The band I play in was verbally and physically threatened by members of their staff with no prior provocation from us band members (it was due to a lack of communication between the front of hall manager and the rest of their staff members). The food was good at best (not well priced in some cases); No one deserves to be treated like that...

Went for an early lunch with my husband..service & food was amazing!!! They follow guidelines to a T and couldn't be happier that we went here. Always one of our favorite spots... Had a few cold ones, some delicious onion rings, my husband had the clam chower (if you dont get the chowder it's a crime against humanity... i mean it... this is the thickest and best tasting chowder you will ever have...AND YOU CAN GET IT IN A BREAD BOWL...need I say more?) and the fish sandwich.. Normally I get something fried but changed it up today and tried the tuna rice bowl..... oh my lanta.... amazing. It's a must!!!

The food is amazing we shared the fisherman's platter which is huge and the light batter makes the seafood flavor really pop. I also had the Buffalo grilled cheese and loved it such a unique twist to 2 classic dishes. Last time I had the chowder and crabcake burger both to die for.
The location is great right near the water with resort style indoor outdoor bar vibe complete with live entertainment.
This place is an instant favorite for me will visit every time we're in Plymouth.

Horrible policy experience there, we were seated at the bar was greeted by the bartender. We were asked if we wanted anything to drink I gave her my selection of alcoholic beverage apparently there's a policy in place she said unfortunately can't give you the beverage until I order food... first of all I wasn't planning on ordering food my date was ordering I was just going to have a drink share what she was eating. So I was forced to order a cup of chowder ....Was ok... service was slowwww,

After seeing Plymouth Rock, we stopped at The CabbyShack for Lobster Mac and Cheese, Roast Beef Sandwich and Fries, Flatbread Pizza and Gorgonzola Walnut Salad! All delicious! Enjoyed the view from the deck and the music! Extremely helpful staff and fun drink menu!

Some people can't seem to judge a place. It's very easy to see this place is a casual, mainly seafood spot overlooking the water. Yes, it's touristy, but like most things in life if you keep things realistic and in perspective, you'll know what to expect and will not be let down. It isn't and doesn't bill itself as "exquisitely fine dining".... It specializes in typical casual seafood dishes - fried, broiled, rolls, chowder, burgers, etc. It's priced as a normal person would expect a summery, seafoody, touristy place to be priced. It wasn't cheap but also wasn't overpriced. My wife, myself and 5 year old went twice over 3 days because the food was fresh, it was convenient and had a nice view. Lobster rolls were fresh - not the best - but satisfying and filled "fairly". I had a crab cake sandwich which was basic but also was priced basic. The fried calamari was tender, but the mixed drinks were a bit weak but priced strong. You can walk-in wearing shorts, a t-shirt and sneakers, so it made a for a good, fast lunch spot. Waitresses were pleasant, service was good enough and we were there to have a tasty, casual bite, enjoy ourselves and chose not to compare it to Select Oyster Bar in Boston because it's apples and oranges. Go in expecting what it really is and you shouldn't be disappointed. We're from Long Island so we know good seafood, but the key is to set the proper expectations - it's not "fine" seafood - it's "lunch" seafood. I see people stating "it wasn't worth it" but the prices weren't outrageous, so what wasn't worth it? Two adults and a 5 year old averaged $55 over two visits (with 1 alcoholic drink and one lobster roll each time). We can't go to Applebee's for much less. What are people expecting? No, I have no affiliation to the restaurant but I dislike two-sentence reviews that bash a place without supporting their opinion. I sometimes read reviews before going and tend to expect more effort by people - my mistake. FYI...Due to our lovely environment today, there are no menus. You need to scan a QR code on your phone and it will bring you to their menu.

A lovely and friendly environment for the family and friends. The food is delicious and refreshing. Amazing events like karaoke night. The staff is excellent and the bar is wonderful. Hope to be back there soon.

A real tourist trap. Service excellent but food was not. The chowder was thickened with cheese or some other binder and was really bad despite "world's best" billing. The fried seafood tasted as if it had been frozen and was served dark brown... over-cooked. If in Plymouth, you can do much better at a dozen other restaurants.

It's a good restaurant to hit up when you want seafood. I was here in November, and as you could imagine, it was nice and quiet on a Thursday night. I can only imagine how busy this place gets in the summer.

Went there as a treat with my two daughter's and it was HORRIBLE. Three girls behind counter had no clue where to seat us, picking at thier faces (gross) sat at the table for 15 min without being noticed, then another 15 minutes waiting for drinks. Worst part is when the food came! The waitress already brought our food to two other tables! The "crabby shack" roll was a disgusting pile of tuna on a peice of bread smaller than my hand, nachos appetizer was a pile of dry chips with melted mozzarella cheese at the bottom with one spoonful of sour cream, delivered with no extra plates, waitresses all walking around looking ridiculous with sunglasses on inside. This place ruined my trip to Plymouth. Go to Lobster Hut!

This place was shockingly good.

This place was shockingly good.

We stared with ceaser salads, which were very bad (and I was super worried, because the place looked like it would have bad food). They were clearly the low-end pre-packaged salad fixings you'd get at a cafeteria.

I had a fish sandwich with onion rings, both if which were very good. After the salads I was expecting those panko coated, pre-fried, frozen things and I was super surprised to get something tasty! Both were light and crispy. The fish was thick and meaty, and it wasn't over cooked.

My girlfriend had the seafood Newburg, which was wonderful. The scallops in particular were cooked perfectly, and the lobster ravioli had real lobster in it (not the one you usually get with the creamy puree).

I'll definitely go back, I just won't get the salad :)

Excellent food, terrific waitstaff, great atmosphere. Well worth the drive from anywhere to come here. Could not ask for a better meal. When you come here, ask to be seated in Olyvia's tables!

This place is a total rip off $17 for seven scallops, 6 onion rings and fries. Not worth it at all. I work in the Restaurant industry I understand food cost and labor cost. You are rip a off to the public!!! Just a tourist trap. A waste of money!!

Food was good, drinks were great, our waitress was very sweet but extremely slow. Not attentive at all. She only had 2 tables but we barley saw her. It seemed like we were bothering her just by sitting in her area. We kept having to ask other waitresses for things since we couldn't find her. The other wait staff were fabulous. They gave us a free desert because it was our wedding night. Very sweet of them. We always tip 30% especially during Covid when we know things are harder on everyone. I just wish i knew the tip went to the staff that took care of us. The "manager " saw how frustrated we were getting as well as the other group sitting near us but didn't step in. I have been to cabbyshack before and had great experiences but this just left a bad taste in our mouths. Just to give you an idea of how slow it was, when we had asked for boxes she didn't bring them back for 45 minutes. It wasn't busy at all.

I really enjoyed the Crabby Shack. It had a cool atmosphere and very good food. I went with a friend with a gluten allergy and our waitress took it very seriously. She communicated to the chef and they made sure my friend was safe. I really appreciate the care they took. I thought my fish was excellent and the clam chowder was the best I ever had. I can't say enough good things about this place.

We had a large party of 5 adults and 7 kids. We had walked Plymouth for over 8 hrs and were hungry, exhausted and a little crabby. We were seated immediately and the service was excellent. Jake was our server and even the kids said he deserved a big tip. He treated them just the same as the adults and even when we had a spill at the kids table, he helped clean it up with a smile. Best restaurant we ate at while visiting. Highly recommend the seafood scampi, it was well worth the money! We all left extremely full and smiling.

After calling hours prior about call ahead seating, were told for at least 1 person to arrive and put our name in 45 minutes early...We get there, told the hostess the rest of our party would arrive with in the half hour. They texted our table was ready 10 minutes later...and then proceeded to say if our party wasn't here, they couldn't seat us and our table was given away. Never will I recommend or give my money here...and I didn't even get a chance to try the food

Visited on a very cold November Saturday, the chowder was delicious and warmed me up. The food here is great. The waitresses are very warm and welcoming. Quite crowded and can get a little noisy. Is a bit expensive but the food is worth the price. Located on the Plymouth waterfront which is a beautiful location. Would love to come back.
