Good food and a cool space. Definitely needs a good deep clean though. Cool place to be.

Great breakfast place with lots of charsture. It's all vegie so being a vegitarian I am very happy with this place. There is a stage as well for live performances that is very nice to have. It is also in a very trendy nabourhood. Check this place out of you are in the area you will not be disappointed.

Great location on "The Drive" in Vancouver. Quite the experience. Very family friendly. Children have the stage for a play area when not being used by artists and parents can enjoy great food and beverages including plant based food. Try it out .. very relaxing atmosphere

Been coming here for 20 years and I very unimpressed with my experience tonight. I ordered the $14 nachos. It's supposed to be two layers, the first layer was fine. The second layer was literally small broken chips and no cheese. I politely mentioned it curly long haired brunette, who didn't seem to understand my complaint. I asked if they could top it up with some more cheese and normal chips (not the bottom of the bag)...she seemed reluctant. And then came back and advised me that the kitchen was going to be "really nice" and make me another small batch (which is not even what I was asking for) even though I had already "eaten half". Guess what kitchen, if you had made the $14 pile of chips and cheese correctly the first time, I would not have had to send them back. I normally don't complain when I'm unhappy but this situation warranted it and I don't appreciate being patronized by a passive aggressive food runner, or the kitchen for that matter. Nice job deux soleil, you just lost a 20 year customer.

Always great service. I live for the spicy veggie hash with a side of veggie ham and sausage.

Good food, really tasty, and the poetry slam was quite enjoyable.

Can t go wrong with this classic commercial drive hang out! Cheap food, big portions, vegetarian and vegan friendly. I love that they allow little kids to play on the stage. A special place on the drive! Keep doing your thing!

Amazing food and amazing service. Nell took the time to get the specifics of our order. We were curious about chilli and before we even asked, she had a taster ready for us to try. The chilli is THE BOMB! We ended up getting 2 orders of it. We didn t feel rushed and ended up having the perfect breakfast. We will definitely be making this our new breakfast spot.

Had the vegan cheeseburger and it was delish! Also great beer selection

It's a cool cafe with high celling and large blackboards. Just fun to be there!

It's a little messy, coffee was good and it's very reasonable priced. Could make a numbering system for food ordering, would help the house and make service better.

The housing of Vancouver Poetry House is what keeps me coming here. The staff, food, and drinks are almost as amazing as the poetry on Monday nights!

It's ok! A side of fried potatoes and coffee as a vegan option won't break the bank. This place need love !!!!

Inexpensive breakfast place Value for money. Some table service but essentially self serve. Order and pay at the counter, grab your own coffee and food will be brought to your table.

Absolutely waste of money! It is a veggie cafe with all butter filled vegetables! Sometimes their live shows are good however the service and the staff aren't that friendly and we didn't have good time there. Food is extremely greasy. Washrooms aren't clean. Don't recommend it.

You seat yourself and order at the till. They bring you your food though. I like the atmosphere and set up a lot, bench seats are a little hard though. The food was great and the soy latte I had was probably the best soy latte I've ever had!!!

Love this cafe, nearly everything can be made vegan and tons of vegan cookie and dessert options too :)

Good beer. During the daytime it's great. At night they tried to charge cover because there was a live band. I'm guessing the band was not that popular because the place was 70% empty. When we started walking away, they said don't worry about cover. So we had a couple of beers. Like I said. Good beer.

I love it when a vegetarian place is so good that I can take my non vegetarian friends there and they'll still enjoy it.

It's a vegetarian bar and cafe and also the not so secret lesbian hotspot on the drive! Lots of interesting folk passing by cranning their neck to see who else might be in on a given day.
