There was a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses there during that weekend. It was clean, the seating was great, easy to get around.

Awesome atmosphere for hockey. Vendors ok. Prices to high. Eat before you go
Wow.....food and drinks way to expensive, now way in hell it should jump 100 percent
If there's anywhere I'd pick as my favourite place to be with my family and friends, the hockey game would be it. It's a great place where I can celebrate my city with like minded folks. Keep up the good work!
Calgary Roughnecks & Buffalo Bandits honouring Broncos
The place is good but old out dated lol been calgary next!
Was at a hitman game. All around good time. Just wish for 6 bucks you got got a decent amount of mini donuts lol
Awful place, they prohibit e-cigarettes anywhere on the property and refuse to let customers back in that leave for a vape break.
According to the primary tenants, the 'Dome is an ancient, crumbling, pathetic excuse for a rink that makes the Flames the laughing stock of the entire league. From a fan's point of view, it's fine. The seats have good views, the concourse is pretty narrow but there are plenty of bathrooms, and the food service is getting better every year. Of course, it gets more expensive every year as well, no matter the event. It's not the gleaming icon of progress it might once have been, but that distinctive saddle roofline is now as iconic as the Calgary Tower, and it would be a shame to see it go, just to build something with more luxury boxes.
Home of the NHL'S Calgary Flames, WHL'S Hitmen and NLL Roughnecks... concerts, tractor pulls and curling bonspiels... a year round venue thats seemingly not so old as say the Corral across the street but she is lacking in a few facilities. Food selection okay pretty much zero gluten free options which unfortunately for me is a detractor. Overall a good major league hockey facility.
Love the Flames but the Dome needs an update. I'm also not willing to pay for any of it as a tax payer. There I said it.
Always a good time catching hockey games here, win or lose. Props to the organ player especially.
This used to be an incredible building.... in the 80's It is somewhat of an embarrassment to the city now. It is VERY dated and you can tell it has several layers of paint over it and looks old. It serves a purpose I guess but that is vastly coming to an end. Seating is sketchy if you're up in the "nose bleed" seats and the acoustics are terrible. Calgary has to do something about this venue as I'm sure it has turned people away from performing here, very sad.
Went to see stars on ice perfect event and seats were awesome
Love this building!! Great atmosphere! Great people! Great teams!! Go Flames Go!!!
The Saddle Dome should be kept as part of the city's heritage!!! It's unique saddle shape should be enough reason to keep it and find another block of land to build a new stadium!!! That's my idea...
Always a good time. Beer overpriced but expected in an arena
Very nice place and good view of the game was in a suite good experience. Appreciated
Misleading advertising and very poor staff communication at concessions. The advertising on $5 Hitmen and Roughnecks specials need better signage, and better education of employees. Got there 30 min prior to game time, lined up, and when got to the front, I learned only some concessions have some of the $5 specials, and if you want another one on the list, you need to: 1. Find another concession selling what you want (no directions, no app to guide you); 2. Line up again (crowd is busier now, line longer)--only to learn when you get to the front the $5 special is for a Hitmen and not a Roughnecks game. Seriously? Lining up 15+ min across 2 lines to find this out? Big disappointment. For a professional location, this is a business case marketing and operations management case study in the making!
First hockey ive watched in calgary and got to watch the game with friends and in the box seats
Great location, easy to get to and out of. Brilliant for concerts!
The place was hot boxed, gave me a headache. But was told there was nothing they could do because of all of the fights were a priority
The concert was great but as anyone would probably say the venue is dated and seriously 9.25 for a beer? At that price point all you do is make it hard for your servers to make decent tips.
Needs slightly comfier chairs but had an amazing time
I just cannot understand how pricing works here. How is a beer 11 dollars? How can food be the price it is? It's not like this place hasn't been paid for many times over by now! It's not like this place is offering above average food and drink. It's not like it has any amenities or services that are above average. It's old, but serviceable for events, but the sheer cost to attend is unreasonable!
One of the older arena s in the NHL, it s still a great place to watch a hockey game.
Sadly I will miss the saddle shaped dome when it goes, It was as unique as Calgary was and was instantly recognizable around the world. I hope those designing the new arena will design something bold and as unique as the saddledome was
Place needs an update at the least. $10.50 for a beer is steep.
The stars are all for the Foo Fighters, not the 'Dome.
Pretty terrible sound quality for concerts. Coming from Europe, chairs on the floor for most of the rock, rap... concerts is a huge "no, no" for the atmosphere. But since the name of the game here is "liability first", I see why it's done.
Super fun and cool better then the Oilers stadium and it's bran new ?
Need a new one. Lineups for everything. Funny, stadium holds 17000 and seems sooooo busy. Go to any other country with stadiums that hold 60000 and it seems less busy. Calgary should think about infrastructure support and build up in advance of any new stadium to ensure it can be supported. Think outside the city.....not downtown again!!!
Not the most up-to-date venue, but a great atmosphere! Dome foams are sure to get you very drunk and the pocket dogs are just delicious. Most big events in Calgary are hosted here and usually a great time
I would love this place although I live in New Hampshire and have never been in Canada the flames are my favorite team so yea
Dated facility. Calgary is in desperate need of a new arena.
Was fun seeing the game, we sat soooo high above everything
Went for the fact it s a historical place I always heard off. Place needs renovations!! Great hockey fans!
Great experiences here and although an aging building in terms of arenas it's still full of energy.
Awesome! what energy feels there!, my first hockey game and now I became a fan
Really enjoy volunteering here for the Flames games. The people we serve are always nice and respectful. I like the fast pace.
Well maintained. Beers are now $10.00-$10.50. It's disgusting.
Tonight, very special, first time attending the Hitmen's teddy bear toss. They lost in overtime unfortunately but good family entertainment
If I could give no stars I would. The staff, medical team, security team are a joke!
Even though prices are still pretty high for everything it's nice to see they are branching out into better food. Go flames!
A bit dated but always a great venue for a show or game.
