We purchased the tea and dinner package so that is what this review is based on. I can t remember the cost but I thought at the time it was to much. After the lunch I realized it was not. The hotel (besides the rooms) were stunning! The staff kind and waited on you as if you were royalty which oddly enough were the only other people around us. Food was delicious and enough options and courses to keep us there for 3 hours! This was not our intent which made this meal more of an experience than food.

One of the main tourist attractions in Dubai, visited the island housing this luxury hotel. The beach is calm considering there is barriers present. The hotel have their own beach space and a water theme park. The beach is quite packed during the tourist season but you still can have a good time exploring the area.

This is a must do on your list of things when visiting Dubai. We did not stay but booked afternoon tea. If you choose the afternoon sitting you can then go into the bar area until you decide to leave.
I simply love the views/staff and afternoon tea with champers was a sheer delight.

Arrival was fantastic; the in suite check-in is a nice touch (I wish more hotels would do this). Rosemary was great: she provided us with a quick tour (I was exhausted). Our Butler, Michael, was attentive and helpful without being over-bearing.

Both floors of our suite were immaculately clean; lots of natural light and water views. Rosemary had a birthday cake delivered for me - a delicious, thoughtful touch (I just wish a cloche had been provided for leftovers).

These suites only have a charge minibar; frankly, at this price point an additional mini bar that's complimentary should be available. At the very least a variety of local dates, and a chilled bucket of non-charge beverages (sodas, waters, a juice or two) should be in the suite.

The products in the bathroom were Hermes; they smelled wonderful and were great quality. (We'd read raves about Hermes perfume and cologne being offered as part of the toiletries, but we did not receive either, so that was either an oversight, or it's a thing of the past.) The shower was heaven on earth. The toilet and bathroom floor are not heated, but I'm guessing in this part of the world heated anything isn't taken into consideration?

His/hers flip flops and a simple beach bag are complimentary. But I would have preferred some ear plugs, because NEARBY CONSTRUCTION BEGINS AT 7 AM. It's loud. LOUD loud. Woke-me-from-a-dead-sleep loud. I called to inquire and was asked if I'd like a call back to discuss more. I said NO. At 8 AM the phone rings, waking me JUST when I managed to start to doze off.

Once my husband was lucid, he inquired about the noise and was very off-put by the suggestion WE should asked about construction, and let the hotel know early morning noise is a sleeping impediment to us - not the other way around. That's just unacceptable. Eventually we spoke with a Manager, Mariana, and she was extremely apologetic, which we appreciated. But guests should be told up front there is going to be early morning noise and asked if this will be an issue. Guests shouldn't have to ask.

Breakfast was good; it s a small buffet, but good quality. (A separate Asian buffet on a different floor is also offered.) We sat outside, which was lovely. The hotel has a Falcon to patrol to make sure crows don t create a nuisance it s a cool touch.

We went to have cocktails in the evening and had to laugh: about $50 US dollars for an Aperol Spritz. An Aperol Spritz, folks. Come ON. That s just ludicrous.

Overall, where dining service is concerned, there s a fine line between attentive service and service that is SO present it becomes distracting. This hotel is in the latter category. Some people may love this over-attention. We do not. (An exception: our breakfast interaction with the Falcon handler: he was incredibly astute and noticed us watching him several times before he slowly approached us. He was lovely.)

Nice

An indescribable and for me unforgettable stay.

The architecture and the interior design are overwhelming.
The food is some of the best, if not the BEST in the world.

Uniquely beautiful as in a thousand and one nights.

Thank you.

The most iconic and globally known building, which is actually synonymous with Dubai. Impressive from the outside and visible from afar. On the inside it looks kitsch, but of course it isn't. Everything is gold that shines. If you want to eat here in the restaurant that is visible from below as the crossbar, then you must reserve in advance and appropriate clothing is necessary. Downstairs are a number of restaurants.

Burj Al Arab is a Dubai-based hotel in Dubai. It is the 4th tallest hotel in the world. It has been built on an artificial island within an area of 280 meters from the sea coast. The building built in imitation of the old sailing ship of Arabia is a representative of Arab traditions. One of the richest Arabs in the Arab world, the family property of the ruler of the UAE, Sheikh Nahyan, bourgeois al Arab "Bourgeois al Arab" is voted as one of the world's luxurious hotels by the voters of Daily Telegraph's luxury travel magazine, Ultra Travel. The construction cost was 650 million US dollars.

Visited Burj Al Arab, before going inside you will need to book a reservation in any restaurant if you are not staying in the hotel. The security is really good as you will get checked twice before entering. Casual smart dress. The building is beautiful and the location is amazing. If you are interested in architecture/civil engineering then this is the place you need to visit and see the amazing work and details inside.

Came to the Skyview Bar for Afternoon Tea today. Everyone was very friendly from the guards at the gate, the staff at the front entrance, the lobby receptionist, hostess and servers. Marky was our server and he was very tentative and friendly. He catered to all our needs and checked up on us between each course. He made it a very special occasion as we were celebrating a birthday. The view was absolutely stunning! I highly recommend coming here to enjoy a one of a kind and special experience.

A very expensive place to say or to eat (as expected).

Truly a world-class 7-star hotel! We ve stayed at many 5-star hotels around the world (Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, Banyan Tree, Ritz, Morpheus and more) and never before have we experienced getting walked straight to our room and checking-in right inside our suite instead of a main lobby/reception, nor have I ever received a dedicated butler for our floor (we were on 14th floor), so BAAJ definitely earns a higher star ranking!

We ve also never seen a gated hotel with security entrance, which made us feel very safe and even more exclusive. It was my birthday and they sent up a bouquet of flowers and cake.

Top-level service and memorable architecture. Great breakfast buffet too!

The feeling of luxury and opulence is pleasant and not annoying, because it goes well with the city as a whole. Attentive and caring staff, but never intrusive. Everything absolutely perfect, from breakfast to airport transfer. Only thing: preclude the possibility of access to tourists (even if it is paid) for a better protection of the privacy and tranquility of the guests, which nevertheless remains enviable to the plans.
