Budgens Supermarket, Holt, NorfolkFresh Foods Review

Poor avo sourdough. Few vegan options and unfashionable coffee.

Found it very pricey and didn't have everything I need .

Friendly staff and the best place around to do the weakly shop.

The store was fully stocked the staff very helpful thank you all for all your hard work this year MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Very good selection of local produce. Bit expensive tho.

Great supermarket. Lots of local produce as well as vegan and organic stuff. Sadly, it burned to the ground in June 2020. Hopefully it will be back at some point. Meanwhile, it is a few miles to the nearest alternative. Probably Tesco at Sheringham. Nowhere near as interesting in terms of range of produce and local stuff.

Not impressed.not enough stock. Even found some items out of date.

over expensive by far only go there because you monopolize the area and it's convenient as no other super market local to the area.the service and workers are fine but not everyone are well off lovely place HOLT but over priced .

Very large shop very little options and very very expensive would not recommend

Only real place to buy regular food in the area without traveling. Good selection of local produce but generally inflated prices presumably due to lack of competition.

When we asked what the procedure was with regards to car parking we were met with a very rude response from the cashier, basically saying there was a sign speaking to us like we were idiots. Given to his is our very first visit we won't be rushing back.

Overpriced on there stock compared to other supermarkets no own brands not good on value for money

Pretty comprehensive see iron of products albeit at slightly higher prices than average. The Holt premium I guess!
There is a particularly good range of local agricultural products (veggies meat and cheese) makes it better than your average Budgens.

Bit overwhelming the amount off stuff, a bit of a novelty.

Local supermarket. Has everything you need from the bare essentials to the things you can treat yourself to (sweets, alcohol). Staff is friendly enough and even has a little post office inside.

Nice shop but good at charging premier prices. Shame it has no competitors in the town

It's OK..just very pricy..great for grabbing some bits and pieces but I couldn't afford to do my weekly shop here.

Local store with plenty of local fresh produce and a deli

Lots of beautiful, fresh and yummy things. Had everything I could want from local products, health foods and dog food.

Grosely overpriced. Would never use for our weekly shop, and feel sorry for the residents of Holt that do not have the option to shop in Tesco's or Morrisons. The sooner there is some competition against Bakers the better.

Excellent range of products, friendly and helpful staff.

Budgens seem to be quite reliable across the whole country. They do seem to put an effort into stocking local products which is really nice and helpful. This is a particularly good Budgens that's what I was saying the size of one of those small Waitrose. It was really family friendly and just felt very nice to shop in.

Useful but pricey. Offers mainly manufacturer offers on brand names you can get elsewhere. Some local produce or local goods not widely available. Video controlled car park, strict enforcement of disabled, parent child spaces and time generally, ensure you enter your licence plate numbers correctly on machine. Shop chooses to not address parking ticket appeals locally.

Cost of one hour car park can be taken off shopping. Free parking for 10 mins approx to support use of post office inside (but can also buy goods if quick).

Great store, although slightly more expensive, loads of local produce, and more than you'd find in other supermarkets.

Budgen's is not the cheapest supermarket, however, their products are good quality & staff very helpful & friendly.

A decent budgens. Not especially cheap, as you might expect, but not gouging either. Car park is not free.

Quick shop in the store and use of carpark whilst exploring the town. Town lovely, car park less so... shop is what you would expect - modern with good selection of your daily needs.

Not bad for a supermarket better than tesco not as good as sainsbury

This is a decent sized shop that has a wide selection of products and the prices are fairly reasonable, we as holiday makers in the area found it useful to grab stuff for lunch and dinners. I did find that going in after 6PM that there was More

Watch your receipts they rip you off unless very careful.
