Great service House keeeping staff is very friendly!

Was here for a wedding. Staff was awesome. Rooftop lounge was exactly what the after dinner party needed

Nice big room. The king room included a sofa and a large closer with a safe. Some unexpected loud construction noise was taking place during our first night.

This is a great hotel downtown, easy walking distance to many pubs and fine dining. They have a great system where you can fill your own water containers up on your floor, sparkling or still. Saves on waste for sure and for someone who likes his water this is great! Comfy beds and great staff as well, highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Marriott because they were the preferred hotel for a festival I was going to.
- The festival started at 1 but Marriott told us we had to check in at 3. Thought it was unprofessional that they didn't arrange earlier check-in for the festival.
- We came back at 3 like they asked, and they still weren't ready. They finally checked us in after 5 PM, when the festival was half over. We had to get ready for the festival in a public bathroom.
- They didn't offer anything as an apology. No discount, no open bar, no free breakfast, etc.

Didn't feel appreciated as a customer at all. For a four-star hotel, this was very disappointing. Only gave 3 stars because the room was clean. Won't be coming back here again.

Had a great time celebrating my girls birthday! The staff really knows how to take care of they loyal members. Highly recommend!

Worth every dollar! Use the valet service because this hotel is located near everything. Perfect to stay here if attending a function at the Telus Convention Centre or Calgary Tower. The pillows are 10/10.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomy and nice. Great location for walking to a lot of places.

Great central location downtown, service and food was excellent for a medium-sized event.

Bed was not comfortable, shower was questionable clean, hidden fees, when asking for re stock on coffee it took 3 times asking and then only decaf was provided, no breakfast provided only a Starbucks in house and im not a Starbucks fan, when trying to go for dinner at the Milestones you have to go trough the back door trough the restourant to get to the reservation table located out side for a 20 min wait since the kitchen could not handle the volume when the restaurant was 1/2 empty.
The valet were profesional and provided good service.

While it might not look like much from the exterior or the lobby, the rooms are very up-to-date and comfortable. It's location is ideal, directly across the street from the Calgary Tower ... and the bus that comes directly from the airport (#300). It's within staggering distance of some of the most pleasant restaurants and bars. Recommended.

Fantastic location in Calgary, with a good breakfast, clean rooms and a Starbucks in the Foyer.

Wife and I decided to do a weekend getaway, even though we live 10 min away from this hotel. We had a wonderful and pleasant experience, we especially enjoy M lounge. We got to eat any time we want and whatever we wanted, and the food were delicious. Thank u for such great weekend and we certainly will return in the future!

Went for otafest and only the conference rooms were used but was spacious, well cleaned, and looked nice.

For a so-called high end hotel I am completely disappointed. My allergies flared up so bad and I had taken my allergy pills and used eye drops. I've stayed in cheaper hotels and was more satisfied than here.

Lobby had an odd smell to it. The overall ambiance was nice tho, can't comment on the rooms as I was there for a work event

Very nice and comfortable rooms. Good bar and restaurant at the bottom. Gym needs a treadmill at least and a bit more space.

Hotel is in busy downtown Calgary but is very close to all sorts of good restaurants and interesting activities. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. A bit pricey although I was traveling on short notice.

Superior hotel and service. Nice clean rooms with a view. The valet and room service were amazing.

Horrible customer service. I've never been treated worse by a hotel! 11 minutes and I had talked to 7 people to just get the run around and told nothing. And to be given horrible service by the staff with such appalling attitudes.

The atmophere was delightful. The waitress was well versed in scotch and burbon. Was a great time.

Attended an event in the Sunalta room. The staff acted extremely professionally and the event was extremely well-planned and ran. Good work!

Restaurant was fairly expensive and was not vegetarian friendly. No vegetarian mains and they could not adjust any of the plates for it. Other than that, food as good, whiskey selection was awesome, however service was pretty slow.

Nicely renovated rooms. Lower floors don't have much of a view but hotel is in a good location. However the hotel only offers valet parking.

Nice hotel, modern, large and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was that the pool had no proper changing area and the poolside shower only had cold water.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for an escape away. Truly did it feel like we were taken away to a fantasy land. The service was impeccably detailed and quick. A smile was on the face of everyone which suggested they enjoyed working here as much as we enjoyed staying. The devil was in the details so to speak with this hotel. Our unexpressed wishes were taken care of before we even knew we had them! Without asking they provided a microwave to our room within 2 minutes of our call. Very professional. Overall we felt like we were the most important guests in the hotel although I have a sneaking suspicion that the other guests did as well. Thank you for the lovely weekend.

Our stay at the Mariott overall was great and started with Jit greeting us warmly and showing excitement for our weekend festivities. The rooms are lovely and have comfortable beds. The staff were so kind as to bring requested items to the room that we were in need of, and did so promptly. The only drawback is that the front desk was exceptionally busy and we attempted multiple times to call down to get our vehicle from valet parking, receiving a busy signal multiple times. By the time our car was deliver to us our whole escapade was approximately an hour, so if valet parking is required in the morning I would recommend calling quite far ahead of when you expect to leave. We ended up having to wait to go for breakfast in this time and were quite hungry, so Jit offered to purchase us Starbucks breakfast, but ended up providing us some items to take with us and tide us over. All in all, we had a great stay and were pleased with the staff and the facilities! We will stay here again in the future.

Their staff are excellent, the bed like sleeping on a cloud and finally you must check out their lounge. The food and service are also heavenly. You gotta try it!!!

Central location, close to good restaurants and has a nice gym

A very pleasant stay in downtown Calgary. The rooms are nicely furnished, and spacious. Front desk staff are very helpful and inviting, and make the stay that much better.

Liked the service and hospitality. Its at a prime location surrounded by restaurants. The train station is also nearby. Walking distance to the jogging track near the bow river. I liked their gym and evening snacks lounge.

Booked through Expedia for one room with 2 double beds for 3 people but when we checked in they told us we will have 1 queen bed because we booked from a third party site we don't get what we want.They expected 1 of us to sleep on a sofa even though we're paying good money for a luxury hotel. We had to convince them a second time to give us some sort of benefits since it was ridiculous. Luckily they paid for our valet parking. Also gave us extra linens and duvets. They hastily called us when another 2 double bed room was available which we're grateful for.

Been coming to Calgary for the last couple of months on a recent assignment and this has been my preferred place of stay. I have stayed in a number of Marriott hotels across the USA but this has got to be the best so far considering the price per night and the tier level. Located in the heart of the town with a lot of restaurants around, makes it all the more convenient for a consultant like me. Very spacious rooms that looks hip and brand new, good restaurant in-house and a pretty good gym. Got a CrossFit place that just 2 blocks away. Has the best in class service from the people who work here. Prices are very reasonable when you take other tier 1 hotels in the same area. Couldn't have been more happier. Will be my preferred hotel for as long as I am asked to travel to Calgary for my assignment.

My company has used the conference room and it was relatively nice and organized. Service was ok nothing exceptional.

The rooms were clean and modern. The staff went up and beyond to accommodate us from grabbing things we forgot in valet parking, to surprising the Bachelorette with sweet treats and helping us with any requests we had. Thank you for the great stay! Your team is fantastic and great customer service!

The internal layout has changed since last visit. I was attending a trade show and previous visits you just walked up a short flight over very wide stairs to the conference floor. Now you must take the elevator to 2. Signage was basic in this.

I stay here regularly (recent switch from a nearby competing hotel brand) and gotta say I'm happy with the switch. Clean overall, rooms are comfortable, lounge access (if you have it) is pleasureable, good amenities and breakfast offered in there. My one and only gripe.....the lavender or whatever it is that is fumagated in the lobby area! It is mad strong and consuming. Needs to be toned down in my opinion but otherwise no other complaints. Staff are smiley and great to deal with thus far. Thanks guys!

Service, amenities and room were all what you would hope to get.

We recently held our company Christmas party here. The staff that organized it were great, the staff that reach the event on the day of were very professional and were always looking to see if there was anything they could do to make everyone have a good time. The food was good and tasty which can sometimes be a challenge for large groups. The only thing I would have changed is I would have had more tables out for people to place drinks on during the cocktail hour.

I attended a meeting at the Calgary Marriott Doentown. The breakfast supplied was excellent, and the facilities were perfect for the event.

Great downtown location with good room prices. Valet parking is very over priced. Nice rooms and friendly helpful staff. Overall above average but I feel there are better hotels in the area.

It's sad that company's like this allow 3rd parties to contact the general public on their behalf.
The phone calls are ridiculous and the employee on the other end of the phone clearly does not care about your business. I'm surprised that someone would let their company be represented so poorly.
I know that I won't be using their services in the future because of their lack of compassion.

I travel a lot for work. I stayed in this hotel for more than 10 times. The staff is always very friendly. They made the hotel feel like home. When I reach a status, their staff sent hand-written note and a box of macaron all in beautiful forms. I was so touched by their little gestures that show their caring for guests. Thank you Marriott Downtown Hotel! It was a great experience staying there.

This establishment is clean, modern, comfortable, with friendly staff. Missing one star as sound insulation is not the best. I could clearly hear what is going on the street although I was on a higher level.
