Well it's low-key open to the public and you can see everything they're doing they're very unpretentious and they're not going to turn on a water hose and overwhelm you. Five stars up from this reviewer on a five-star scale see it!

The Buffalo Arts Studio curates diverse exhibitions and shows with artist talks. Also great educational opps for young and old. Love their events and openings!
Took an oil painting class here. Excellent instructor, Skylar Borgstrom. Visit the website to sign up for any classes offered. There is a beautiful art gallery along with studio spaces.
A really cool event space and art studio tucked away inside the Tri-Main Building. I'm really glad that I came across it; if you're looking to host an event or get more involved with the Buffalo art community, this is definitely a place to check out. They offer classes for the community and a lot of the artists here have open spaces that you can come and tour.
The group also puts on two large events, one is Trimania which happens in a couple weeks and the other is Plates & Pasta which takes place this weekend. There is a 4th Friday event here, usually an art opening which M&T helps put on. If you're interested in being involved with more of the Buffalo art community, the Buffalo Arts Studio is a must stop. It's a beautiful space, tucked away on the 5th floor of the massive Tri-Main building.
Took the date night pottery class with Andrea. She was great, very patient, helpful, and encouraging. The atmosphere was inspirational and helped foster creativity. We plan on returning for future date night classes.
