From the first moment on the lot we were approache...

From the first moment on the lot we were approached with a kind helpful sales associate. We were directed to the Internet Sales department because we had made contact with Ed Futrell through email. Ed was assisting another customer so he sent Mr. Lee Clark out to help us and we were instantly impressed with the knowledge, non pushy, friendly personality he possessed. Our Finance manager was Awesome as well, the whole buying purchase was a pleasure and we will refer all our friends to Brown & Wood.

Went in for an 11am appointment for an oil change....

Went in for an 11am appointment for an oil change. Within 10 minutes of waiting on service was informed by Mr. Jeff that needed an alignment. Asked the additional time it would take. Jeff stated 45 minutes. Said ok to alignment and would be back to pick up suv after picking up daughter from school. Which is great for the 2 hour time frame set. When I returned at 2pm to pick up suv was informed that vehicle was not ready. Asked why its been 3 hours. First, informed oil change completed but not the alignment. So I asked to get my suv because after an 11am appointment didn't really have time to keep waiting. Jeff couldn't find my vehicle then. So I suggested he look in back parking lot in the gate. His statement was that may very well be the case. Then Mr. Jeff comes back to inform me nothing has been done to my vehicle in 3 hours. My response was just bring my vehicle around and give me my keys I have to be somewhere by 3pm. Mr. Jeff walked away to get my vehicle I thought, only to come by with the statement that the manager and himself just spoke with the tech and both services would be completed in 45 minutes. Its now 2:06pm. Decided to wait because nobody really has my keys in hand or drove my suv around. At 2:36 tech drives my suv around from service area. Wow, my thoughts were 30 minutes service is completed correctly, I dont think so. Mr. Jeff informed me there was no time to rotate my tires. Really, my thoughts are oil change and alignment in 30 minutes but can't rotate 4 tires in 10 minutes. Paid for alignment because my oil change is on extended contract so that was already covered. Feelings are my vehicle was kept only because my oil change was free and the only money could be made would be to charge for the alignment. Knowing it wasn't right just needed to get to school to pick up my son. No I don't have money to waste, but my kids always come first. So I didn't feel like wasting the energy or take the chance of being late to get to my son. Thats the only reason I paid without speaking with management personally. Just not satisfied with the whole experience. Long story short will only be using this location for oil change contract, all other service will travel to another location. This is not the first rush job or bad experience at this location.

Hands down the best service I have ever experience...

Hands down the best service I have ever experienced. The team was knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem while I waited. The service area was spotless, modern and convenient to drive right in. The waiting area had complimentary coffee and programs on the television everyone could enjoy. Greg was a pleasure and took his time to explain every detail perfectly. I was in and out with my issue resolved in a speedy manner. I highly recommend Brown and Wood to anyone!

Do Not Go To Brown & Wood!!!!!

Do Not Go To Brown & Wood!!!!!
The 1st day I went to Brown & Wood I got there a little before 5pm. The person that was helping me was calling the cars the wrong name. He told me that I could get one car then told me it was the wrong one. He walked away from me, and said he would be right back. He was gone for over 30 minutes. By the time he came back, it was about 7pm. I walked around for a few more minutes and about 7:30, he told me so you are going to have to wait until tomorrow because the bank closed at 5:30. My problem with that was he could have told me 2 hours before. Today I was called and told that they had better inventory in and I should come check it out I told them I had already found a car but if they had something better I would stop by. I went back today and the same thing happened. They then told me that I could get a certain car and could not. I will never ever go back to Brown & Wood because they tell you one thing but then it is something else. WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!!!!!! This is about the service not the cars.

Went to check out a vehicle, liked it even wit all the flaws on and in the vehicle. The price was 12k, I offered 11k because of the flaws. The offer was declined. Two price drops was done on the vehicle, my original offer for 11k was still declined. I called a third time with the same offer, and found out from a salesman they sold the vehicle for the price I was offering of 11k. WOW, Smh......I see why alot of people dont like dealing with car salesman.

We liked the way service department took care of leased automobile when it needed service. Sales department needs work and brush up on their professionalism. When the time came to turn in our leased vehicle, leasing a new vehicle became outside our budget. A senior employee suggested an option of EXTENDING the current lease. We thought it was a wonderful idea. We were given a number to call to make that happen. We thought we could do it right there at Brown & Wood, but were told that wasn't possible. After jumping through several loopholes and performing a few tricks and telephone prompts, GMAC, (not Brown & Wood, they're just a conduit) allowed us to extend our lease. What a great idea! However, we wish it were easier to do.

I've been to other dealerships in Roanoke Rapids area and I prefer Brown & Wood because you don't discriminate. The service people are honest and not just trying to make a buck, and the sales people let me drive what I wanted to test drive and not tell me what I can afford to drive and to me you have great sales people because Brown and Wood does not pre judge. no one knows where people can get money from, so thums up to Brown & Wood.

I came in and told them exactly what i wanted. Chris was able to put me on the exact Terrain that i was asking for. I got my wife to come look at it and CT just blew my mind away with what he gave me for my trade. Even helped us get DVDs in the headrest like we wanted. Everything was quick and painless. We got everything done fast and simple. I have already sent a few people back to Chris. He was a nice gentlemen. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Service workers was kind and respectful. I ask them to ck my driver side tie for a nail after the oil changed. They did and in formed me it had a nail on the side so they couldn't patch or pug it. I needed a new tie,price 189. I said dont have that much money today,so I paid for the oil change. The next week I took the car to Firestone, they couldn't find a nail in the tie no where. They told me I been putting to much air in the tie and got the sensor off or something like that. They let some of the air out ,correct the sensor. Tie doing good two weeks later.

The staff is top notch and the small town atmosphere takes the stress out of purchasing new vehicle. My husband and I leased a new Verano 3 years ago with Tim Conyers ..who went above and beyond to keep his word and get me into the car I wanted.....Tim and this dealership made me believe that if you don't give up eventually someone will give you the chance you deserve...I kept the car in mint condition with the intent to purchase it at the end of my lease and pass it on to my son on his birthday....Well due to the Hurricane and other events we joined a "debt settlement program" believing we were doing the right thing we caused our credit to plummet even with perfect car payment histories on two new vehicles...we literally believed we were going to lose the car and that we would be unable to get into another one remotely equivalent to the Verano,I felt hopeless yet Brown and Wood ,Mike ,Ct and Tim kept assuring us to get our papers in order and a deposit and they would find a way ...We had lost hope and went back in one last time ...Tim was not in at the time and we honestly felt terrible for putting him through so much stress over this car..so we ended up sitting with Anthony Goins he was sincerely a nice man with a genuinely calming kind demeanor...if I had to be told there was nothing they could do ...it would have been bearable coming from him...that's how friendly he was...That didn't happen and they got everything done in a couple hours and our stress was over.... we got our car and they will get any business we can ever help send their way and an honest Thank You from myself and my little family. We truly appreciate and are grateful that we ended up walking through your doors three years ago....

Brown & Wood called me to set up an appointment to change my oil. I got there early and they took me right in. I had my oil changed, air filter put in and they plugged my tire. They also rotated my tires. It was done in no time. Great experience.

If you take your car into them to work on, they will replace what they think is the issue and it may be needed. However if the same issue comes back they will tell you there is no way to foretell the future, via Mr. Stein. I can foretell you something Brown and Wood will never get another dollar from my family. I have owned Cadillacs for 15 years going back to el dorado and i am finally done thanks to them. Which is OK. I am heading to the ford store in Tarboro this weekend for a new SUV. A Buick encore which surprisingly enough my wife had been wanting to get at Brown & Wood. Darn shame that a 3k valued car mis diagnosis is gonna cost them a 45K purchase. As well as the maintenance of the new car as well. Karma.

My experience with Brown and Wood was extremely awesome. I gave the salesman the type of vehicle I was interested in with the options I wanted and he took it from there. Curtis Whitley went above the call of duty. He contacted my bank and processed the paperwork with my personal banker. He called my insurance company and gave them the vehicle information. He prepared all the paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle and delivered the vehicle to me. Curtis made purchasing a new vehicle extremely easy and stress free. Spent my day there yesterday, 11/20/14. It started with Greg in service. Nothing but a class act. He was very informative and a pleasure to deal with. I then spent the day with Micah, the salesman. Another class act. We ended up trading in the vehicle we brought in for service, and Micah made the purchase as painless as possible. Eric, Curtis, William Smith.....everyone I dealt with had a smile on their face and was eager to help. I don't want to buy a vehicle again for a while, but when I do I'm going back to Brown and Wood to see if Micah is still there. You should do the same.

The service guy was awesome. He stated I should of had 2 free coupons and I didn't and he took care of that. My salesman Anthony did not have a clue about it. The service guy stated my first to service should be free I immediately called Anthony later that day and he stated it was only one YESTERDAY. Well I asked Anthony that when the service was scheduled in February and he stated I would have to pay out of pocket. Now its one free service. I'm hoping for two as the service guy stated.

Good sales staff, disappointed that someone was allowed to drive my special order truck, had too many miles/hours on it to be special order, also need to pay more attention, improvement to final detail-wash-cleanup footprints were in bed of truck, tires were motley looking and smears, wipe marks inside on dash. Had to pay for floor mats that were suppose to be included in original X31 off road and protection package which I included with my order.
