Great beer menu, but they were missing g a lot of the beers I ordered. My friends and I loved all the food we got- especially the veggie burger. The rooftop patio is lovely, but there was not service available upstairs when we went. Not sure if this is the norm.

This is one of our favorite places in Pueblo. Right on the River Walk, with a great selection of excellent quality pub food, fun tasty drinks, and even good coffee and desert! Looks like they're also a concert venue! This place has it all, including a nice patio.

OMG! Flavor explosion experience inside every single cell in my entire body! The vegan slopper has definitely tickled my fancy! Especially considering the chefs took extra care to avoid cross contamination, for the sake of my health, and presented my sweet lunch special on a gluten free bun! My taa's taa's are titalated with glee! Somebody please kiss that chef.. give him a raise!! That guy needs a vacation! The French fries were crispy and brown! I appreciated every bite, thank you.. vegan friendly!!

The famous Pueblo Chilis live up to the hype here. Some vegan options featuring the Impossible Burger and more are available if you're into that sort of thing, and just enough variety in the menu is available without trying to offer too much. Only tried one beer here, which was a some type of sour. It was full of refreshing citrus and I can't say that I've tasted a beer quite as crisp before. All in all, nice place for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommended if you're spending time near the river walk in downtown Pueblo.

They have expanded their vegan options and we have been happy with that. Through the pandemic, it has been the only place we eat out. The fact that you can sit outside and it s clean help us enjoy the meal. Service continue to be superb!

Such a great place. One of a kind for design and hospitality. Was the old police station and the owners have incorporated the history into the new design. Staff is always friendly and the location is located in a great spot. The word clean does not explain how this place is maintained. Five stars Brues!!!!!!

Kind of disappointing not a good beer crowd food crowd inside and out. People gathered at bar eating food and dezerts. Plenty food tables available but they are using bar to eat. No room for someone just needing adult beverage. Never aproached by any staff left disappointed.

My wife and I have eaten there before and had a great time. This time we had a party of 7. The restaurant was not able to accommodate us. They didn't have enough staff. We were willing to wait 30 minutes for them to get the staff needed (due to breaks). The hostess wasn't willing to put two empty tables together, so we could at least get drinks, sit and talk. Really disappointed in the service tonight.

Excellent food. Great beer. Stellar service. I would give it five stars but my husband and I chose to eat on the patio because of covid and our table was right over a sewer manhole cover. Every so often the sewer smell would become overwhelming. It was very unappetizing to say the least. I am guessing they wanted to hide it by putting a table over it but it's very unfortunate if you happen to get seated there. Otherwise, I would definitely eat there again.

We had our office Christmas lunch at Brues. There were only seven of us and they said they don't take lunch reservations unless it is 8 or more people. Turns out it wasn't a problem. They got some tables set up and we were seated in no time. Our waiter, Eric, was pleasant and friendly, even in the face of my supervisor's unfunny and sometimes mean sense of humor. She gave him a hard time and then laughed about it because she thinks that's funny. But Eric smiled and took it all in stride.
The food was wonderful. Everybody loved their lunches. And our boss, down from Denver, was nice enough to let us all get desserts to take home. You need to try the cookies. They even have chocolate chip and green chili cookies. I didn't try one, as I don't like green chili, but you really can't get much more Pueblo than that and I applaud all things Pueblo.
You can see Brues from the street and from the Riverwalk. Getting in is a little harder. They have a ramp from one direction, stairs from another, but the easiest way to get inside is from the Riverwalk. If you don't come in from the Riverwalk, there are plenty of signs to lead you to the door. It is just a little roundabout.
All in all, a good lunch, despite my supervisor's sense of humor. I would go there for dinner with friends.

Had late lunch today.

Had late lunch today.
The service was friendly if a bit slow to get order but food arrived quickly once order taken.
I enjoyed the stout beer I ordered with lunch it was well balanced, a bit short on the head with a slightly over bitter aftertaste but for a local beer it was good.
The food was another story my wife had the pulled chicken sandwich which other than being a bit dry was ok. I had the stuffed bell pepper which was very good however the pepper should have been seeded better before stuffing. Bell pepper seeds are not particularly appetizing.
As for prices they are typical of that type of establishment and portion size was adequate
Overall an OK but nothing special experience.

Went for appetizers. Had the pork belly nigiri and fries. The fries were disappointing but edible. The lack a crispness the home made ketchup is unremarkable. I did not finish and do not recommend them. The pork nigiri was an interesting idea executed poorly. Way too much wasabi and I love heat. It overpowered the pork which was less pork belly and more pork. The rice was not well seasoned and would have been better if it was more sushi like. This was very disappointing. The beer is average. I do not recommend.

Brue's is the swankiest place in town, and for good reason. The food is world-class, the location on the river walk is fantastic, the owner is awesome, and the drinks are delicious. Make sure you try the giant Moscow Mule!

Pretty disappointed in this place. Saw a sign driving in from Colorado Springs. Came from brunch on Sunday, and had to sit outside, which was fine. Took the server a while to get to us, so when she finally did come, we were able to order right away. It still took nearly 50 mins to get our food. When we complained, she kind of just shrugged her shoulders and said well, everything is from scratch so it ll take a while . I wish I had know this would take hours - we would have gone somewhere else. When food finally came it was cold...don t feel like the food was worth the wait.

Been in a number of times, beer is never pulled to a full glass, often flat and way overpriced for its quality. Food is decent at very best. Staff at the bar is very unprofessional and will make patrons wait to even be greeted, serves are often rushed, rude, and show little interest in their jobs. Upper management is snooty and unfriendly.
And who brings a new born child into food service and prep areas to "hangout". Sure that is to health department standards. Food comes out either wrong, under or over cooked or just not edible. If I could give a zero rating that is what I would give. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS RESTURANT!! What you pay for is far from what you get!!

Food just wasn't very good, unfortunately. We were very excited for their opening but probably won't be back. Tried it twice and found the beer to be expensive, especially since they're making it themselves. Menu is limited and overpriced, ie $5 for one piece of pretzel, $13 for a hamburger with no side dish. Sorry but a couple of lettuce leaves isn't a side salad. The homemade sandwich rolls fall apart in your hands (not good).

Looking for YUM in Southern Colorado. One can t go wrong with a tasty meal and a quenching on location brew by Master Brewer TONY. The location is the former Pueblo Police Department - NOW Brues Alehouse. The service is totally top notch. The meal went down so fast wasn t able to take a photo. However met the pastry Chef Geoff who out did himself with a total Chocolate Decadence Cake. It even went well with the brew!
The place is right on the River Walk with frequently held in-house concerts. Plan ahead.
We were able to get a brief tour of the brewing facilities. By one of the owners. All German and the owners know what they are doing when it comes to brews & food! The food is 5 stars- quality takes time. So enjoy the brews and conversation with family and fiends your meal will be well worth the wait.
Totally family friendly!

Great food! I liked the gluten free options in the menu as well as with the pastries!
The only think I didn't like was that it took us 45 minutes for my son to get his PBJ sandwich and it took us nearly 55 minutes to get our entrees. They were very busy which I understand, we were just on a timeline and the wait set us back.

My friend and I had a very pleasant experience this evening! Suzanne (our server) was the best server that we have had on our Colorado trip. She had an amazing and lovely disposition. Our burgers and green chili stew were very memorable. The fig, goat cheese, and arugula burger will be my new home burger. The burgers were made of 80% chuck and 20% brisket - a really nice blend. Just go and enjoy!

This place is growing! being a brewery you won't find many selections they don't brew themselves but what they brew is comparable and satisfying. We sat at the bar and ordered an appizer which came in minutes! Assumed service for such a busy place would be slow but quite the contrary! First time here was different. Seems like they are figuring it out and everything coming together. Awesome staff too, we had 3 bartenders and all made sure we were happy and satisfied!!!!
