Wanted to give a -negative Star, but it isn't available. I used aweber at the advice of a friend, who I found later had never used them but read the great reviews. Okay, So I uploaded my contacts, etc. Aweber sent out an automatic email to each contact and ended up -- over a long series of support calls and extreme frustration that reduced my 789 contacts to 121. The support was condescending and rude. I was told I was lucky to have 121. My contacts were collected at my trade booth, at trade shows in different states over the years from personally signing up these people face to face and promising no BS emails etc to only get what they signed up for - our products news and bi- yearly blog. I use Constant Contact and am very pleased with them.
I love using AWeber for my business's email marketing! It is user-friendly and if I'm ever having an issue, the staff are super helpful!! I recommend AWeber over MailChimp anyway! : ) Thanks

AWeber is very easy to use and has the best delivery of any service that I am aware of.
I am very happy with the custom email creation which adds a personal touch. The drag and drop feature makes this very fast and easy.

Aweber is the best email service out there today. They have top notch customer support, easily created signup forms, fantastic analytics of posts, and did I mention the amazing customer support! When I started using Aweber I didn't know a thing about email marketing, I would call their support line at least once a week. Their support is US based and really seems to care about making the best damn product available. Thank you Aweber!
I have had a few services over the years and have gone back to Aweber; they do everything my business needs plus some, and their integrations are seamless.
AWeber's drag and drop custom emails are quick to build, easy to send, a great way to keep in contact with my clients, also their marketing tips are very helpful for anyone new to their email system.
Too many rules, having to get humans to manually approve my email lists so that I can use customer info that was already given to me.
Five years ago I chose Aweber because it was already one of the highest recommended providers on the Web. Since then I've tested other providers and none of them hold a candle to Aweber.
~ The stats Aweber provides are amazingly detailed.
~ Their customer service and tech support is instantaneous, whether you email with a question or call on the phone.
~ The drag & drop templates make sending out our daily newsletter a piece of cake.
~ They have a tutorial and case study for everything. In fact, it was one of their case studies that convinced me to try a lightbox and that lightbox brings us more subscriptions now than the inline form.
~ Everything you need is easy to find and professionally presented. You know from the minute you hit the Aweber site that you're dealing with a professional organization, not just some shyster who's out to make a buck.
Probably one of the main reasons I love Aweber is I never have to worry about spamming or legal issues. They flag your content to let you know it might not pass spam filters before you even send it and you don't have to do any special set-up for double opt-in - it's all automatic.

As many people, i was looking for a good email marketing company online. So i first compared a lot of different email marketing companies. What i like so much about Aweber:
The complete service they offer and everything is step by step. It took me less then a week to figure everything out.. :-)
It also helped that the first month was 1 dollar. I think this is a great service. For people who are not that familiar with autoresponders, newsletters etc. This gives them a chance to try everything before paying the full amount. GREAT!
What also really surprises me time after time, is the quality of the content that Aweber offers you after you subscribed. They have great tutorials and they offer free content in the form of E books or other digital products.

When i make an email-campaign for my dutch clients, its not possible to set everything in this language. Would be great if this feature will be available in the future.

Fantastic, easy to use, user friendly, it works every time!
Disappointed with AWeber for 2 reasons. 1. The system is not intuitive and although some parts are easy, many features are not. For example, if you want to add social media icons (who doesn't?), this is a multi-step process that requires you to find your own icons, then you have to create individual cells to add them in, then size each cell to look equal (by eye). Its a mess, and I am a graphic professional. This is just one example of many restricting work-arounds I had to do to prepare the couple emails I sent through the system. Despite the frustration of trying to use a system that felt like it was designed by a group not familiar with creating mail campaigns, the reason I left was because it didn't make good business sense. 2. If all your leads are collected individually, you may be okay. For me, my small modest lists that were given to me by associations I'm a part of. The lists were declined. It did not matter that I had no bad marks on my account or that these emails were from individuals in my association, who wanted to hear from me, they just wouldn't allow the lists to be imported due to their strict rules. Their email to me said I had to hand collect individual emails, not have a list provided by an association. If you are someone who does trade shows, you might as well forget this company all together. My regret is investing so much time trying to learn a system that was simply inferior to others, only to learn that I could not use the product after all. I invested time and $29/month for 4 months to send a total of 4 emails. . AWeber was a referral to me as being a product that had low bounce rates which is the only reason I struggled through the software. I gave it an honest attempt and the open rates were really no better than my original campaigns from Mail Chimp. On search for a new product.
I signed up to AWeber by the suggestion of another Internet Marketer. I attempted to set my account to single opt-in instead of double opt-in. I noticed the option wasn't available. I contacted tech support via online chat. I was told that the matter would be resolved and I would receive a response within two hours. I did not receive the email response until the next morning.
The response I received was basically that they still needed to keep my account restricted until they saw a record of usage. I found this completely absurd! I can understand there are people that abuse the service, however, I see no reason to restrict an account without a valid reason.
No one could tell me why my account was restricted except that their automated system makes a determination. I am cancelling my trial account. I refuse to pay for a service that is automatically restricted without any valid reason. Very poor service.

Aweber has gone downhill and complacent. They have basically not changed their user interface in YEARS! They are so large now that their main concern is stopping spammers, so if you have a new account, they will not hesitate to restrict your account for any reason.
I tested out my opt in form with one of my email addresses and my account was put on an "admin hold." I had to call customer support, who removed the hold promptly and refused to tell me what I had did wrong.
After that, I started my ad campaign, and my new subscribers were unable to receive any follow up emails.
I signed up for Getresponse and so far, everything works great. I then closed my Aweber account and will not look back.
Like I said, they are large and complacent and not really interested in new customers because they have tens of thousands already.
Avoid at all costs, not worth the headache and they are too big to care about you.
There are many autoresponder services, but I doubt there are many who come close to delivering such exceptional service as Aweber. They are fast and effective in their communication. They have always helped me find a solution.
I first joined Aweber when I knew nothing about autoresponders, and even with my very limited knowledge, I was able to figure things out. That's how simple they've made their platform.
I work for a nonprofit and have used every email platform on the market and I would never use any of them again thanks to Awebber. The price for nonprofits is spectacular, and the flexibility and simplicity of the site makes my job ten times easier. I was not thrilled at first about having our donors, supporters and event attendees opt in about subscribing to our emails (you can turn that option off) but I actually enjoy it. We have less complaints and our donors are more engaged! Customer service is also helpful it is the first time I have used a platform where I get a live person who will work with me until my questions were answered. Would HIGHLY recommend the service.
Although relatively new to email marketing, AWeber has certainly helped me to get the ball rolling. I have seen the positive results already. It is professional and functions very smoothly. I am still learning the "tricks of the trade", as it were, BUT the support provided is excellent and tutorials are very helpful. Excellent - would recommend to anyone.

I tried a couple other list management services before finally coming to AWeber. They weren't necessarily bad, but AWeber was so far beyond anything I had expected. Their customer service, professionalism, tools and services are amazing! I hope to partner with them for a very long time. And tat's it! They're in this for the long-haul. They plan on being around forever so everything they do is with that long-term relationship in mind and every time I talk to someone there, I can tell that they value my business and want me to be with them through it all.

I'm switching over from Infusionsoft because most of my communication is by email. It has taken a little while to get use to but I like your service and you guys are really focused on one thing, helping companies create the most effective emails, which I like.

Set up an account imported emails went to try and log in the next day come to find out they marked my account as spam and closed it never even got to use the service.

I'm a recent convert to AWeber from another popular service (MC). I can't speak highly enough of their feature set, ease of use and especially their Customer Service. They have an extensive library of tutorials, help articles, etc. I've reached out via email to CS on many occasions and they have always responded with 24 hours...usually within a 2 hour window! There's also a phone number that you can call to speak to someone directly.
Again...I couldn't be happier with AWeber and highly recommended them to anyone!

There are no shortage of tools in the email marketing space that I've seen come and go or try to do what Aweber has done. I've used Aweber for more years than I can remember and have tried the some of the others more out of curiosity than anything else. My experience with ease of use and deliverability will keep me a customer for many years to come. The only thing I'd like to see improved or made a little easier are the list segmenting options/features. Keep up the good work.

Aweber is awesome!! I will use it in my business for many many years to come!! The only criticism I have is I wish they would integrate an ecommerce platform so I can sale my digital products and do my email campaigns all in one place!!
Was a paying Aweber client for sometime and ran into hard times, so I had to switch to another company's Free option. When I switched to free with **** *****, I realized I did not export my list correctly from Aweber. With full intention on returning as a paying customer when my business was doing better financially, I called Aweber to see if they had my list on file still (Only cancelled 30-45 days ago). The man that clearly works overseas said "NO" and the hung up on me! Absolutely stunned and in disbelief. So now I have no list and will not be going back to Aweber.
BAD NEWS. it doesn't work and they make it hard to cancel. Try there phone numbers and they do not work. Rip off. The good reviews must be from friends and family !!!

For what AWeber offers, I have nothing but goof things to say. The graphics on their site are very clear and easy to follow. I am new to online marketing, and the tutorials and telephone support have been exceptionally helpful. Working with them is easy, and problems get solved immediately. I like to talk to human beings when I have a problem and the telephone support is fast, clear, succinct and friendly. When they aren't available in person (I only wish the hours were longer, as I do most of this work in the late evenings), I usually find my answer in the tutorials
