I really wanted to like this place. The menu, the beer, the concept all looked really promising. I ve been to both locations, and have had poor experiences at each. Our latest visit was at the Littleton location. We arrived at 4:30pm (hoping to miss any long lines) and still experienced long wait times for our food. My wife s Goliath burger showed up small, sad, overcooked, and missing key ingredients from the menu description. By the time her new food arrived, my kids and I were finished with our meal. The waitress said she would ask the manager to take off the burger from the bill. The manager only offered to take off half of the burger price, and never arrived at our table to offer any apology. My potato wedges were brought out completely unseasoned. No Bbq rub as the menu promised. The kids meals were passable, but all of our portions seemed small for the price. Also no salt and pepper on the tables. Strange.
At the Evergreen location we experienced long wait times for mediocre food as well. We ordered the cinnamon sugar pretzel for dessert, and the kitchen once again took about 25 minutes to bring out the order. Once again no apology. The pretzel had no sugar on it, and had so much cinnamon that it was not only spicy, but uncomfortably hot which made the dessert course inedible.

Overall I think that someone, somewhere, knows what they are doing the menu planning, the vibe, the beers. The kitchen execution and communication however, is lacking at best. This place could really make a killing as a community watering hole and dinner joint. But without some fast changes and attention to details, I fear it will experience the same fate as its predecessor and succumb to the ever-growing competition in Littleton.

I've been here about four times since they opened. This review is a mix of those four times. The staff is hit-or-miss. Best service award goes to Gavin at the bar...super nice guy. The best experience I've had there was watching the Broncos on Monday night football a few weeks ago. Food is hit or miss also, the smoked wings, are "meh"...the Rueben is on point, one of the best I've had anywhere. I've had the fish and chips too and they were good too. I don't think the menu is the problem.

Here are my grievances:
-Things seem to take a while.
-Suddenly now your entire party has to be present to be seated which is one of the most annoying things ever... Especially since the entire bar area with the exception of the actual bar requires seating. This is almost a deal breaker for me. It's not only annoying to the customer, it's an unfair position to put a hostess in...I could tell they were both uncomfortable when I said "you got to be kidding me", when at 5:05 pm on a Tuesday evening, staring into a relatively empty bar...and was asked to wait for my other two friends to arrive before letting me sit down at a booth.

-Then at one point in the evening we ordered a Jameson's on the rocks, and I was informed it was extra for the ice...yes, they actually wanted to upcharge for ice... Everyone in my party thought the waiter was joking, but he wasn't ...so I ordered the shot, and then scooped some ice
from my ice water into the glass....I actually asked about this later and I was told when they put it on the rocks they give you more whiskey, just give me a shot and cup of ice on the side next time and we'll be good.

So I like the atmosphere, most of the food I've tried is good, but they are clearly going through some growing pains...

You got to ditch that "entire party must be here" policy or you're going to lose a lot of business and frustrate a lot of people... You are in the burbs not some downtown hipster joint.

The roast beef sandwich was excellent, and my wife's buffalo chicken wrap was also really good. They had a kids menu with drawing activities for our little ones (which is an essential distraction when we eat out, LOL). It was opening week when we went, and other than not having all their usual brews available, I never would have guessed as the service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. I'm hoping they offer the same weekend brunch as their Evergreen location... will see!

Staff was nice, but service was a little slow. Food was decent. Mac and cheese is creamy but not what I would call cheesy. Swedish meatballs were good but the Brussels sprouts were a bit heavy on salt. Distancing on tables was good and employees were masked.

Nice Place. Beer is good. Food is mediocre at best; especially given the price. Wait staff did not know menu, so they had to read the menu and determine what the options were... and they were wrong. The grilled chicken sandwich was like it was made by a bad quick order chef. Hire a real chef. Chili's down the street is a way better deal. Sad by all of this, as I REALLY wanted to enjoy this and support a local place. Please, Please fix the food. Seriously it was like poor bar food. Will try one more time. I really want this place to succeed. Owners - The competition is fierce, so please pay special attention to the details.

We arrived at 8:15 on the second day they were open and it was packed. I was really impressed by the service considering it was only the second day they were open. Food was pretty good (except the elk sausage, which neither of us loved). I look forward to exploring more of the menu. Definitely a welcome addition to this area! Expect long wait times.

Pretty great variety of beers. Their Mad Scientist seasonal beer was the best of the 10 samples we tried. We didn't have much food, just a pretzel, which my wife liked. We really do plan on going back regularly!

Disappointed. I love the location in evergreen. At this location the firecrackers are not smoked. The nitro tap didn t seem like nitro at all. And worst of all, the Mac and cheese!! No where in the menu description did it say it will come with a heaping amount of garlic mixed in. The only thing elevated here are the prices!

My silverware was dirty so I asked for a new set. The new knife was crusted with cheese! The waitress let me know the dishwasher was broken so........! How about you use a human dish washer instead, then? Soda was flat as a board so I had water instead. Hog fritters were terrible; dreadful flavor combination and the pulled pork had the propane taste which is sometimes found with smoked meats, but shouldn't be present when smoked properly. Tasteless & doughy fritters with 3 kernels of corn in each. I had a Reuben sandwich which resembled nothing like any other Reuben sandwich I've ever had; with ham and some other unknown meat that had a propane taste, pickles, 2 bits of sauerkraut and a soggy bun. Super chewy and over salted fries. Husband had fish & chips; batter was chewy but the fish was flaky; he left 90% of the fries. Hot as an oven on the deck with no fan or air movement of any kind; loud traffic noise as well. Expensive prices for what you get. Will not be repeat customers; overall a very disappointing experience.

You could be excused for thinking, "ANOTHER brewpub in the suburbs--yawn" before you learned of their roots in Evergreen. Or tried their thoughtfully crafted beers. Or their restaurant quality food. Then you would know better, and be pleasantly informed.
The live music on Friday night was just right; entertaining, but not overpowering. The only drawback was the space itself: the enormous wooden trusses were the only noteworthy focal point in an otherwise bland setting. Good service will more than make up for it though, so go & enjoy!

What a horrible experience we had a few weeks back when we encountered jenelle Kreisher. She was rude and extremely unprofessional. By far the worse customer service treatment we recieved. However, now that she was fired from here, we are willing to give this place another shot because their other managment is professional.

Even during these take out times we received top notch customer service and quality fresh food! Awesome lightly battered fish tacos and pulled pork sandwich! Looking forward to your reopening!

Quick, friendly service. They had a good beer selection. I had Green Chili, my wife had fish and chips. Our friends had a corned beef sandwich and a cheese burger, both had lots of meat. They both took 1/2 of their sandwiches home. Highly recommended

The Lariat Lodge Brewing Company is a beautiful restaurant and brewery! The staff is amazingly friendly and the food is fantastic! Stop in for a bite or an ice cold beer, either way, you won't be disappointed!

Fun place, nice employees and nice environment! My only complaint, I ordered a Veggie charcuterie board and it was basically a salad on a board, not pickled veggies etc as described. However the grilled chicken I ordered extra was super yummy

Good food and beer. Friendly service. Waiting a little longer for a table on the patio is worth it. I thought that the view from the patio would mostly be Ken Caryl Ave and C470, but the plantings screen that out. Inside is rather noisy

The corned beef was excellent. I was hoping for a lager or wheat beer but they had none. Service was marginal, in fact we moved hoping to get better service. In the end the minimum required tip was 18%... not worthy of that.

This restaurant is a blessing to our community! Family oriented, genuine, and enthusiastic staff...the best Rueben sandwich I've ever had. I'm excited to watch this place succeed because they absolutely will. Try the Sour Passion, so balanced and not too hard on the vinegar. Their Brewers know what they are doing.

This was our 6th visit to Lariat Lodge and each time we become more disappointed. This time I was served the incorrect food and my husband had to eat his before it got cold and before my order was served. Last time our entrees were cold. Never have we been offered a discount or free beverage to compensate for what is their mistake not ours. And while the food is good... service isn't and it won't be long before they aren't in business. We weren't there during a really busy time - always before 5:00 p.m. It seems like they just don't care.

We were waiting on people who ended up not coming and didn't order until 15 minutes before closing, which sucked and we felt bad about, but our server was cool the whole time despite us being annoying. Thanks!

My wife and I have eaten here twice. Both times we ordered for pick up. Both times the food has been INCREDIBLE! Today, when we picked up our order we got all the way home before realizing our fries didn t make it in the bag. We called them up and let them know and they immediately apologized. They asked if we were still in the area to pick them up AND a free growler of beer. (The growler would more than offset our meal). Unfortunately, we were not and I am on the wagon. After explaining that to them, they offered to set aside a gift card for the amount of the order that we could pick up another day which we accepted.

Everyone makes mistakes and that s fine. I judge a restaurant by how they make it right and Lariat Lodge was very apologetic and from my perspective absolutely made it right. Will be back again soon!

So, first off, I'm hoping this was just an off night. We've been looking forward for this brewery to open all summer. Last night, 15 days after it's grand opening, we decided to have a go at it. None of their beers were available; apparently not until Friday? The staff was super nice; however, the food wasn't very good. My burger was overcooked and dry, and the bun was nothing special, and my hubby's brisket sandwich wasn't very tasty either. The potato wedges were superb, but my sweet potato fries were pretty burnt. I guess I thought "elevated" food meant that we were going to be in for a treat, but last night might have been an off night. We will give it another chance of course, but I'm hoping they step up their food if they're going to call it "elevated." I can't wait to taste their beer btw since it's a brewery.

Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. I had the Fish and wedges fish was crispy and wedges fairly spicy, I was a bit let down that they were out of root beer but minor set back. The waitstaff was all courteous.

Despite having only been open a few days, they were already running like a well-oiled machine. The only thing that gave away that they were newly opened was the fact that they didn't have their full list of beers available. There were only two on tap and the rest were guest taps. Sounds like this will change in about two weeks. I got the fried fish sandwich and enjoyed every bite of it. The bbq chips were tasty. For dessert, we got the paradise pretzel. I was expecting a cream cheese frosting on the pretzel, but it actually came out with cream cheese. It turned out to be a nice complement to the lingonberry jam on the pretzel. Very excited they're open and we will be back.

O.M.G. that brisket. The customer service is outstanding and the food is delicious. I was bummed they ran out of their sour, but I had the lager and it was great! Definitely check out this space!

Covid update added new menu and still great service, drinks and food.

Previous Review-
Just open and already better than the original. One of the best openings I have ever seen. Now if they can only get all the beers available this place will be kicking. Great improvement over the previous restaurant. Clean, neat and organized with great food. Definitely a must visit restaurant in the Littleton area.

My family and I have been coming here regularly lately for dinner. Everyone loves this place so much especially the fries, speciality ketchup and mac amd cheese. Those are the main reasons my family has been going back they were so good without fail. Well that is until tonight. Everything was wrong. Almost as if there new chefs in the kitchen. I am so disappointed. The fries were flavorless, the ketchup not their specialty, the mach and cheese was weird ,oily and flavorless . Which devastates me because its normally to die for. I was told zucchini was the veggie of the night when I got my strange mac and cheese there was uncooked brocolli instead. I am so utterly disappointed. I simply have 2 questions..is there a new chef? Is this the new normal?
I'm hoping for just an off night because otherwise we will be finding a new family dinner spot . Tonight was not up to par.
