The food and drinks were great and fairly priced. Wait times were a little longer but that was probably due to low staff because of COVID. We will be back again. Overall it was a fun time and the patio was gorgeous

I love this place why isnt it dominating the area ??? Alex (the bartender) is expert in his field. I know a bar from a fake. This is a real pub. No fake style here , you wanna feel class or you just need a few drinks. This place accommodates experience

Saw a new restaurant. Liked the atmosphere. We ordered and both of our meals were missing items. It was 50+ min before we got our food back right. Unfortunately, even with the missing ingredients corrected the food was by far sub par. Whatever you do, do not order the pizza . They also told us the covid charge they didn't warn us about was for the government but it's was a punched in charge and not tax to the government. As well as there being no covid tax for federal or provincial tax. Not as upset about that as I am with the food. We're off to Wendy's!

The place has a nice decor and has been changed since it was G bistro. The manager (may be the owner) was very nice looking after us and our daughter. Service was the issue. Given how slow it looked we should not have had an issue with service. She took our order down wrong, didn't really make any recommendations and just came across as not very warm. I'm sure she didn't mean to but remember you are in the service industry. After replacing our order for pizza with the correct one we were told we would be charged 10% less. Not only did this not happen but we got charged for a meat lovers pizza rather than just cheese. I didn't bother to complain and just left. I cant see us returning anytime soon to be honest. It's a shame as the chef stayed the same and the food in the past was good.
We spent all summer on the patio in this place, such a pleasant atmosphere. Tasty food, I love their lobster bisque and grilled calamari. Friendly staff. I will continue to support Cafe Veranda with my business.

The patio was superb! Provided adequate privacy! The food was stellar and fresh! Our server Anton was very attentive and precise which was greatly appreciated! Met the owner Igor who is a fabulous individual which possesses a warm aura! We shall be back! Thanks again for the splendid evening!
My family and I had a wonderful dinner at the newly reopened Cafe Veranda. The food was tasty and very fresh. The atmosphere was enjoyable and live music was a fantastic bonus!

Need to share my experience! Went in few days ago had a great meal! But what triggered this review more than the food is the honesty of the personel and the business owner!!! I left my personal belongings behind and large amount of cash, credit cards etc.. when realised that they were missing I had called the restaurant to find out that they were safely put away.

This restaurant definitely deserves to keep their 5 star rating. They ve made such a cozy patio with heating to keep you warm and cushions on each seat for your tush. Service was timed appropriately and the food was delicious. We started with some soup (highly recommend their borscht and lobster bisque for soup lovers) and some salad as our mains. Overall, great experience and will go back in the near future.
