We ate at the Brue house last night. We were placed near a huge table of 30-35 people who proceeded to get drunk stand in front of our table and carry on while blocking our view totally oblivious to us. They all made sure that they were very rude, only caring about their huge crowd. They yanked chairs from our table as if we didn t matter, and the waiter never came back once he had the big table . Our dinner was ruined due to this and we couldn t get out of there fast enough. Be very very careful where they seat you because the workers there don t think . They have no qualms about jamming a couple next to a large boisterous crowd and then forget about you afterwards. Oh except to say here s your big bill.

Nice find for out of towners. Great location on the Riverwalk. Nice selection of house brewed beers. Menu is not huge but has nice variety. The green chili was tasty but be warned it has quite a kick! Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Prices are quite reasonable.

It's got that pretentious hipster vibe. On the waterfront, pretty young blonde waitresses, "vegan green chili", but make no mistake - it's a glorified burger joint. Burgers and sandwiches. The kind with brioche buns, lemon aoili (garlic, mayo, and lemon btw) and the fries that might as well have been from a bag. No beer-batter. No flavor. They've got a bar with a gal slightly older than the waitresses doing god knows, for some reason the waitresses can't handle 4 tables AND get drinks. You'd think that at half capacity (Covid 19) and on a Wednesday night food and drink would fly to the table - the menu is ENTIRELY $15 burgers, $19 French dip, $25 charcuterie board, but alas, 45 minutes for my burger and fries and my wife's Ice Cream. I'm not going to call out the waitress specifically, she was nice, but far from attentive. I waited 15 minutes after we ordered for my beer, 45 minutes for the burger and fries (finally asked her after 35 min), burger was well-done (why bother asking if I want it medium rare?), got my food and immediately asked for the check. Don't worry, I'm a keyboard warrior - I was nice about it...to which she ran my card and I asked her to bring me the receipt to sign; she forgot. She said, "I'll be right back", then made a half dozen trips to the back, got waters for her next table, checked in with the other table (never checked in with us), and finally I asked another passing girl for our check. Lo, the magic words. Girl comes rushing over and asks me if I'm sure I wouldn't like another beer. No apology. I just don't get it. I was a server (male) throughout college at a pub. The GM ONLY hired pretty girls to be servers - out of a couple dozen servers 5 were men. You HAD to be good. I couldn't rely on anything but getting that beer quick, making sure their food was correct and on time, and I used to print the check ahead of time and keep it in my apron (if they wanted more, I just printed another one and they were none the wiser). I made bank. Put me through University. What I'm trying to say is, go to Carl's Jr if you want a burger. Stop by natural grocers or whatever hotty totty store and buy yourself a brioche bun - you'll make it to both places before you get your single burger and fries at this place (and save money too). I'm late 20's by the way, not some crotchety old man (wife thought I sounded so)

Enjoy Brues every time we go. Let me say this. I enjoy the different flavors and sauce used by Chef Alex in his creations. That is what eating is all about. Example the red sweetie drops on top of the roasted garlic humus adds a pop to the flavor. You see it, you think, what the heck is that, you say to yourself, self try it, you dip, you bite, "Pop" , and think, that was different and good. So you chase down another one for the next bite.

This was our first visit. The menu consists of casual fare, burgers, sandwiches, tacos. We enjoyed the food very much, we had the shrimp tacos and the Italian sausage grinder. The tacos were made with nice fresh ingredients and the shrimp were grilled nicely. The grinder was huge and hard to manage but well cooked. The French fries perfectly crispy. Didn't really like the beer we got, the light ale was too bitter and hoppy, the pager did have nice notes of chocolate but was better than the light ale, but still not satisfying. Our server was very nice, and friendly he delivered the ticket in a very timely manner. He deserves a 5.
This old jail house has a very unique atmosphere and features both inside and outside seating. The out door seating is right next to a river and would be good for people watching.

Riverside outdoor seating with excellent brewhouse food and beverages. Service was prompt and friendly. Loved the Probation Lager, the American Bacon Cheeseburger was tasty and the Thai Chicken Wraps were a hit with the family. Soft pretzel appetizer was good, but small. Locally made ice cream topped it all off. Definitely worth a trip if you are in Pueblo.

We just had lunch here & the food was delicious, the waitress was attentative and the setting right on the River walk was incredible. Great place to eat, drink & enjoy people watching. It is also pet friendly outside. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Nice place to visit I would probably never come back took 2 hours to get our meal waiter was great with service, problem with the food coming out late, was just horribly late so just good food, little pricey

Beautiful place with a big beautiful bar...and just 1 bartender pouring during a peak hour despite a massive line. Seems it would be better for covid not having to wait in line 20+ mins for a round! :)

Went in for a redemption visit and was met with sour attitude and snarky service. Over-priced food quality was below average. Beers were okay. The server didn't even know what came with what and brought the wrong items. Was met with sarcasm every step. My suggestion? Save yourself the trouble and head elsewhere.

Brues has done it right. With the vibes, brews and good, everything is on point here. The looks of a big city brewery with the feel of a community brewery. This place is one of the top places to go.

My Favorite bar in Pueblo! And, if you ask me, the only Brewhouse in Pueblo. They have great venues, great food and friendly staff. Their beers are awesome! It has a beautiful view and is right on the Riverwalk!

Absolute worst service I've had in years. Food was fair at best. I ordered my food at 6 p.m. and my food arrived at 6:53 when I asked the manager about my order his reply was can I get you a to go box. I will never eat there again I am traveling and come through Pueblo often, eat at your own risk!!!! I was like a ghost sitting at the bar nobody would look at me or even asked me if I needed anything. What a let-down he restaurant is in such a cool place on the Riverwalk in Pueblo. . And to add insult to injury they didn't even offer to comp my meal after waiting an hour for my food!!!???

Was in town and wanted to try a highly rated local favorite, this place is just that. fresh ice cold brews and an awesome menu to go with it and you cannot go wrong. This bar/restaurant is located in the old jail and is tastefully decorated to reference what the building used to be. The menu is extensive but delicious, flights of in house beers are a must try.

Good brews and food and like every business they're doing what they can given the times. Currently it is strictly patio seating and reservations are highly recommended. Most areas/tables have a heater placed on them. The beer stays nice and cold, but it doesn't work out so well for the food so eat quick.

Amazing customer service, great beer and fanaminal coffee. Our waiter was the bomb, Tucker needs a raise. Owner dropped by our table. You can tell she really cares about the quality of service and product. Her son makes the beer, a brew master certified in Germany, he makes a great product. Will come again when traveling from Texas.

I ve been here twice. Both times I got cold nasty food and waited an hour for it. Once I got something I didn t even order and the waitress never came back with my food, awful service, WAY over priced for the quality The ice in our cocktails was pretty much melted by the time we got drinks, which was about 30 minutes after ordering. We won t be going back.

Wanted to give more stars but let's face it service and atmosphere can mean a ton. The beers were good, had the sour and the cherry, plus both ipas (pineapple and regular). The food was not so great... Shredded beef tacos were crazy dry... And very little flavor... They seriously needed some help. Chicken tenders were decent, just your standard variety, hot dog looked like it came from a 7-11 at about 230 in the afternoon, not hot at all. Shrimp tacos were probably the best of all four meals. Now service... Asked to start the kids food because... Well they are kids... Anyone with small kids will tell you they can't wait like adults so it helps to get them started. The server forgot, so we had to reorder their food when we ordered ours. His personality was that of the napkins on the table. Zero what I would call service, no personality (he seems like he absolutely hates his job), and the whole place except the young lady who greeted us felt that way. Truly depressing inside. This place could be amazing if the energy existed inside. I've never been in such a juxtaposed environment, nice decor, dark zombie like employees just gong through the motions. Hey maybe it's just night place. I have no idea... But.. Won't be back next time I'm through. Beers saved the third star.

Great location, service and food in the pubelo area. My friend and I stopped in for a show we got a vip table and everything was really well thought out. We ate a variety of things that night but everything was very lovely. We especially enjoyed we could have some coffee and treats without having to drink all night, but the beer selection was great too. I will return again to investigate more of the menu. Stop by for a little bit of fun you probably won't regret it.

Make a reservation on their website. We didn't but they got us in quickly. The food was amazing. I love their French fries and the homemade ketchup is to die for. I had the Prohibition beer and it was perfect.
