The food was amazing. Seafood fresh off the boat. Friendly, lively atmosphere, staff makes you feel like family.

Fun casual place with music and activities like 80's rock bingo. I had a salmon dinner that was fresh and spicy, a zesty salad and a killer chocolate dessert. Good service too.

The chowder here lives up to the hype. Thick, creamy, big chunks of meat and very tasty. Service was excellent. Onion rings were fresh and crispy. I have never regretted the decision to eat at the Cabby Shack.

Third and final time going to this place. If you're reading this, go to The Blue Eyed Crab or the Pillory Pub! Save yourself the trouble!
During my first trip in March 2017, I sat at the bar. My fish fry was okay and the service was alright. It was a slow day so I figured it was excusable.
We came back for my brother's rehearsal dinner on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Maria and Trisha were amazing servers and the food was amazing that night!!!
Why the one star then? Our third and definitely our last time in the restaurant left us all angry, upset and with a ruined final day of vacation. All we wanted was to have a great last meal before catching our flight back home. Thanks CabbyShack for totally disappointing us. You advertise one thing on the menu and totally deliver an inferior product and when the bill comes out, it is more than it's listed price. When asked to fix it, instead of apologies or anything of the nature, we got excuses and were told we were in error. If the menu says a souvenir cup is $6.95 extra then it should be $6.95 not $8.95. It was a simple mistake that should've been resolved easily. Unfortunately though, your establishment does not cater to the customer. Jim/Joe Winn, the manager (?), and the server with a billion bracelets on (health code violation) were rude and not helpful. As we were leaving, we were given a $10 gift card after we explained that we would never be coming back again. (We should've given it to one of the poor suckers that were already inside.) Thanks for the pathetic attempt to rectify the situation.

Crowded on the weekend so long wait unless you want to stand. Music was good though!

My wife and I make it our mission to try and find the best clam chowder on the east coast. So far, 20-30 eateries from Cape Cod to Salem, this place remains #1 by far. The rest of the menu is delicious and fairly priced, but the Chowdah...... Bar none the best we've had!

Back a year later. Special side trip from our annual Boston trip specifically for this place. Chowda is even better than I remember! OMG it is amazing!

So much fun. The music the atmosphere, the people. It was very enjoyable.

Water front dining. Food was good. Great view of the waterfront if you sit on the upstairs top deck. The palm trees reminded me of Florida.

Im from out of town and happened to be here on a busy night but the service was great and it was a fun lively atmosphere. One of the wonderful bartenders named Jill was absolutely incredible, her great attitude and service insured everyone had a great time.

The best food, drinks, and atmosphere. First place we come every time we visit Boston. The clam chowder is the best!

30 minute wait, kinda busy walked around the busy boardwalk.. got texted table was ready. Friendly waitress, and nice staff, Very busy place. Cool decor, nice deck for eating. Music, live d.j. came later that night. Food was good, vibe was great.. drinks could have been stronger. Huge menu with many options for different taste and price ranges. I would go back.

Wait staff is awesome and attentive. Kaitlin our waitress took her time and made sure we were all taken care of.

Love the view and indoor/outdoor option. Crab cakes are excellent, you can taste the freshness! Service was superb!

Look forward to finishing up out summer vacation from Virginia here with great seafood

Great veiw with food for everyone. Dont expect an amazing meal. But the veiw will take your meal to that 5 star level

It was delicious service so nice the burger had an amazing mac and cheese I have to try to force it in my cousin's mouth the fried shrimp was delicious shrimp cocktail which I never get with shrimp And free refills on my God this place is amazing definitely infinity Stars you must come here when you come to cape cod how do you want Jake as a server he's so nice you must come.

The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. We got no water nor bread. When I asked why, I was told that it was because of what we ordered. I guess you have to order more than $45 for them to give you bread and water. I was surprised because the table behind my wife had 7 people and they all had a glass of water and bread. My table had only 2 people. Also, the food was ok but nothing worth going back for. Horrible service.

Chowder is top notch - if for no other reason stop by and have a cup / bowl - it will not disappoint.

Great experience over St. Patty's Day Weekend with friends. Food was fantastic, staff was fun. Yummy No Judgement Mimosas Quinoa salad was SO good!

Phenomenal clam chowder...bar none. The buy one get one needs to be worded differently. Three people bought four pizzas and we got 10 dollars off...what a jip. I would have ordered something different like seafood or something. We ordered the pizza for price and they were small for the price. They were decent on taste, and the bar keep wasn't the most friendly, but I did give it a four star review, please let this know just how good it was, I shouldn't give it that kind of rating but I did...try the chowder

We went there in summertime, bar was fun, drinks were great, barstaff were cheerful and quick. One thing: If they boil lobsters, why cant they boil crabs. We asked about crabs and they said they only box them live for takeout. We were so excited to be there for crab. Boss not very friendly when asked about it, just no, we don't serve them. Why Not???

Great food higher prices than others but worth it for fresh quality tastefully done right

If I were leaving a review for just their clam chowder, it would be 5 stars easily. Unfortunately, that chowder is the only positive thing I've experienced on a regular basis. I've had disgruntled or aloof wait staff numerous times. It's a party bar with live music. I suppose good for families in the day time as well because kids love the decorations of fish and birds.

I love love love this place. Every trip to Massachusetts for work I have to go to get my chowder fix!

Eclectic seaside atmosphere. Loud, wild, crazy and fun! Ample menu selections, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Parking can be difficult but patience pays off. You'll enjoy it!

fish is their thing- over crowed as ALWAYS,please tell me the attraction to this dive,perhaps I've over looked something -limited free parking

It's been 4 years and I'm still thinking about this place, best "Chowdah" I've ever had!

Chowda is the best. Spoon stands straight up in the middle of the cup or bowl and you can taste the cream that makes it so rich. We went for lunch the first day and just had bowls of chowda but went back the next night for dinner. I had a petite sea food platter that i could not begin to finish. Clams, shrimp, scallops and a beautiful piece of haddock along with fries and onion rings that I could not begin to eat. It was outstanding. Hubby had haddock and chips and said it was excellent. Great service. This is a big, always busy, restaurant and even though we went on a Saturday night with no reservation we were seated immediately. If you love seafood the CabbyShack is the best.

This place is the very best for seafood and more. No matter if it is baked, broiled, fried, steamed, it is some of the best seafood you can eat. They also have burgers, salads, meatballs and pizza. The clam chowder is spectacular.

Great seafood. Great atmosphere.. Outside upper and lower dining deck facing the bay/ marina. Bit expensive but good. Right amid the action-

Incredible view, music and food! Lovely staff. Recommended by everyone I met. Oh and you must have the Chow-dah! Then once you've stuffed yourself enjoy a walk on the jetty

CLAM CHOWDER FROM HEAVEN! I didn't think I would ever enjoy clam chowder as much, but the thick creamy version CabbyShack offers is to die for.

In all honesty the money I spent for 2 adults an 2 children came out to be like 160 with tip, the food was bland. Their drinks didnt even get us buzzed. Do yourself a favor, turn ya ass around an go to woods. You'll thank me later

Didn't have the drink we had had before and the waitress was as far from exceptional that you can get. Food was pretty good and the drinks we did get were decent.

Popular place! We would have loved to dine here but they wait was too lengthy for us. I ve heard great things so can t wait to try!

Great view, food was awesome drinks just ok, had to send them back. First drinks ground level and margaritas were awesome and then for dinner deck side drinks were sent back.

I take my family to this restaurant quite often! This is the best place to eat. I visit this spot frequently. The meals are great, the team is helpful and the price is decent. I like being in this place to have a decent meal.

I had the sole specialty over angel hair pasta. They were out of sole so they substituted haddock. It was delicious. Great service and they even had 70's bingo and we won a gift card. Tons of fun!

This was my first time here and I must way that the food was very good. We ordered for an appetizer the General Tso Cauliflower. This was very good very light batter and great tasting. For Entrees my wife and I ordered the clam chowder Bread bowl and the meatloaf wrapped in bacon with mixed veggies and loaded backed potato. The meatloaf was a little bland but the rest of the food was very good. I also had the banana cream pie martini that was so good that I ended up having 2 of them. Overall this was a very good place to eat and would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for good food.

The chowder is outstanding, which is what gives it the 3 stars. Probably the best in plymouth. Everything else is mediocre

Update: Giving them an extra star from my original 3 star review because the service has gotten alot better and that pirates of the caribbean mixed drink that they make was delicious as well!!

The strawberry daiquiris are made with the island oasis machine and they are the best! I come from VA for them, but I also get to see my Plymouth family, lol.

Ordered a large lobster roll. It came on a roll that had green mold all on one side of it. Disgusting. We will never go there again. We showed our server but she didn't seem to care. You could tell it was not remade and they just scooped the inside from out of the completely moldy one and put it in a different roll. No thanks.
