Callippe Preserve Golf Course Review

Wonderful golf course in Pleasanton. The back 9, especially 18, was tough. We had a tee time of 11:30 AM and didn't run into any one else on the course until Hole No. 6 which was nice. The golf carts have GPS and their BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich is so good.

Awesome for trekking. Most beautiful place , I recommend highly. Might get difficult with little kids

My daughter's wedding was held at. Callippe and it was beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The food was outstanding! It was an all around perfect venue!!

How could this course be bad when you get a hole-in-one on the 16th

Very good course, the first nine holes are easier, and the latter nine holes are relatively long and the green is not difficult. Lunches are all hamburgers. The shop did not sell anything.

Great course. Test all your skills. Fairways and greens usually in great shape. 18th hole is a monster. Stay left after tee shot.

Fun course and probably one of the better public courses around. Would be 5 star if the greens were faster and if pace of play actually existed there.

Great track! A wonderful diversity in hole layouts with challenging greens. Not a course for the faint of heart!
Ranks right up there with Silverado - maybe even better! Yes, better.

The course is in great shape, and challenging as always. It is also a bargain. Come soon, but preferably not when I am there, too many people spoil the equation.

I love this course because it offers excellent challenge for advanced players who have to navigate and plan out shots to score low. But it's laid out where it gives intermediate players confidence if they can make something happen. It's a nice course to walk if you're in pretty good shape, the back nine being more challenging to walk.
And the 19th hole? Well it's pretty good.

The course is in excellent shape we played during aeration little disappointed did not say before we booked our time that they aerated but looking forward to going back! Great staff incredible Golf Course

Good condition, some greens with lots of undulations.

This golf course is one of my favorite golf courses. The backline is more difficult than the front, especially the 17/18 hole is difficult for me. Pleasanton resident discounts are also attractive.

Beautiful place, there is also a hike that goes around the golf, very easy amd family friendly, specially for kids

Great deal they have going on for the first hour of sunlight! $25 with coffee and breakfast can't beat it. The course is kept in great shape in light of the dry conditions California has. Their rental set was better than my own lol. Shot a great round and would definitely come back the next time I'm in the Bay Area.

Close to the mountain, the scenery is beautiful, the fairway is well-maintained, there are a lot of little squirrels, and sometimes the birds will follow you as if to tell you how to play the ball. On the 17th hole, you also saw herds of deer running. It feels like the course is wild The animals are very friendly, and it's fun to play with the animals. $63

It's a beautiful challenging course, new carts with up to date navigation and yardage to hole screens.

We came for a wedding not golf. The setting is gorgeous with rolling hills and oak trees. It's quiet and remote. The directional signs help but they could use a few more.

Close to hwy 680, this golf course has 18 holes, not too many difficult holes, but does have sufficient challenges, good fairway and greens condition!

Excellent course - challenging, especially from tips.

Beautiful course with challenging setup throughout. Lots of elevated tee boxes. Greens were sneaky quick. Was a beautiful hot day. Pace was great started at 1150 and finished before 4. I usually walk but cart is highly recommended here. Especially if it's warm. This course used to be closed to only Alameda county residents from what I heard, so if you've never been I highly suggest playing here ! Payed 65$ a person with cart via golfnow

Their driving range is quiet good. It is little bit expensive but the service and quality deserved the premium.

Course is in great shape. The wait staff is excellent and my score was mediocre.

Nice tight little course. $63 a person with cart. Not tooo bad on wallet. Club house bar was good !! Secret spot in Pleasanton. Went with some buddy's and had a Great time !!

Greens were a bit slow but in great shape otherwise. Couple tee boxes need help because they are like hitting on a mound. Rest of course and clubhouse were fabulous.

Absolutely beautiful area, which is extended this amazing course. It's not the easiest to golf (there are a lot of hills), but it's hard not to enjoy such a lovely place.

Fun and challenging course. First time we played it and we enjoyed ourselves. The greens rolled very consistently which is always nice.

Was here for my 20 year high school reunion fast efficient and friendly service and staff

First time there went with 3 other couples. We all had a great time. Challenging for all levels. Greens in great shape fairways nice.

Course is fun to play, in decent shape.. lots of target golf, you can find lots of trouble, lots of bunkers in middle of fairways.. unacceptable 5 1/2 hour round on a Tuesday.. Where's the marshal???

It is a 5 star if the greens are not bumpy. They need to be rolled or something.

Beautiful venue! Most of the staff are really nice. Pace of play was not good; nearly 6 hour round. But the course is in great shape. It challenging but fair.

Tough course particularly on the back 9, but it's still a great play. Should only walk this course if you are really fit AND a good player or you will struggle and slow everyone down to a crawl. Beautiful course and well maintained.

It took a while for me to like this course. Now, I consider it a regular in the rotation.

The course plays much different from each set of tees. You can play one hole from the back tees and play aggressive and have to be conservative from one of the forward tees on the same hole. That makes it fun and still enjoyable to play with different skill levels.

One thing I can't stand is that 2 of the par 5s are forced 3 shotters just because of their design, with a 3rd a maybe to include on that list. For that I knock it down to 3 stars.

Entertaining 18 hole course, easy access, nice staff. The pro shop has everything you need and the food and drinks are refreshing.

This is a great public course with a nice layout and great scenery. Course was wet but it is winter and still in great shape. Challenging greens and you have to place a lot of shots
