Last time we were in town, we had to go back the next day and have the exact same meals from the day before. Flew in from Charlotte yesterday, and they were our first stop. We really like the food, plus everything else about the place.

I have been to Benelux a few times now, and maybe I go at the wrong time, but it always seems to me that for the last two hours that they are open, they are thinking about how nice it would be to be closed. Servers spend as much time talking among themselves as to customers, and occasionally seem to go on break entirely.

I have seen them in the normal dinner service as well, and can believe that they're pretty much shot by the end of the evening, and the majority of the time, I'm too late to the party. Food and drinks are pretty decent.

This is a green of a place located in the historic 3rd Ward off Milwaukee.
A must stop.
The chill vibe starts at the door with incredible ambiance and prompt service.
We stopped in on a sunny Tuesday and stayed for 2 hours. Frankly, we didn't want to leave.
Our wait staff was friendly and attentive but not overly so.
The beer and wine list as well as chicks was a mile long with a Little something to please just about every pallet.
We only had drinks this time but will be back for food soon.
Enjoy

Went here with co-workers for lunch. Everyone's meal was very good and tasty. The server was helpful and friendly and the lunch came in a reasonable amount of time. The only complaint is that for the lunch, drink, tax, tip it came to around $18/person, which is a little steep for a weekday lunch. If you don't mind the price, I'd definitely suggest going there.

This restaurant really exceeded my expectation. I had the steak and it tastes awesome. I had a seat at the rooftop and it s great place to chill and relax. The patio umbrella beside my table flew off and the staff was lost and did not know what to do. So just be careful if you happen to visit there on a windy day.

Our sanwiches were unique and delicious. The beer selection was a little overwhelming. The service was comical. We ordered an appetizer that didn't come before our meal. We asked the server about it and she said she'd look into it. When the bill came, still no app. She not only forgot once but twice even after prompting. She did kindly take the app we never got off the bill. The food was good enough that I'd consider going back.

Food was amazing, I ordered the Hodge Podge and banana Nutella waffle. Cappuccino was more bitter than I like but is served with a chocolate square. Shawn (Sean?) was very attentive and quick. 5 stars in my books. Will definitely stop when I am in Milwaukee again.

A great place to grab a quick bite to eat or if you need to hydrate yourself they have the products you need. We stopped in for a quick bit of breakfast but they were done with the breakfast run so we had a couple of sandwiches which my wife and I always split. I highly recommend you stopped in for a bite to eat.

Great Belgium restaurant with awesome beer. Located in Milwaukee's historic Third Ward, just south of downtown Milwaukee. A great deal of outdoor seating. The bacon wrapped meatloaf is wonderful. The hand carved tenderloin sandwich is awesome.

The first time we had the cheese stuffed bitterballen with the curry ketchup, I thought I died and went to superb appetizer heaven.

A bit pricey for me, but well worth the money. Great atmosphere, very rustic.

Love the Mimosa and breakfast. So delicious!

I am editing my orginal review because the last two times I have been here they really were horrible. They made the drink without the stuff I like and they took forever to bring our food or even wait on us. Very disappointed.

Pricey food in a quaint indoor or outdoor setting. There's a lot of restaurants in the area that have the same quality food at more reasonable prices. Other than that, their selection and quality is very good.

This place never disappoints!

This place never disappoints!
Great outdoor porch and roof patio seating with views of shops and business's right in the 3rd Ward area of the city.
The food had a little twist of unique options but suitable for those that don't like a weird menu. Brunch is always popular. A Milwaukee fav.

Horrible service and horrible (overpriced and under portioned) food.
It's pretty sad when we leave hungry, wishing we hadn't tried a new restaurant.

My mom, sister and niece were here today around 3:30/4pm. I ordered the Pesto "noodles", my mom a burger, my sister the Bacon wrapped meatloaf, and my niece the kids mac and cheese.
I will list my problems for your reading convenience, because there are so many.
Firstly, our waitress was short with us and not very friendly to begin with.
1. Our food was brought out, and my sister found her meatloaf to be VERY undercooked. Not okay for ground beef!
2. My mom's burger had literally nothing on it. No cheese, nothing. Just the patty and the bun.
3. My brioche with my meal was hard as a rock and was impossible to eat
4. My niece's mac and cheese was very overcooked and was complete mush.
All of this and our waitress is nowhere to be found. We were not checked in on once. Not once to express our dissatisfaction and ask for something else. We ate and only when we were finished for some time, she came back and collected our plates, not even asking if everything was okay. She only asked if we wanted anything else, like dessert. We tipped her 10% and left.

We were always friendly and nice, however we were obviously unsatisfied when she did not come back until she collected our plates and (with food still on them) she did not pick up on our unhappiness. We didn't say a word, so I'm wondering if she simply was oblivious or was pretending not to notice so she didn't have to deal with unhappy customers.
We were not told any sort of "goodbye", "thank you", or "come again" as we left even though we passed several employees at the front desk.

Wonderful restaurant. Thanks decor is fun. If you are able, sit upstairs on the outdoor deck. The views are stupendous. Large selection of craft beers. Many local and regional as well. They have an ice fest with several other establishments February.

Very cool location and layout. The food felt rushed, however, and my burger came out almost tartare when I asked for well done - no exaggeration. The chicken sandwich was ok, but not really remarkable or memorable. Probably a nice place for drinks and simple 'bar food'.

Great beer list and the rooftop is a must in the summer. The place is huge, so seating isn't terribly hard to come by.

Get a Delirium if you haven't had it.

Great brunch food. You'll be stuffed by the large portion most of their items come with.

I've been here many times over the last few years. Food always seems to be underwhelming. Last time I ordered a burger medium rare and it came out well-done. They have a big list of bottled beers. The draft beer list is lacking. Most of the drafts seem over priced and there are few hoppy options. I also don't understand why they never have many local beers on draft. Overall, they seem to coast on their location (which is admittedly great).

Another great cafe from the good people of the Lowlands Group. A massive ammount of taps, bottled beer, spirits and cocktails available to accompany a great menu of breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner items. In the warmer months the rooftop becomes a great place to enjoy the city.

I had a great ladies night out all thanks to our amazing server Savannah! She was so quick and helpful and very personable! Amazing customer service and I barely remember what the food taste like, but know I would go back just to see her again! Thank you Savannah for the amazing service and experience you curated for us!

We were seated on their rooftop and sat their about 15 minutes while the waitress walked right past us as we tried to get her attention and waited on all the people around us. Disappointing. Wonderful cocktails and drinks however this isn t the first time we have been seated and not served for an extended period of time.
