paid we didn't really feel it was worth while, but if we had to we may consider staying there again. Note: staff was very friendly.
Nice hotel, WiFi was very slow, but in general nice
Great overall hotel! It would be nice if they explained the parking situation prior to arrival. You get a discount with a much better time allowance going through the hotel, but you don t find out until after check-in... once you ve already paid for public parking.
Awesome. Helpful staff. Location, location, location!!!!
Service was for the most part very good. We had some trouble arranging late check out, but that was our only issue.
The room was fantastic. Very clean and visually appealing.
They do have a somewhat unusual guest and noise policy. The hotel requires overnight guests to be registered at the front desk. And late night parties or any sort of racket late at night are not tolerated. This could be a positive or negative depending on the guest.
Went here for a business meeting and we had a nice conference room, right in downtown.
Convenient location. Discounted prices for Hospital patient family. Accomodating
Great experience from beginning to end. Very courteous staff and accommodations were top notch.
The customer service is terrible, the staff keeps being rude to us customers, the room was very dirty, and the the place smells..
Great location, near Eaton centre. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Parking garage is a bit tricky. Recommended...
Great suite to stay in. Had everything i needed. Slept great!
I was met with some nice, friendly people, including the gentleman who checked us in on the evening of Dec 7, the restaurant staff on the morning of Dec 8 and the doorman who helped me with my luggage when we checked out on Dec 14.
The restaurant staff on the morning of Dec 8 were very impatient with my toddler. When my toddler climbed over the couch onto the heater, two ladies came, in 10 seconds apart, to tell me it was dangerous. While I was grateful for the first reminder and acutely aware of the danger, and I was trying to bring him down, a second lady came unnecessarily harsh and warned us. Instead of telling my toddler to come back, I grabbed him and of course he cried loudly and made noises, something I was trying to avoid in the first place. The First Lady rolled her eyes at us. We left before I could have a few bites.
One morning at 5:15am, we went to the health club and found the hot tub cold. A man from the concierge came and turned on the air pump. I asked him if by switching on the air pump, the water will be heated. He said I don t see other buttons and left. He didn t care if his customers receive any service or our demands were met. We stayed there for another 30 minutes and the water was still cold. The next day when we were waiting for taxi the same man asked me if the hot tub worked. I told him no and he shrugged. He had no knowledge about the operations of hotel facilities and no desire to provide services that hotel guests deserve!
Prude, disrespectful staff who think that if you arnt in a business suit you arnt good enough to stay there
Stayed downtown for a concert. The hotel was nice and the room was clean and quite nice. Staff was also very friendly.
Excellent location, great service when check in. The room is clean although it may seem a bit old for some people. The suite is large and central air conditioning is very nice. It provides decent hot breakfast. Would definitely recommend it firsthand who is travelling to Toronto and like to stay close to downtown.
Good place to stay in down town Toronto. Very reachable from public transit. Location is perfect. All the attractions are walkable.
Tons of grocery near by the hotel and lot of dining options near by. WiFi was very reliable and the staff was very helpful.
I just stopped by to print something and they were kind enough to let me
Excellent place and service!!! We were very right in choosing it.
