Best beer in Colorado!! Add to that great food and live music and what more can you ask for?! Could not recommend more highly.

Really wanted to like this place, so decided to try lunch. Ordered 2 salads. One was bland and the other tasted like soap with cilantro. I think that was the margarita chicken salad. Anyway, both salads were disappointing. On top of that, we ordered 2 drinks that were $13 each. They were excellent! However, it took 20 minutes to get them. In fact we got our food before our drinks including water. Service was poor. Left this place with a $70 lunch bill and a huge disappointment.

Great service. Good food and beer! The place over all was cool. Would love yo come back.

I have heard great things about this place. However we did not stay and eat here. My disabled mother uses a walker to get around. We could not get her to the front doors without a ungodly amount of stairs or long walk around. We will come a different time. Still interested.

Got the double bacon cheeseburger and my wife got the teriyaki bowl, both extremely good. Everything is fresh and scratch ingredients, even the ketchup. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or just passing through. Would have photos of the food but ate it too quickly. A bit more expensive compared to other restaurants in the area but you re paying for the atmosphere and the quality of the food.

Just grabbed a pint, but this looks like a really nice place, awesome location, live music Ssturdays, will certainly come back and check it out more. Didn't eat, but it all looked and smelled really good.

WOW! Very "Denver-esk" style! Can accommodate larger crowds. Love the outside seating also. A must go to place .

We had a great evening at the Brues Alehouse! We had street tacos, in 3 different varieties ,a grinder,and piled high fries plus shashito peppers. We enjoyed every bite. Plates were clean and enjoyed the kick most bites had. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We saw the billboard on I25 driving south from Denver and decided to stop for lunch. Glad we did! Lovely setting by the riverwalk and friendly staff. The beer was uniformly very good (and we are somewhat beer snobs....) and the food was tasty and very nice. Definitely on our itinerary next time we head that way!

The food was wonderful, chocolate cake so delicious. The hostess was very considerate and kind. Really enjoyed the tour . Service was great. Nice calm atmosphere. Will come again.

Delicious! Mother's Day out was pretty horrendous in other restaurants. Decided to try Sunday brunch here instead. With seated in about 40 to 45 minutes. Avocado toast with a side of crispy potatoes with a really good meal. However, I asked for their special green salsa, and it took the dish to another level. I mentioned that to our super waiter, who passed it on to the chef. Look forward to that combo! Hubby had the two egg breakfast and it was equally as fantastic.

Terrible service waited forever wake out after not being waited. won't go back

We were quite disappointed with our experience. It took 30 mins to get our appetizer, 40 mins to get our kids meals. We ordered both as soon as we talked with our server. Our meal took over an hour. We were told the manager would be over to chat with us but did not show up until we requested a manager at the end of our meal. It appeared that he did not care about our experience at all. It was all very disappointing. As of now we do not recommend and probably won't return.

I love this restaurant! People ask me, how good is the food in Pueblo... I say "well, I was skinny when I moved here". Brues is one of those local places we love to bring out of town guests to. It requires a lovely stroll on the beautiful Riverwalk to get there. You can sit outside and enjoy the views or sit inside and enjoy the live music. You have to try their amazing brews and ciders. Also make room for dessert! You can walk it off with another lap around the Riverwalk!

Horrible service. This place is terrible ive never had such aweful food burnt nachos and a soggy turkey sandwich. The dessert we got the whip topping was over beat so it was buttered. This place is super expensive. I would never come back.

This used to be a millennial/hipster friendly place, but seems like a family hangout now with a much older, and very young clientele. The food is sometimes amazing in a sea of inedible swill, but compared to restaurants in larger cities it falls short. This would be a meh place anywhere else but Pueblo, in Pueblo this place is a gem; but that doesn't make up for the awkwardness and annoyance of children running around adults who are drinking copious amounts of alcohol, nor the inability to get a table without waiting 40 or more minutes.

I don't normally travel down to Pueblo but found myself in the neighborhood and in desperate need of some good food on a Tuesday afternoon. A friend recommended Brues Alehouse right on the Arkansas Riverwalk and I'm glad she did. The atmosphere is was comforting from the moment we walked in and the service was just as warm and welcoming.
We started off our meal with the Californian loaded fries topped with pork, guac, pico and a sriracha sour cream that I could not get enough of. After a while of deliberation, my boyfriend and I decided on two separate orders of tacos for our meals. I decided on the pork belly tacos served on steamed buns and he choose the carne asada tacos on flour tortillas. (Disclaimer; if you order the carne asada tacos beware of the shishito pepper. I have a high heat tolerance but one bite of this pepper forced me to order a large glass of milk). Both were fantastic meals and I would recommend them to anyone, however, Brues knows pork and when I revisit this alehouse again I will definitely order a dish that features their marinated pork.
We completed our meal with treats from their bakery. I choose the chocolate eclair and he decided to order the lemon tart. Again, both were amazing treats and I would have to say that I did enjoy the tart slightly more.
I would with out a doubt recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in Pueblo. I honestly can't wait to revisit and explore the menu even more! Thanks for a great meal Brues Alehouse! Ya'll don't disappoint!

Great atmosphere, beers, food and service. There are tons of good beers to choose from. The pulled pork sandwich is one of the best I've ever had.

This is a well put together project and the ale house is super nice. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the place. All their beers are a bit hoppy for me but the less hoppy styles we're good. I am sure that people who are into hops will appreciate them (note: I don't drink IPAs). Haven't tried any of the food there so won't comment further. I just drank beer on my several visits.

Wow, what a surprise. Outstanding food and beer though I suggest eating outside for those that do not want the full smell of a brewery while eating.

I can't rave enough about the menu, beer and desserts. Outstanding food concepts very well executed. This place has quickly become a quintessential anchor for Pueblo's Riverwalk and an ambassador for uniquely Pueblo cuisine. Many dishes make expert use of Pueblo's famed green chiles and they have even incorporated the lesser known calabacita (young sweet squash) to great culinary success. Whether it is 2 of my favorites, the prime rib sandwich or the power up salad ( a peanut quinoa salad) their menu does not disappoint pallets and dietary preferences of all types, even the veggie burger is home made. The coffee and desserts (pastries and truffles and tarts, oh my!) will knock your socks off. The beer is also excellent, Boneman Blonde is my favorite so far. The only one knock I have on this place is that on more than one occasion the service has been slow when high volume should have been anticipated, which is either a product of understaffing by management or a simple mishap of too many call-offs on the same day, either way it made dining with small children a large nightmare. I may be nit-picking though as we normally take the kids to dine there with great success. Even when I had a dish one time that didn't meet expectations the kitchen promptly rectified it. Don't miss this place!

Wow. This place was so good that we went back a few nights later. The pork tacos were delish and my sisters hamburger that had goat cheese and fig on it was amazing. Great selection of craft beers.

The food was terrible!! And expensive! They did do alright on the steak, but the Brussel sprouts were hard as rocks. The grilled cheese involved toasted bread with two cold pieces of cheese. You couldn't taste anything on the Italian sandwich except the lemon vinaigrette. The stout brownie was ok, but not fresh. One of the three beers I had were enjoyable. The cider was very watered down and had almost no flavor!

Dine there often. Love the dining areas indoor and outdoor. Great place to have a great burger and people (dog) watch. Chef's very consistent with food presentation and favor. Good selection of micro beers.

Special of the day flat bread with brie and goat cheese topped with roasted sweet potatoes,caramelized onions,bacon,black pepper and parsley it's a great balance of sweet and savory come check it out!!!!!

Good God Almighty I can't stop thinking about the food and beer I had here. They have such an excellent selection of Burgers & Beer so if you're looking for comfort food this is where you go. I usually eat vegetarian and they do have great vegetarian options but I just had to try the burger with fig and cream cheese. It was mind-numbingly delicious. Then I had the Finn River guest beer. That blew my mind. I tasted a lot like a beer I had in France. The menu is amazing the service is good the atmosphere is enjoyable. I was also impressed with the prices very reasonable for the amazing quality food.

Saw IN/Planes live the other night! Brues is a great addition to the Riverwalk and such a well planned use of space! If only we could utilize more of our aging spaces downtown for such lively and diverse purposes! Great performance venue, great food and drinks, and brilliant use of space!

Subpar food, very limited menu. Would only come here to drink. Hostesses could use an injection of personality. Maybe smile more. Would recommend for the kitchen staff to learn how to cook a pretzel.

Staff has always been friendly, on point and knowledgeable. Way better than bar food. Have had great meals, tasty deserts, and awesome coffee all in one night. Play trivia here in Weds nights, it's always fun.

Extremely disrespectful staff. From the bussers, servers, bar tender or manager. There's NOTHING more important than customer service, and when called out for receipt errors they resort to aggressive and rude demeanor than fixing or admitting fault.

Even in the midst of a pandemic, my first ever experience here was outstanding. The directions for ordering while outside were clear and concise. I managed to mess them up, but the friendly and accommodating staff were quick to aid me. Even though they were busy literally running around the restaurant - inside, outside front, back, inside, back patio - they were joyfully helpful. When the food was brought out by a server in a mask and wearing gloves, I had assurance that my food would be safe. It was delicious to boot. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my experience and I highly recommend a visit. 10/10 will visit again and hope to be able to get the experience inside next time.

We waited a total of 2.5 hours and never got our food manager said our food would be paid for and unknowingly to us it was actually cancelled. During this wait the waitress kept telling us our order was up next..... which obviously it was not. Kept hearing good things about this place it was most of our party's first time going. I will never return nor recommend. During our long wait we observed servers walking to tables asking plp if this was their order or drink.... they seemed to be very unorganized and not have their tables numbered. We ordered drinks during our long wait and were told multible times they went to the wrong table??? Thats never happened at any other restaurant! It was a interesting place sad we had such a horrible experience

A unique spot: brewpub, coffeeshop, music venue all inside an old police station. Quality libations (I enjoyed a few different ones - a milk stout IPA? Yes) and creative fare. When I'm back in Pueblo, I'll be back at Brues.
