Really good clam chowder. The service was a bit rushed, but everyone for the most part was wonderful! Will definitely come back, and for a restaurant handling covid-19 guidelines, they are doing a great job!!

Went here with a group of friends and we all left highly disappointed. Service was decent a lot of young inexperienced teens/ students for wait staff and hostesses. My biggest complaint was the food way too salty it was awful. Ordered lobster bisque and it had way too much vinegar. Stuffed shrimp was a huge disappointment, way too salty couldn't even eat the stuffing. Once you did scrape it off the shrimp was good, the vegetables and potatoes were salty as well. When we told the waitress that we were not satisfied with our meal she said "yeah I figured you wouldn't" we just looked at het like why didn't you say anything. She said "yeah the food here is really salty." Then she still charged us the full price not even taking anything off because we told her we weren't satisfied. I will never be back.

Hands down best pizza in New England I know that's a long shot but my wife and I are serious Pizza eaters it is amazing in our kids love coming here because of the little toy chest and we love coming here for drinks it's a perfect spot to swing by when you're at the waterfront

Love the decks, closest to water with water view with good food. Love the pork chop and jambalaya the first time. Went there the second time to get the pork chop, but was disappointed that they did not offer the same vegetable. Depending on the night...the veggies are different. Jambalaya was not as good as the first time. Perhaps it was later in the night. The service was good on the deck the first time, but the second time was a bit slow. Not sure if it was later in the eveing and the upper deck. Overall, good service, food and view.

Just saw Cabby Shack on Cooking Channel on Best Things I've Ever Eaten...it reminded us that we ate there multiple times years ago while on vacation in Plymouth! Now we realize why no other Chowdah has ever measured up!!!

Food was decent. Venye ok. Agreed to move tables for private party. Our first Waitress moved us to a new table. The new waitress was quite rude and upset (obviously bc she wanted new business there) and actually asked us to move! Bad move by her. Clearly poorly trained. Lost out on very good tipper. (Ask the first waitress) By the way, place wasn't even busy. Poorly done.

I ordered togo the famous claim chowder and fish and chip. Claim chowder is unacceptably delicious. The taste is rich, fresh and condense. Otherwise, I consider fish and chip for $15. Its fried powder and the texture is same as other fast food restaurants. Next time, I'll only go for claim chowder.

Live music on the weekend, incredible seafood, great ambiance and beautiful view right on the water. Place was packed on a Saturday so we passed the time at the bar. Service was fast and courteous. Great experience overall.

Nice casual atmosphere right on the water. The live music was great. The calamari was delicious and drinks were decent. The service was a little slow... 35 minutes to get the calamari appetizer, but nice people.

Not the best or the worst visit we've ever had tonight. Food was good. Didn't get our drinks until after our food came our waiter had to many tables. Nice music and atmosphere. Walk to cup cake Charlie's made everything all better.

Great food, the calamari was perfection. Tender not greasy with a hot pepper. We split the mac and chees burger whicg was pleanty for 2. Burger was large , juicy and mac and cheese was fantastic. Atmosphere is casual with pleanty of outdoor seating right on the water.

The food was okay, some was even pretty good but the swarms of flies around the restaurant was very off putting. Also the bathroom was dirty and rather run down. For a place that has been visited by food network and phantom gourmet you really think it would be better

Food was average, service was terrible. We waited almost 2hrs for our food, thankfully the bartenders are friendly, but management makes it very clear that they don't care about customer service. There are many better options on the Plymouth waterfront. Skip this one until management changes!!

After a few hours on the water( capt.johns boats) needed to eat, wanted to be seated&served, not order then sit, cabby shack looked the place to go for that and it did satisfy, fried clams were the best I have ever eaten, fried to perfection, and plentiful, the chowder was excellent, the wife had a seafood plate,it was awesome, drinks were good, staff was great, outside deck was great, never rushed to leave,we highly recommend this place and look forward to going back. This place was also highly recommended by the phantom gourmet show.

The clam chowder here is "died and went to heaven" good. Very creamy with generous chunks of clam and lobster, it certainly deserves the praise it receives. We came here with an international group of visitors and they chose to have the boiled lobsters, which everyone agreed was large and delicious. Our only complaint was we were told that we needed to wait 30 mins for a table but once inside to have a drink at the bar we noticed that most of the restaurant was empty. We approached the hostess again to complain and she seated us immediately.

Good prices! Had an excellent haddock ruben. It was terrific, came with a good pickle and I ordered fries to "beef it up" That was completely unnecessary. The sandwich was excellent and filling. Good place and good service. Good value

I had gone out to dinner with some family who was visiting me from Northern Ma. I have a seafood allergy, but my family loves seafood which has never been a problem going out in Plymouth prior. Initially when sitting down we put in for an order of Nachos. When putting in for a food order I informed them of my seafood allergy so as to ensure the chicken order I was placing was not fried in the same oil as the seafood. Our server informed us that all of their fried products are mixed with seafood and they have no separate fryer. They also informed us the nachos are made in that fryer. I then ordered a chicken cesar salad as it had grilled chicken. Then halfway through my dinner I felt an itch in my throat and inquired and they informed me that the cesar salad dressing is made with anchovies even though she informed me my order to the kitchen expressly stated a seafood allergy. The nachos my family was able to have they informed me I wasn't missing much. My family members who ordered side salads recieved them with their meals rather than prior as well. Nothing was comped and it was just a bad experience overall which is unfortunate because it has always looked liked a fun nice place and we waited over an hour just to get in.

Our first time sitting and eating at a restaurant ...

Our first time sitting and eating at a restaurant since the lock down and I don't get how only wearing a mask while walking to your table is protecting anything but I digress.

Our server Katie, was great, attentive and friendly. You need a QR reader to see the menu on your phone, OK I get that it's fine but brings you to drop box and the format wasn't really great for reading on a small phone. Now onto the food, many of the entrees were way overpriced and wind up ordering fish and it was OK but a bit over cooked and mine was barely warm and it was one of the specials. Others in the party had seafood casarole and a captains platter, they said it was just OK.

I know the restaurants are hurting because of being shut down for such a long time but to try to make back all your money in a couple of nights by overcharging for things just not right. The atmospher is decent not a very upscale place which is another reason why I was surprised how pricey it was. The dining room was loud even though only a few other tables were occupied. We could not even hold a conversation it was that loud. All in all it was just good to get out for the first time with our friends.

The food was good- but seafood expensive and could have been better. The alcohol beverage was tasty normally priced for the area. I think the side bar is the place to hang out opposed to dining in. Better places in town.

I would give this restaurant is zero if that was possible they are lucky to get one star from me. I took my friend out here for her birthday. I got the fish and chips the food that would usually take approximately 15-30 minutes to cook was out in 5 minutes. I could tell it was leftover food and it was microwaved. The squash looked wrinkly & old. The meal was at not all appetizing.
I feel the staff was not pleasant, but our waitress was good.
4 hours after I ate the meal I came down with food poisoning; I was sick for 2 days.

I will never in my lifetime return to The Cabby Shack!

Real ginger beer makes the drinks here extra tasty. Tuna sampler was delicious, as was the surf and turf. Ranch dressing is awful, but this is not a place to be ordering ranch dressing either.
