This place is amazing. Went there in June 2013 and eating there was quite a treat. We ordered the food for takeout even though they were happily enough to accommodate us in their restaurant. The portion size were big but it was so delicious! I would definitely recommend stopping by here or any of their other locations.

The best dish we ordered was a side of chinese eggplant. The chicken ponzo with buddha buns was poorly executed and cheap tasting for an entree of over $20. The king crab tempura was similar to the fried seafood obtained at any local Chinese food restauraunt. The sashimi was overseasoned. Waygu beef sticks were pretty good. Our waitress was cordial but didn't take much time to explain things. The restauraunt is gorgeous, especially the main dining room. It is a bit dark in this restaurant, easily the darkest restaurant i've been in. Portions were advertised large but were not as expected, especially for the price of the items. Skip this place unless you're going for cocktails.

Excellent service from Ezra, very informative! He answered every question we had flawlessly and made us feel very special even though he had a lot of other tables. He told us about the duck and sea bass which were amazing! His wine knowledge was great too! I will be recommending buddakan to my associates. The only issue we had was that the the managers were a little pushy. We explained to Ezra that we wanted to enjoy our meal and not be rushed (which he timed perfectly with great communication) , but a couple of female managers seemed to want us out of there to seat another table i guess. A tall cute blonde, and a shorter brunette with glasses addressed us several times and even brought us a check when we weren't even finished yet. Ezra apologized and accommodated us professionally. We'll definitely be asking for Ezra when we come back.

A menu like no other! My SO and I split 3 appetizers and the wasabi crusted steak for dinner. All the food was amazing but we could not stop talking about the Puffs and Edamame Ravioli. These two appetizers are a MUST! Beyond this, the servers were super attentive and there was never a dirty dish or empty glass on our table.

Delicious food and reasonable price. Would have given 5 stars but seating arrangements can use a facelift. They sit people in walking paths of bathrooms but with tables that are in everyone's way. Your entire meal your table is being hit by people going to the bathroom and wait staff trying to get around. Drinks spilling and just plain annoying. Need to redo as they planned poorly.

Over looking the ocean with beautiful sunset views. The decors are beautiful yet very simple. We took sometime to figure out the menu. Fortunately we landed up having one of the best dishes the chef has to serve. Pepper ribeye was amazing with subtle flavors. BBQ pork was dangerously delicious, We asked for well done. In the beginning we were not confident about the food we ordered so we added kimchi beef fried rice just in case and it turned out to be a great trio/combo meal. Every dish we ordered has it s own unique flavor. Basically nothing can go wrong with your choices.
Very friendly and Professional staff. Had a great time.

Walked in on Saturday, but apparently they were doing reservations only. So went Sunday, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had lobster puff, crab fried rice and the melt in your mouth lamb. Soooo good. And dont let me get started on those cocktails. So much passion went in all the above. And our waitress Jennifer is amazing. Recommended if your in AC.
Definitely going back

I go here every year and get the wasabi filet for my b day.. I went March 8 this year and it was a little different ... i went with my wife , mother in law and sister in law ... food was great like always but our waiter was not friendly whatsoever .. we were greeted by him saying do you guys want ice or bottled water then continued to give us an attitude .... He did not introduce himself or anything. We could barely get a hold of him to get a ginger ale ... I m disappointed cuz i love their food but this birthday dinner was a disappointment and he made our experience very uncomfortable .... i don t think i will be back just because of that .... disappointment cuz their foods great and the service is normally awesome .

I've eaten there many times and the food is always incredible! The tasting menu is always a great option for a big group, but al a carte dishes are great as well. The sea bass is my favorite here! And yes you need to order edamame ravioli, it's a must. Their rices, side dishes (especially the eggplant) are delicious, and desserts are great too. You can't go wrong with going to Buddakan!

Overall, the food and the service was good. My wife and I both agree the Chef's Tasting for 2 is definitely worth $60/person compared with other restaurants in the area at similar price points.

The service was excellent and they were very accommodating, considering we were the only people in the restaurant with an infant. They had no problem relocating us when we asked to be seated at a different table.

Amazing Asian fusion, not typical of most restaurants they want you to share dishes. Plus the food came out in the order in which it was finished in the kitchen. So my food was amazingly fresh. The best Creme Brulee I have ever had. I honestly am looking forward to my next trip to AC just for this restaurant.

It's like dining on a Hollywood set, the place is truly stunning, and the food is very good, only blatant saltiness keeping it from being excellent. It's located on the third floor of the refurbished and exciting pier across the Boardwalk from Caesar's, hanging over the ocean. Unfortunately the servers are trained to push drinks, appetizers, desserts, and cappuccino. The fifth query about a drink was just too much. Hard selling ruined the night.

We went in with hesitation as there were very few vegetarian options on menu. When we sat down and enquired about our options, they said to they can convert most of the options into vegetarian. Food taste was amazing, and Buddha statue was giving good vibes. It was a little darker, but food taste compensated for that. Would highly recommend it

Went for restaurant week with 6 friends. It was cool to be able to try things, but portions were so small and drinks were so expensive that I left poor and hungry. The food was delicious, honestly. Maybe I should go back sometime, but I'm not sure I could afford it on a normal night.
