I've been here before when you saw some of the manufacturing process... Now it's just a money making exercise to strip you of your cash. The demos were unexciting and queues everywhere. Even the cafe was expensive. Your better buying a loads of chocolate and giving it to the kids, saving the trip, expense and waste of money. This is what happens when an American company takes over a national institution. Such a disappointment.

Very short tour, took us an hour, and not very interesting for children who can't read yet. Was raining outside and there is no indoor playbarn or anything for little ones so we ended up just going home. Would love to see a little more for kids apart from sugar.

Visit was decent but very crowded. It's not a big as I thought it would be. There's a kids play area outside, a 4D cinema which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the bournville experience. Was mostly museum like about the history of Cadbury.

The exhibition itself I didn't enjoy very much. You are made to sit and watch two videos about chocolate and Cadbury throughout the years, origins of chocolate, etc. Wouldn't say it's good for children, but people insist on bringing them in anyway.

After the theatre, you are slowly funnelled through a corridor where you read stuff, queue to write in chocolate, queue for the green screen, queue for the car ride, and queue to get out. We couldn't do the activities because the queues were horrendous and there were screaming kids everywhere.

I'd only recommend going on a weekday if you can get the time off work. That way, you avoid the entitled parents, long queues and crowds. Probably wouldn't visit this place again. It wasn't as great as it's hyped up to be.

Waited 50years to go here wanted to go when I was ten. so at 60 my partner paid for us to go on my birthday. I was so disappointed. Was given 4 bars of chocolate, a 5min talk, a shaking bench, a walk around a corridor not seeing any thing. Was given a small container of melted chocolate. A ride on a car for children and had a photo taken. Ending at the shop which everything cost twice as much as what you would get in a supermarket. Saw no where to eat. Was going to go into Birmingham to have a meal for my birthday but to top the visit off we had to change wheel on car in the car park as we had a puncture it became a expensive waste of a day.

This was a great day out, we learnt so much, enjoyed a ride and saw a small 4d movie, we spent about 5 hours here, we didn't rush around like most people. All though the weather was so wet outside, there was plenty to do inside. There was plenty to do for all ages. The staff were fantastic with our special needs child, and understood her. It was clean, tidy and the prices were not over the top for food and drinks like most places.

It was ok, I personally won't be visiting again but would say to others to visit just so they can say they have been. You basically walk through the factory reviving chocolate, get on a ride and then end up at the play ground. Good for kids? sure. but parents will be bored out of their minds.

Cadbury world in my opinion has run its course, entrance fees aren't cheap and you only get to see part of the packaging area but there are interactive areas for the children to entertain themselves, you now only get 4 small bars of chocolate for your admission price and the factory shop does not always offer good value, the restaurant isn't reasonable either. Come on Cadburys time for a rethink.

Not as good as it used to be - you don t get to make fresh chocolate anymore. They just give you 2-3 bars.

Bit boring, not worth the full price. Thankfully had a railcard discount otherwise meh.

Fun for kids as there s a ride and new interactive installation area. Realistic would rate it 2.5 if I could.

Family and I really enjoyed this experience. As our tickets were booked after 2:30pm on a Saturday we had to arrive earlier to enjoy the 4d cinema, children's outdoor play area and character show. We waited about 30 minutes to enter the 4d cinema which was a highlight of the experience.

Before the tour temperatures were taken and we were given lots of chocolate bars; wispa's, curly wurly's and dairy milk. The tour consisted of the history of chocolate, history of cadbury's, drawing with melted chocolate, demonstration of chocolate making, green screen photo op, cadabra small ride, small pot of melted chocolate with 2 toppings, displays of old adverts and a small game area. Theres a cadburys gift shop and the indoor cafe was closed.

Overall we had a pleasant experience and my child enjoyed it. Its something thats nice to visit once but I probably wouldn't return.

Amazing attraction, so much chocolate they provided through out the day. We had a discounted deal as students, great prices to come see this factory. I really wanted to do the afternoon tea but maybe next time. It is worth to travel all the way to Birmingham.

Kids love it and all the treats! Educational and you go at your own pace. We came early (10 a.m.) and could go at our own pace. Food is a bit dear but we always take a pack up and the children enjoy the at area.

Good day out, although plan for half a day onsite and worth using the rest of the time to wander round Bourneville and its parks. Well worth a visit, and while not the best factory tour I've done still plenty to learn

This is definitely one for the kids, the tour portion is fairly short, and you don't spend any time in or viewing production areas which I seem to think you did when I visited as a child (although that was a fair while ago now), although the first part is very good, as well as the 2 show rooms. One really nice touch is the subtitling of the videos, and the signing of each video portion too, more attractions should do this by default

You get a few free samples which is always good and it did seem to keep the kids entertained.

The vehicle ride portion is pretty weird and could have probably been better themed, o have no clue what it was about, and with the size of the queue, honestly I'd skip it in future.

The 4D theater outside near the playground was also excellent.

I'd just like to see more exhibits of older chocolate wrappers and promotional items, which I'm sure the Cadbury company must have someplace. I hoped the bourneville experience might have had this but it is a fairly small collection.

It would also be nice to be able to go more in detail of the process of making g chocolate as that's mainly glossed over apart from a basic overview In the second theater.

It was still good, but I expected more. If I was a young child Im sure I'd have enjoyed it more, but appealing to adults as well surely can't hurt sales.

It's mainly for kids aged 2 to 4 years...beyond that can be boring as there is only 1 ride and the rest is all movies on how cadbury world came into being and there is a play area which kids love....not worth going all the way from London

Interesting and enjoyable but too long waiting about in the cold and wind in queues for other attractions there till tour started. Of course it won't always be cold and windy - just my experience at the beginning of February.

Hearded in like cattle never got to enjoy most of the tour as had 100+ people behind us. Really didn't enjoy it. I got to 33years old and never been my expectations where so high and I come out deflated.

Good day out, plenty to do. Went on a Sunday and was still busy, food is pretty good, staff are lovely.
Only down side are the queues, also found that the 'cadabra' ride wasn't really worth the 40 minute wait.

Shop obviously full of chocolate with bargain section. Outdoor play area for children. If you like chocolate you can't go wrong!!
