I honestly disappointed in the customer service and the they way kids are treated here, my kids went there on a trip and they had fun but when they went to the gift shop all my daughter wanted to buy as a post card she had 5$ we been to many different places and most post cards are 3$ max the the person working at the gift shop told her is was 5.99 and she didn't have enough very rudely like she was some poor worthless kid, when asked what she could buy they simply laugh and walked away my daughter cried. I should have gave her more but i honestly didn't think they would be so much. We will never be going back they shouldn't have acted that way with a child.

Big enough museum you can take all day to go through it and not be able to see everything. Small enough museum that you don't feel overwhelmed. Lots of info to see and touch. Very interactive and hands on.

Excellent for kids in the upper elementary or middle schools. If visiting, excellent place to see and check off that you visited.

I visited on weekdays, but it's free and there aren't many people. Instead, it was impressive that the working people matched the eye level of the children. The place to experience is a bit old, but a place where you can have a good time. I definitely want to try a flying bicycle, but it's surprisingly scary.

Mostly really cool, with so much stuff you can get right up close to.... they even encourage you to touch exhibits such as the space shuttles tyres from its last mission. Quite a few interactive displays are broken and run down

Well I'm from England and was well impressed with the exhibition and relatively low cost of entry to the history of the dinasore. Very life like in fact so much it made you wonder how could they live on planet earth 50 million years ago.
After that I went to the spider house ugh don't like spiders but very educational.
Next was the space shuttle. That was my cup of tea. Absolutely fantastic. Just seeing the kit close to is amazing. After going back in time with dinasore's you step forward in time to man,s achievement in space. So fantastic.
Now what are the downsides:
Paying for parking and little extras to see various other displays. It soon mounted up with car parking and admission to nearly 100$ for a family of four.
Still well worth it for 6 hours truly fascinating insight to past and present.
Food 2 burgers and fries 18$ Not bad I thought. Would I go again a big Yes.

Amazing.

Amazing.
The Tut exhibit was incredibly well done.
The rest of the museum was fun, and of course we will be back.
Please let me in tank with shark friends....I'm their cousin!

Went to see the King Tut exhibit and see the Space Shuttle Endeavor. They step is for setups very nice. The food in the food court was a little expensive but worth it. Can't wait to go again with a new exhibit comes.

Entrance is free but parking is $12 cash only so be prepared. The museum itself doesn't look to have been updated much since the late 90s early 2000s with faded CRT monitors and many out of commission exhibits.
The sections about biomes and climate appears more up to date (in contrast anyway). All the larger exhibits are locked behind paywalls so don't expect to see the space shuttle without a little extra.

Loved this museum. It's huge, so much to see and explore! My daughter loved it, she touched and interacted with so many things there. You have go prepared to walk A LOT though. Parking was $8 and close to the entrance, all day parking till 5pm. They have a McDonald's inside the museum and you can sit outside enjoying your food. There's sitting areas to take a break and elevators in case you prefer instead of escalators.
