Rick is a great trainer. I started with one on one and then moved to the group classes and has been going for several months now. Rick works with each one of us closely, understands the goals and makes it very personable. He comes up with ideas, new techniques to make it more interesting and fun. I highly recommend this place for personal training OR group fitness. Best value for the money along with fun.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Burn Personal Training has transformed my lifestyle in every aspect. After training with Owner, Rick Anderson, for about 7 months now, I am the strongest, most toned, and overall healthiest I've ever been in my adult life. Rick is so knowledgeable, professional, and serious about helping his clients achieve their goals. I have learned, through his commitment and dedication to helping me, what it means to push and improve myself through his unique and varied 45 minute workouts (including Tabata, HIIT, and the most fun...some serious BOXING!) and changing my eating habits. Only if you are determined and committed to working hard, would I recommend Burn, as this is what it takes to see results! Rick's clients are a dedicated bunch and the ones that aren't don't stick around. Through one on one and small group sessions, Rick gives each client individual attention and knows exactly what you are capable of and how much to push you. I truly look forward to each appointment and know I will leave feeling stronger and more confident! The big crowded gyms, inconsistent trainers, and contract gimmicks are not for me. I love that a friend referred me to Burn and I will never go back to my old habits. Thanks, Rick, for getting me fit at 49!

I signed up for the group training classes and I have no regrets. Rick is very personable and works with you to make sure your form is correct as you exercise. I especially like the variety of classes offered within a week at a great price. Great workout space too.

I have been training with Rick for 4 weeks and I am beyond pleased with my results so far. Rick's training technique includes education and awareness about body. He explains each routine patiently and makes sure I m doing things the right way. After being trained by Rick, i feel energetic all day. I do recommend this place.

I am beyond pleased with my results so far. Rick takes his time to explain the workout and what we are targeting which makes the workout much more effective. The facility is very clean, service is personalized, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a personal trainer. My only regret is that I did not find this place sooner!

I started out my journey for the right personal trainer many years ago, and have never found the right person to fit my personality, fitness level, and goals until I met Rick a year ago. Rick has taken the time to listen to what I am looking for in a personal trainer, and he let me know what he is looking for in a client. It s not often you meet people where your goals completely align with one another, and when you do you know it s right.

Having Rick as my trainer the past year has taught me so much about myself. He pushes you to always give 110% while understanding your personal fitness levels and slowly increasing your limits over time. I have been to the gyms and trainers who only care about the money, how they look, and taking the easy way of putting you on a machine and counting your reps. Never again for me.

Rick comes up with innovative ways to keep you guessing. He truly cares about teaching why you are doing what your doing, and listening to you. His approach is completely one on one. No gym, no people, no BS. I am beyond thankful for finding Rick, he is everything I have ever wanted in a trainer and more. I have one year in and many more to go with Rick! Do yourself the best thing you could ever do and make that appointment with Rick! No gym or other personal trainer will compare I guarantee it!

Attended Rick's personal training as well group sessions for many years. He is focused on your fitness and provides overall balanced approach to fitness including strength, circuit, boxing training added with complementary nutrition tips. He is the best in business and glad to have him around near concord mills close to where we live.

Rick really zeros in on your strengths and weaknesses, and works with your fitness level to correct them. He cares about the well being of his clients and helping them towards better health. He uses different techniques, exercises, and equipment, while coming up with creative ideas and exercises to target areas of the body that need improvement. I would recommend Rick to anyone that wants to get real results. Rick gives dedicated one on one attention that produces results. In the time I have been working with him, I have steadily seen my strength and endurance increase week after week.

This is truly a fantastic place to workout and achieve your fitness goals! Rick is one of the most patient and dedicated fitness instructors I know. He always knows what he s talking about and never fails to make his lessons and classes fun, exciting, and new! His boxing classes are my favorite. His positivity and motivation are more than enough to keep you engaged and feeling confident in yourself. Highly recommended!

I have been working out with Rick and Burn Persona...

I have been working out with Rick and Burn Personal Training for several years. It has changed my life. I am in the best shape of my adult life and in great health. The best part of going here is the variety you get. I have done personal 1:1 training, group training with my family, and several different fun and challenging classes. I feel like I get great training on proper technique and I have never been pushed to where I am hurt or injured afterwards.

I feel like when you are in search of a personal trainer, you want to find a person who understands your needs and goals, what you want to achieve and also suggest how you can achieve that. I have been training with Rick for 3 months now and I can say that the way he plans the workouts is amazing. Rick is highly dedicated towards the goals of individual. I highly recommend Rick and Burn Personal Training.

Also, Rick owns the Burn Personal Training gym so unlike other commercial gyms, he is highly dedicated and gives full attention. For the personal classes, you are the only individual at the gym at a given slot which is another best thing.

Rick is doing something that he is passionate about and it shows. He takes the necessary time to demonstrate each exercise so that I don t lose good form. He creates alternative exercises if something causes pain. His approachable personality is what I was looking for, not a bulldog yelling at you all the time. There is no judgment. No one should be too intimidated to work with Rick.

I ve struggled with my weight since puberty, but it took a turn for the worse during my undergrad and graduate career. Doctor after doctor, on and off different medications, it came down to a diagnosis of PCOS. Newly 24, this news was not I wanted to hear, but it explains so much why it s so difficult for me to lose weight, especially on my own. Just two months ago I decided it was time to find a personal trainer, an idea I had ignored since high school. I was so nervous at first, but I m so glad I found Rick. Rick is patient, understanding, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent trainer all around. There are times when I have to stop short of our goal for the workout, and when I do, Rick never makes me feel bad about it. The encouragement on what I was able to do, and what I will be able to do in the future is so appreciated and makes it all worth it. Rick encourages without pushing too hard, and makes sure I m doing things the right way- so I get the most out of our time. Make no mistake, Rick is tough- but only because he knows you can do it. There are some days that I feel too tired to go in, and some I don t, but no matter how I feel going in, I leave Rick s feeling better physically and mentally. Rick is worth your time, your effort, and your focus, because he gives it all back. Finding Rick and being able to work with him as been a game changer. I m losing weight, feeling better, and for the first time in my life- I truly enjoy working out. Long story short: Rick is wonderful, and you won t be disappointed with him training you!

I have been training with Rick for three weeks now and already seeing a difference, feeling stronger and healthier. I have some limitations due to previous injuries but Rick always finds a way to give me a complete workout. He gives excellent instruction and truly cares about teaching the proper technique so you do not injure yourself.

If you are in an exercise rut or want to push yourself harder and test your true grit and see what you are capable of, try Burn Personal Training! Between small group classes and personal training, every workout is different, and at 51 I am able to do more than I could in college! I tried a big boot camp first and it was so crowded and poorly supervised and I got hurt. I came to Rick after that and was sold after the first workout! Give it a try- You won't be disappointed!

I've been working out with Rick for well over a year. He is very professional at all times and really knows how to get the best work outs from each individual by keeping you motivated. He personalizes the workout to your specific needs and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is someone who ensures that your form and how you perform each exercise is done accurately. I've been working out at Burn Personal Training for 5 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Rick is patient and tailors every workout around your goals and fitness ability. In the past I was always uncomfortable and intimidated by gyms. I just stuck to the treadmill and basic machines because I didn't know how to do anything else. Rick's workouts are fun, creative and most importantly, I get results and I'm finally confident in the gym.

Having Rick as a trainer has been a great experience. I am older and use a cane. My objective was to get rid of the cane, get my balance back, and range of motion improve. He has been very good, pushing but not so I get injured. He is also very patient. It has been a great experience.

Rick has been my personal trainer for months, and ...

Rick has been my personal trainer for months, and I cannot stress enough how great the experience has been. Rick adjusts everything to your fitness level and what you are comfortable with, and his goal is for you to understand the correct way to do exercises, what you should be targeting/thinking about while doing it, and WHY you are doing it.

If you are completely new to exercising, working with Rick will give you the experience and confidence to ensure that your health/fitness isn't just a passing fad in your life, but something that sticks with you (as it has for me, as I am now exercising even between our sessions) and creates a healthier you.

Last, the fact that all personal training sessions are completely private (literally no one else in the gym) and the cleanliness of the gym is top notch (less people = easier to clean... everything is sanitized immediately after using it), especially with everything currently going on in the world, makes going back month after month an easy choice.

Professional and complete workouts for all abilities and needs. Rick does a great job of designing and implementing workouts that are customized to specific goals. He actively coaches and adjusts when needed to avoid injury and maximize the workout. The environment is encouraging and professional which is more motivating for me than typical 'gym environments.' I highly recommend Burn Personal Training!

Been going to Burn for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! Rick is super friendly and genuinely wants to help anyone who walks through his doors. I have learned so much about specific techniques such little time. I like the Tabata inspired timing that is used. Before you know it, you're already done and you usually never repeat an exercise, which is so motivating- really forces you to go all out in each activity. Megan is also super friendly. She partnered with me the first couple times I went and it helped me feel even more welcome. Definitely going to keep coming back and would recommend to anyone at any fitness level!

Wish I had an option to give more than 5 stars!! I have been training with Rick for 4 weeks and I am already seeing the changes and loving it!
Rick is passionate, has unique techniques and expertise, understands individual needs, educates about the routines and body and brings out the best in you! I am not only getting better, stronger and healthier, but also more educated about my body. His training technique includes education and awareness in such a way that it not only helps you get your physical best, but also more fit mentally. You will be energetic all day. And all this comes with a lot of fun and motivation! I am enthusiastic for each class and feel super-duper motivated when I walk out!
Whatever your goals are..getting into shape, getting stronger, learning what works for you, education about the routines, keeping up the fitness levels or anything else THIS IS THE PLACE and RICK IS THE TRAINER you have been looking for!
