Fun place! View is absolutely amazing! I was somewhat disappointed in the food. We shared a bunch of appetizers which were okay and dinner was the same. I expected more but will try one more time.

The food and drinks very good and price was reasonable for the portions served. Loved their banana pancakes and ambiance was good.
Great bar food, plus pizza, sushi, and more. The view from the bar is amazing, and the service is consistently good.
Beautiful view of the city. Great apps and service.
Really bad service, mediocre and expensive drinks, food is totally overpriced for quality and waitstaff is disorganized and lazy. Chairs and floor was very dirty. Intended to order food, but location was too dirty and drinks took too long that we paid $36 for 2 cocktails with tax and tip. We got the check and went elsewhere. Total letdown.
Delicious!!! Expensive, NYC prices in JC. I guess we are the 6th Borough. All in all the food was spot on. Service was top shelf quality and the drinks were crafted like a true mixologist. But be prepared to be $200 shy for 2 people.
Food was good and the views are great. That said the food was Manhattan expensive and the service was abysmal. We heard 2 other tables around us complain to managers. Our waitress was really bad but I think she had too many tables. I heard a manager say there was only one bartender working when we went on a thursday which leads me to believe management is bad.
I wouldn't go back. There are too many other great restaurants
I wish l could give a 0 star! The ladies on the reception have bad attitude. They don t know how to welcome their customers. Pretty rude!
Pricey but you pay for the view. Food was very good
The service wasn t good at all!
We had a reservation for 7pm while came there at 6pm. We were suggested to sit at the bar and wait for our time - which is ok.
Until 7-10pm nobody came to us to suggest a table. When I came to host to ask why we aren t seated she responded:
I thought you ve already found a table so I cancelled your reservation
After arguing for 5 mins and waited for ~20 mins more we finally got a table. We waited for a waiter another 15 mins to come and take our order...
On top of that, when we waited at the bar we couldn t buy drinks because bartender didn t like that our IDs are not issued by US government which is awful.. does it mean that foreigners coming to the US can t buy drinks?!
Put 2 stars only because pasta was quite good.
Excellent choice for a nice conversation or easy night out. The view is great, the music is subtle, ambiance is exactly like in a pub. Menu has some Greek dishes, Portuguese, etc. Portugal style Octopus was good. Good selection of wines too.
Host(s), Kayla, could be way more friendly. They look at you like what are you doing here - horrible phone etiquette and just simply rude service. They made a mistake on my order two times, and the manager was always too busy to handle it. Brian needs to be more on top of customer issues as he has shown severe lack in follow up.
You can beat the views and the outdoor seating was nice. We had the garden burger there and it was excellent. Also the jose mule cocktail was really nice
The place was modern & slick. Service was great. Wish the draft beer was colder. Definitely would come back
On a trip to Jersey city I stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant but I got food poisoning from the mussels and had to go to the hospital from the dehydration.
Great food and drinks, server was awesome, foh could be more friendly but overall great experience
Love this place!!! Excellent food, view and atmosphere!!!
Never coming back here. Plenty of empty tables and they didn t want to sit a party of 7.
Restaurant offers a varied menu with very tasty dishes including a good selection of sushi rolls and sashimi, craft pizza, and other selections. The selection of wine and beer is extensive. House cocktails are excellent.
Highly recommend this restaurant for a cozy, warm and delectable experience.
The service was really good but the food was just OK. The cocktails were good.
View was ok from inside but food was good. Wedge salad was good except some random white veggie. It was nasty lol. Drinks were weak.
What a great new place on the river in JC. Views are amazing and really brought into the bar/restaurant. Food was fantastic. Date had a great burger and I had fresh delicious sushi. We'll definitely be back.
Overall pretty nice. Crispy octopus, seafood chitarra, and pan seared skate are all tasty. Portion sizes are reasonable.
The Hudson & Co sushi is bad, though. They say crab meat on the menu but give imitation crab meat instead definitely not worth $20.
Apart from the view, rest everything here is terrible. Very rude staff, overpriced food, terrible service. Please don t go here if you care about money and want a good service. There was a small bug in my whisky I told the server and he literally just removed the bug and got me the same glass. Not worth it !!!
Went with 5 people and got two apps and each got food and that was so so much. Portions large
Food was amazing! food portions were awesome I was able to eat a 3 course meal without feeling over stuffed, our server Dala was amazing! He gave us great recommendations as it was our first time there. We will definitely be back!
Food and service is consistent and I love that. The restuarant looks amazing, second to none. At least on this side of the river:)
Place looks great with a great view but got a table order a beer and she ordered a bottle of wine nothing special why after 45 minutes later still waiting i left what a waste of my time
Priceless view, food not bad but doesn't match the view.
Hudson & Co. Bar and Grill is the latest venture from proprietor Jeremy Casilli, who has successfully launched other restaurants in the area. Casilli s work includes Tribeca s AOA Bar and Grill, Edgewater s Pier 115, 3 Westerly in Ossining, New York, and other eateries located in the SoHo and Tribeca Grand Hotels.
The main dining area of Hudson & Co. Bar and Grill can seat up to 175 people, and the space also offers bar seating. Fashioned from grey pebble stone, the bar features Manilla fishnet globe pendants and smart TVs, while a separate private dining room features an 18-foot geometric chevron wood art wall backdrop and seating for up to 40 guests. The final seasonal section of Hudson & Co. is a 4,000-square-foot outdoor terrace that seats up to 125 people.
The picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline are omnipresent throughout the space.
The menu at Hudson & Co. is heavily skewed towards seafood, including dishes like crunchy tuna tartare rice cakes, sushi specialty rolls, and wild caught arctic char. Other more gastropub-centered choices include artisanal wood-fired pizzas, 1 2 pound prime beef burgers, 40-day dry-aged NY Strips, and homemade delicata butternut squash ravioli.
Hudson & Co. sports a full liquor license and has a massive selection of drinks, including 120 different beers in bottle or draught. The restaurant is dedicating four taps to small batch brews that they will constantly rotate, while an extensive list of wines and cocktails rounds out the libations.
Couple of friends reserved a table for four, when I got to the door, the host told me that they don t allow patrons in after their party is in. What kind of rule is that? I was ready to make it rain in there, shame I love to eat out and will not be recommending this place to none of my friends.
Pretzel was great.....sushi was fresh....outside seating view was amazing it was windy and the heater wasnt on... we had to ask multiple time for someone to turn the heater on. Addla was our waiter he was good with suggestions of meals and drinks....the staff overall is not helpful..and Sixtwo was asked something and he never went inside to inquire.
First time visiting the relatively new Hudson & Co. The food was good. I had a sushi roll and the octopus - the fish was fresh & the octopus was crispy. My in-laws and husband enjoyed their respective meals as well (tuna tartare, arctic char, bronzino, quinoa and apple salad). We didn't try the pizza, but they have a brick oven and the pizzas looked delicious.
The service was mediocre, as the server seemed attentive, but never re-filled our water.
Notwithstanding, the restaurant has a great view of Manhattan, and a modern and clean interior. Great spot to watch a game on TV as there are TVs all around the restaurant, or to enjoy a family dinner.
Had their truffle pizza and rice cakes for appy. Would def get both again.
Even with a reservation a week in advance they sat us 2ft from the bathroom.
The food was absolutely terrible. I don t even understand how they re serving it, exspecially at the cost they re serving it at. You can get better food at the Cheesecake Factory or at your nearest diner. The pizza was so soggy and oily. The $18 octopus came with three small pieces. The Brussel sprouts looked like they were put in a blender with some lettuce. Don t get the German pretzel, you can get a better pretzel at the auntie Ann s in the Newport mall.
The only good thing was the view and you can get that elsewhere.
Omg!!! It was my favorite place last summer, but after half a year it became just terrible. Sushi is really bad now, waitress wasn t kind.
Amazing view over the NYC skyline, plus a delicious menu
Stopped in for happy hour on a Friday. Good thing we stopped in before 5 - - the after work crowd was just that : a crowd. The 4 of us sat at the bar, had drinks, a sushi roll, pretzel, and burgers (not on the happy hour). The sushi roll was tasty, maybe a bit on the small size, I do not know if the non-happy hour rolls are a little larger. The burgers and fries were well prepared and well presented.
Views are spectacular.... Staff is overwhelmed...Management is overwhelmingly Amateurish.!! .
First time here with friends from Jersey City. Ordered the tuna tartar, oysters, salads and short rib. We very good. Staff is friendly and helpful.
This place has lovely food. However, the staff kept staring at our table and made my party highly uncomfortable.
Incredible location, the restaurant was beautiful, the food was very good and the noise level was great. Good music and service too. Can t go wrong with this spot whether it s drinks with friends or co workers or a casual/intimate dinner.
Service was fantastic but awful Guinness and food was okay. Wait staff was great and other drinks but Guinness were great too.
I always get the grilled octopus here. It s delicious every single time. Drinks are good too!
The pasta is $28 and a 5 year-old kid wouldn t be full from finishing it. The bartender is rude and takes at least 10 minutes to respond the simplest request like giving me a check. I highly recommend to go somewhere else to get a drink. The view was not that great either.
Hey, waterfront view, good food & draft IPAs, and professional waitstaff to to it off. But, you'll wait a long time for a table.
The food, the view. The level of service. Jersey city waterfront is really off the chain. If you haven't experienced it go before it gets too cold.
The food was amazing there. The view was even better. The meal prices for the quazi bar atmosphere felt over priced. The food was so good many within our party agreed they over ate on the portions.
The service is regularly fast, excellent mood, very nice staff members. I will visit again when I arrive in town.
The absolute WORST experience I ve EVER had at a restaurant. You know it s terrible management when two other parties are talking about how Rude the hostess was. She s rude and disrespectful over the phone but In person tells my husband she ll seat him, waits for me to arrive along with the whole party then grabs her manager out of spite makes us wait to tell us our table was given away. They did it out of complete spite. The manager along with the hostess or receptionist both need attitude adjustments I can t believe the receptionist is still even working there with the way she handles customer service. I called regarding a reservation In the morning for my husbands birthday asking nicely if I could add 2 additional people to the reservation, the terrible receptionist then had the worse attitude and said no, didn t care at the moment until I called letting her know my party would be 15 min late and she said well give up your table after 15 min. I wanted to speak with a manager just based off the way she handled it, had she been a little nicer and less rude the last 2 times I called it wouldn t have been a big deal I understand during Covid accommodations are hard. she said you can speak to him when you get here goodbye My husband arrived exactly at 7:15 she said well seat you once your whole party arrives we all got there she couldn t even look us in the eye instead she got the manager for him to tell us they gave our table away, Why would they make us wait after the WHOLE party arrives, LOOKS FOR parking to tell us sorry we gave it away??? They couldn t tell my husband that when he got there? Instead they waited out of spite? The receptionist is extremely rude almost felt like she did it on purpose and got her little manager to handle it by feeding him lies apparently he was right next to her when she picked up the phone call so why couldn t he have the decency to address my concerns? Also, the manager nor receptionist were wearing masks....
One of my favorite* places in Jersey city to enjoy food and drinks with good music and an amazing view. Everything is phenomenal here.
Service is terrible! Rude hosts. Very poorly managed
Great spot nearby exchange place in Jersey City and on the water. Has outdoor seating when the weather is nicer, and a lot of TVs if you want to catch a game. The food was great, better than anticipated. The cocktail menu and wide array of drink options is also fantastic. Will definitely be returning!
Good food, good staff, okay cocktails ( kind too watery). Still would come back to eat here
Great place to hangout with friends and have a couple of drinks. They have outside seating facing downtown newyork skyline, which is a pretty great view. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Delicious food, ex excellent service, beautiful, gorgeous views
great and helpful staff ..Food was acceptable..amazing views .
Had my lunch there and what a place! You can see all of the Manhattan skyscrapers from their patio!
BEAUTIFUL! I thought the entrance was really cool. Very nice interior. We were greeted and seated immediately. Wait service was welcoming and attentive. I ordered the Steak & Eggs casserole, and it was very good. I also ordered a bellini and vodka tonic, and they were on point. I'd definitely go back again.
Excellent food, great customer service, staff is friendly, chill atmosphere, and they adhere to the rules in regards to the corona virus. My friends and I felt safe and comfortable while we enjoyed our food and drinks. And the view is sick! Also don t forget to ask for one of our favorite waiters, Dala. He provides stellar customer service.
Food was tasteless and over cooked.
They have a bar upcharge for drinks when you sit down for dinner. $1 extra for a neat drink.
Service was poor.
The staff was great, the food was mediocre. I had the scallops and pork belly, and they tasted good, but there was no color on the scallops, and that left them a little flat. The price is for the view, and not the food.
Rude manager and overpriced mediocre food. I drove over an hour with high expectations and was disappointed.
Good place with prime view to City. Menu has questions about what type of kitchen its. Looks like they try to combine all, suchi, pizza, Mac and cheese.. very big mix of everything with out style. Any way service fast , food good.
Very nice place. View at the bar is probably best in Jersey City and food was great too.
Good place to be at with friends and family. Beautiful site
View great. Drinks good. Food meh. Manager rude.
I ll try again post-Covid. Maybe they re just stressed.
Great place in jersey city. Large space with big bar facing the city.
Great food and great drinks with an awesome view of the city. Definitely recommend coming here
Good vibe and friendly staff. I tried their burgers and didn't really like it. The patty seemed tasteless and dry.
Spacious yet comfortable dining room. The waitress was friendly and a joy. The cocktails and food was delicious
