I purchased three kitchen appliances, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a gas range. I was told by my sales person (Kathy) that, as I was purchasing all three, installation would be free except of course, running the gas line for the new range. My propane provider did this at my expense. I subsequently have been billed by Brown's Appliance an additional $155 installation fee for the dishwasher and now I have received an additional invoice for $63.25 for a "flex line and a gas line". The flex line is apparently for the dishwasher, even though the installer commented that because the old one had one he would not need to charge for that. And, I am a little confused about the gas line since they left the range for my propane company to connect and adjust! These guys are clearly the biggest, game in town and they are taking advantage of that. When you call them at ask, no body knows anything untill you tell them what was said and what transpired, then they have an answer for that..."well I wasn't there." You are right, none of you were here, my propane guys were here doing the install..and yet you still bill me! BEWARE OF BROWNS APPLIANCE!

My Mom and Grandma have bought many different items there. They like them alot so when I needed a new mattress I went in and told them what I was looking for. I was shown two. I ordered one right then and there. The showroom is clean and packed with alot of items. I bought an extra firm king beauty rest. So far Iove this purchase. They delivered. They took the old one away. Electric beds were bought here by Mom and Grandma purchased. When a situation arises Browns would be there asap which I mean within reason of course. Highly recommend them because this far they have treated myself and my family well.

Why would anyone go anywhere else for home applian...

Why would anyone go anywhere else for home appliances? My 16-year-old refrigerator broke this morning. I phoned Brown at 8 am. The person I spoke with diagnosed the problem over the phone (busted autodefroster), got the serial number, and sent out two repairmen who arrived at 10a (27 miles away). It took them two hours to manually defrost and then fix the unit. In addition they checked out and cleaned everything including all the racks in the freezer! They could not have been more courteous and helpful. At the end, the bill came to $169. I have bought all my appliances from Brown and have never been disappointed not in the product and not in their outstanding customer service. Thank you!!!

I was very pleased with my experience with Brown Appliance. The customer service department is friendly and efficient. The delivery crew arrived when they said they would and were friendly and professional.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Brow...

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Brown's. My salesman Steve was honest, helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me choose the right dryer for my needs and budget. The delivery crew led by Matt was courteous and mindful. I was not home when they arrived, but Matt called to confirm the delivery had been made and asked if they should remove my old dryer. I very much appreciate the customer service from beginning to end. This is why I shop local.

Very helpful yet not overbearing employees knowledgeable about the product they sell on contrast to your chain stores. Though many options are higher end price range there are plenty budget options.

Big hearted and compassionate !!!

Big hearted and compassionate !!!
We just went there to buy a mattress, but it was a difficult time in our lives, and because of personal circumstances we had to cancel our original order. They did this without question.
And this is whats really remarkable,
When it was time to come back and buy the mattress, after having it delivered, we decided we needed a different one and they brought a different one out for us when they didn't need to.
Cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff was at Brown appliance and Mattresss!!!
We ended up with a great mattress at 0% interest and they were happy to take away our old mattress, for free.
We were treated very kindly at a time when that meant so much.
This is the way to do business. Don't see enough of that these days. We will be back when we need appliances.

Great Local Business! After buying a home, my wife and I purchased a new washer and dryer set from Todd at Brown's Appliance, who was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Fair price, and after they delivered and set up we discovered a leak in the washer. They came back in less than half an hour to correct a simple issue (missing hose gasket). While there my wife had asked about the dishwasher that was already in the home. They gave her advice and assistance, which they didn't have to do. I'm not even sure if they originally sold the dishwasher to the previous occupants. Their dedication to service and helping the customer is very well known in the community, and now I can say I've experienced it first hand. I will never purchase an appliance from anyone but Brown's, and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Local business with great selection. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, happy to chat and take as much time as you want, or work as swiftly and efficiently as you need. Very reasonable prices too.

Our washer broke suddenly during this pandemic and...

Our washer broke suddenly during this pandemic and we had a difficult time finding any in stock.
Until we called Brown Appliance. In just over a week, they had one here and installed and even removed our old broken machine. Friendly, efficient service at a great price.

I took my blueberry pie out of the oven and was about to slide in a batch of cookies when the temperature on my oven dropped. I placed a call to Brown Appliance at 2:30 pm. Joe arrived by 3:15, replaced the ignitor and at 4:00 the aroma of chocolate chip cookies wafted throughout the house. Best service ever! Thanks!
