Never, ever, EVER do business with Corey Brown or his property management company. I have battled them for years managing one simple property for me as I lived outside the Maryland. They neglected repairs, neglected to keep me informed about the state of the property, lied to the tenants, lied to me on many occasions, mismanaged funds regularly and overall provided an unprofessional service. I give them ONE star because I can't give ZERO or negative stars.

C Brown collected rent at my rental property for 2 mos and has never sent a penny to me. This is after many meetings and emails. I have terminated the contract and will be filing a complaint with the Maryland State Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR). They are thieves and liars.
By far the worst property management company we have ever dealt with. Maintenance issues are NEVER solved within the time frame they provide, there is a complete lack of care for the well being and safety of the tenants. A few examples of the big issues we had with them: A/C unit broke down in early September of 2016, it was finally fixed in March of 2017. Basement flooded due to a clog in A/C filtration unit, 3 pieces of furniture were lost due to mold buildup because it took them 2 weeks, from the day we reported the issue, to the day someone finally came and cleaned the carpets. When I expressed my concerns about mold and air quality after having a wet basement for over 2 weeks, the OWNER of the company had the finest to say "you breathe mold every day", realized he made a mistake and finally came the following day to "inspect" for mold, he raised the carpet that was left cut up, unpadded and unsecured back onto the base boards, and said, there no mold this is perfectly fine, we are not going to do anything else to fix it. The freezer broke down and was not cooling properly, made the report in early November, by Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the whole refrigerator broke down, made every effort to contact them just like with the flooding, but no one responded to any of my calls, voicemails, emails and calls to the "emergency" contact they provided. You will not have peace of mind or certainty that anything will get fixed or that you will be somehow compensated for your inconveniences. They will not show or express any real concern to try and make things better for you. Again, this is by far the worst property management agency I have EVER dealt with.
We hired this company to manage a couple of rentals for us. Although the management agreement stated that we would received monthly accounting and that rental funds would be wired to us on a specific date of the month that did not happen on a regular basis if at all. We received complaints from the tenants regarding C Brown customer service. We ended the relationship with this company due to not receiving monies that they collected from the tenants for rent and not sending to us. I would not recommend using this company for property management.
They started off managing one of my properties for them and it went ok for the first year or two. I have multiple properties and was about to talk to them about taking on more when the bottom fell out.
One; they stopped paying me rent on time. Claimed it was because tenants were paying late. I went and visited my tenants and looked at all of their receipts and time stamps that stated they were paid on time. This continued for 6 months until the end of their contact.
Two: Communication - I could not get the actual people on the phone and they sure would not meet with me after multiple visits and phone calls. The closest I ever got was having their administrator put them on speaker phone for me at their office. Complete run around.
They stopped doing the inspections that were in their contract and stopped reporting calls from the tenants to me that that repairs were needed. Thankfully the tenants had my phone number as well and after a period of time they called me directly.
In conclusion I finally came to realize that they are cash poor and were using money from one client to pay another and because of that they were always behind.
Over the last 2 months I have called CBrown Properties many times to schedule a viewing for several different properties they had advertised online. 10 or more times I have called and .approximately 6 voice messages I have left. They have never returned one! I just recently sent an email requesting a viewing of one of their properties because the open house was at a time I couldn't make due to work(10:30 am) . I left my information and what times I was available, asking if we can schedule a time other than that to view the property. 4 days later they responded to the email and gave me two more times I could not make. I gave them my schedule. It is clear that work prevents me from meeting at an open house on a weekday morning!!!!. If it takes this much to give them money for a property, I can only imagine what would happen if I was already giving them my rent money and needed to address any issues with a property. Check the internet. I'm not the only one complaining and apparently, this behavior isn't new. Dont rent from them and don't let them manage your properties.
BEWARE. This is a PROBLEM company, this company does not operate as a normal business as the owner have other motives other than generating legitimate income.

I utilized C Brown Property Management to remodel my kitchen and was beyond delighted with the process and the results. I received bids from other renovation contractors and when compared with those other bids, C Brown Property came out on top. The team completed the kitchen in a relatively short timeframe and the end result was nothing short of amazing. They were very professional throughout the whole process and ensured that I remained within my initial proposed budget. I will definitely call them again for any of my renovation needs.
If I could give ZERO, I would. He had no clue as to who was actually living in my property he was hired to manage. In the end he cost me $7,500.00. Read the online reviews. He is BAD NEWS - AVOID!

I had the opportunity to have C Brown renovate some small projects on my newly purchased home. I did not need much work done however I wanted to change a few things cosmetically. He assisted me in designing my walk in closet and upgrading my two bathrooms. He has such an artistic eye for interior design from the layout/placement asthetically to the color schemes and features. He definitely puts his all into doing each project and is very affordable as well. I could not be more satisfied with his services and customer service as well. I would recommend him and his team to my friends and family. I plan to use him again to make some changes to my kitchen and backyard.
