Super helpful staff. I've bought so much stuff from here because of that. Yes it's cheaper online but you can't beat the knowledge they have. Well worth the small difference compared to online pricing.
Wanted to buy some equipment from here instead of a big retailer because it is important to buy from small and local businesses *especially* during times like this. I overheard someone super friendly helping other guest and when they approached me, I was met with the best customer service ever. Vickie was fantastic and such a true gem. So friendly, considerate and she has such a great spirit. I'll def be back for all my camera needs and accessories. Thank you!
I really appreciate the attention and friendliness in solving my camera needs. They were great at returning my call and having my item ready for me when I walked in. The sales ppl were very nice and took time to listen and to help me. The Carytown store is sleak looking and fully equipped w everything camera related.
Ridiculously expensive, they don't give you prints of the photos, and they did a bad job developing, the store manager also exposed my photos by opening my film camera without my permission. Would not come back.
Every time I've entered this store I have felt comfortable, cared for, and welcome. The staff are incredibly friendly and patient, which was a huge help as I'm a novice. They took time to explain things and never made me feel rushed. Speaking with one of the staffers (Nicholas I think?) helped me feel more at ease in using my camera, in choosing the right film, and in spotting quality when purchasing used devices. The level of expertise makes this a great go-to for professionals, and their helpfulness and patience makes it also a great place for beginners.
A student of mine bought her first slr camera from your store. One of the employees sold her a Sigma lens and Canon body which were incompatible. The lens is meant for dslr with a crop frame sensor. She shot two rolls of film in which the majority of her photos were seriously vignetted. When she tried to return the lens, albeit past the ten-day return policy, she was refused a refund. Seeing as this was a mistake on the part of Richmond Camera, she should at least get to return the lens and comped a couple rolls of B&W film as a sign of good faith.
This is the edited review if anyone has seen the first one you know that I mentioned about how old is this company and they have always been my favorite place to shop for all types of photography equipment and everything else I need. The best place to shop with confidence.

First visit felt rush so he could get back to conversation with fellow employee. Second visit 5 star service from young woman!!! I will find out who is working before I go again.
I had to get my dads photo restored .. it was really beat up. They did great! Nick and the young lady that works there seems genuinely nice .they even remember my name as I walked in (which is nice ) The only reason I didn t give 5 stars it cost close to 200 (I didn t expect)to get one pic done and it took close to a month. Other than that they did do their job ! Thanks again
