Every time I go in here I never know what to order so I just stand there and try to figure out how to order a strong cup of coffee with cream and sugar. Very trendy business and great decor. I haven't tried the food but what I have seen looks good. Not sure if they will work with people who have allergies Peanut, Tree Nut, Milk, Soy, Gluten, etc.) Pray when you get there Shannon waits on you, she is AMAZING!!

Cafe Mark has a really welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, which is due in large part to the friendly staff. I had a turkey club sandwich, which was delicious. The bacon on it was particularly good. I also had their chai, and I really enjoyed that as well!

Excellent spot to stop for a quick bite off the bike trail. The staff was happy to fill up my water bottles and the bathrooms were really clean. Great coffee and delicious bagels and muffins.

Found this Gem, and I do mean Gem on my way back from a Hiking & Camping Trip to W.V. recently. The Atmosphere, Staff, Coffee & Food were all Fantastic! I ve since turned several other road warriors onto Cafe Mark and keep getting 5 Star Ratings & Thanks. I ve seriously contemplated making the drive from Delaware to Cumberland a few AMs just to have breakfast and coffee.

Did I Mention The Coffee

Cute place I like it. On the second floor there was a couch where others was sitting drinking coffee and reading books. They have board games on a shelf up there as well. Seems like a nice place. I was there for breakfast and ordered "breakfast 37" which was 2 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, and 1 slice of toast (cut in half). Price was good. But I wish there was just a little more food to it. Maybe another piece of toast or some hashbrowns or something. It wasnt much. Barely a snack dispite it sounding like a lot. It was confusing for me as a tourist and non local when I entered. I didnt know if I was supposed to just sit. Or if they seat us or what. Both of my first guesses was wrong. Halfway down the counter on the left you make your order, they give you a number sta d and you sit they bring it too you.

Cafe Mark is a cute, cozy cafe and coffee shop with a good sized menu for breakfast and lunch. Servers and baristas are polite, kind, and professional. The staff handled a slight, mix-up of our order well. Both food and coffee were delicious!

What a chic place in the middle of downtown Cumberland! I was highly disappointed to realize there is no Starbucks in town and GOOGLED coffee shops. CAFE MARK popped right up, so I thought, what the heck, I need caffeine for the rest of this 12 hr drive. What a pleasant surprise! Cafe Mark isn't just a coffee shop, it is an experience. Nestled in a beautiful 2 level historic building, Mark's creates hand crafted coffee beverages and offers a menu bursting with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, breakfast bowl and a pancake with bacon. Delicious and my 2 year old grandson ate almost all of his, which is highly unusual

They have a small menu but everything I have had has been good! They have this peanut butter sandwich with bananas and honey I would reccomend. And then their chicken salad is very good.

Cute place, but forget being served kindly or in a timely fashion. Waited for food for 25 minutes then, when we asked about coffees and food at the counter coffee maker, I was treated rudely and passed off to the cashier who told me to wait in line. I just wanted the coffee we ordered that came with our breakfast. Then, when things slowed down, my sister ordered fruit and 20 minutes later we still didn't get it. We were told the delay is because they are swamped. I understand swamped but it is a fruit cup. And they were not that busy when she ordered. As a visitor to the town, the rudeness and service at this restaurant does not paint a nice picture of the whole town. Food was decent but not great.

I ordered the French vanilla latte, BLT sandwich, and chicken tortilla soup. It was by far the BEST food/drink I've had in the Cumberland area! It's also worthy to note that I grew up around here. I definitely recommend it!

Super cool place. I think it's the only cafe in the area. Drinks are amazing. Staff is young and can get distracted easily, but with a gentle guiding, brought back to focus. And the muffins....? You NEED one in your life!

Great coffee and food. Never had a bad meal here and the coffee is always fresh. Price point is about the same as the other coffee shops near it. Never had to wait too long for my food and the staff is always friendly. Would highly recommend.

The food is great the coffee is gross. Not to mention I over heard the owner mark making a statement that he did not like handicapped people. I thought it was shallow and absolutely ridiculous he would even say a thing like that. My dad is a war hero and is handicapped. People like mark make me sick that he would judge people so quickly because they are handicapped. My dad and many other veterans fought for his freedom and everyone else in our country. I don t feel I want to come to this cafe because of this statement he made. I come to visit my parents often from NC; we won t be supporting this sort of cafe. I would like to give them 0 stars if I could.

Had blueberry French Toast. Amazing! Big, juicy, sweet blueberries, perfectly prepared French toast with some crunchy bits sprinkled on top and a sweet white glaze drizzled over the top. Over the top indeed. And the coffee is really good too. The three folks I was with raved about their breakfasts too.

I had the best blueberry crunch french toast there. drizzled in cream cheese syrup. Others had the omelets & wowed them. Excellent food!! Mgmt was on top of it, asking if they could get anything for us several times. Right after we arrived (when the doors opened) the place had a long line so it gets busy & things probably get crazier but our service & food were top notch & I wanted to go again the next day.

Cozy place for breakfast with a old rustic/industrial classy vibe. They have spacious tables, board games, and books on the second floor. The coffee and food were really good. I tried the Breakfast 37 item on the menu.

We enjoyed two superb large iced chai lattes today! Very refreshing on a humid day! Appreciated the free guest WiFi and clean restroom, too! Plentiful seating and nice ambiance. We re tourists but will visit again when we re next in Cumberland!

Ordered an omelet. The worst I ever had. It was cold on the ends and barely warm in the middle. I ordered right after the person with me but waited 15 minutes and still had to wait while they got silverware. Silverware is not set on the tables so they know they have to bring it to you. Won't go back

Hip, rustic surroundings for good coffee and light bites. Nice location on pedestrian mall with outdoor seating available. Could see a baker making house made treats I'm the back. A nice alternative to the ubiquitous Starbucks.

My absolutely favorite coffee place in Western Maryland, go often enough and they will recognize you and are super friendly. The best food and coffee, great customer service and small town vibe. Love, love, love Cafe Mark!

Loved this place! Great vibes and decor, spacious tables. I got the blueberry crunch French toast which was amazing, and the hubs got the special which was a Chipotle BLT - equally amazing! Also loved the peach smoothie. If you're in the area you must stop for a drink and a bite!

Wonderful gem on a downtown pedestiran mall in Cumberland. We stopped there on Memorial Day, after DelFest. You order your breakfast at the counter and they give you a plastic cup with a # on it so that the servers can find you. It was a sunny morning, so lots of people were sitting outside at one of several tables in the middle of the walk way.

There were tables inside on two floors, too.

We got a chorizo bowl, sausage gravy over home made biscuits with two eggs, and an order of the french toast. All three dishes were home runs! The french toast was a tall, narrow log of wonder bread, soaked overnights, and served with strawberry, blue berry, and banana slices whose fresh fruit flavor popped off the plate! The sausage gravy was creamy, rich, and succulent. The chorizo bowl had a perfect peppery heat, with small bits of peppers and potatoes. All three dishes were excellent!

Staff friendly, attentive, professional, and helpful.

Their house coffee is excellent, too. Cafe Mark has a huge coffee and tea menu, on par with any top coffee shop.

My wife and I strongly recommend Cafe Mark.,
