Nice beer in a simple place. It can be very busy but everything is mixed up, from tourists to locals and business people, which makes it so much fun. You can only get some cheese, peanuts, a hard boiled egg or beef sausage, which really only adds to the atmosphere.

They have a good beer, and some snacks on the menu. I would gave wanted to have more information about how they make the beer since its a brewery because it looks like a regular bar. Would recommend the ijwit beer its 6.5 percent but very tasty! The place is a bit far from the center but easy to get with a tram

Delicious beer, affordable prices. Bar snacks are good. Very crowded but still can find a spot on communal tables.

Impossible to pronounce, but really great microbrewery. Under a large classic windmill this pub showcases their own beer. Really nice choice of different beers on tap as well as many bottles. It was packed with locals when we were there, but all were friendly and it was a great atmosphere. The goat cheese they seem as a small is also really good.

What a glorious place for a beer. Lovely in summer thanks to the large dehors, extremely packed and sometimes chaotic while ordering, this is a must go for anyone interested in beer culture and a phenomenal location, complete with a real windmill.

Excellent brewery - great selection of beer as well as an incredibly tasty cheese and sausage platter. Only downside are the stairs down to the restrooms, which are steep and seem like a joke against anyone who's had a few :p Definitely recommended!

Not a nice bar to quietly drink a beer because of the large crowds (tourists) and the self-service.

Nice location and superbier. On Friday afternoon it can be very busy with many tourists. Can also be fun again of course. They also have good bites for it with all that beer, so you don't have to go hungry. Pay attention, because they close early!

It is a very dutch brewery. Good place for beers and snacks, the most emblematic old windmill in the city, regular price, good service. if you visit Amsterdam you must try this place too. Need more tables.

Easy to get to on the tram. More beers than you can pronounce available. English speaking staff that suggest great beers.

Suggestive place, really positive beers, very popular, a lot of movement and chaotic but pleasant atmosphere especially in the outdoor area.

During our few nights in Amsterdam we kept seeing and tasting their beers all around town so we figured we should check out the brewery! We were not disappointed although we must have timed our visit during rush hour as it was near impossible to find a seat or a place to hover. But around 7 the place thinned out and we were able to enjoy some cured meats and St Bernardus cheese.

A very popular place, very energetic, a great place to taste the Dutch beer.

Great variety of clientele. We were here 5 minutes before they opened and about 20 people crowded the entrance when they opened.

Excellent beer bar, good atmosphere, wide choice at reasonable prices. The principle is that the glasses are small but not expensive (2.50-3 ), which allows you to taste several. Nice little snacks. Quite full, however, so there is a risk of standing despite the size of the room.

Second visit here, if anything the craft beer scene has moved on and the beer here hasn't changed, to some.that may be a good or a bad thing, for me perhaps I am looking for a little more in a beer nowadays, but still a great experience and a must visit in Amsterdam.

We took the 10 tram down here and had a blast. It was a Saturday and it was busy with sun beaming down, and the beer was flowing. Snacks are available too. Wish my hometown had one of these. Great place to meet people and talk shop!

My favourite windmill in Amsterdam. Great place for great beer. The only possible downside is that they can be very busy. But the long tables give the opportunity to strike up a conversation with locals or tourists.

The best brewery But be careful with the price of tapas, which are worth more than a whole pig in Granada

When the sun is out this is a great place to grab a beer. The beers themselves are relatively affordable too! It gets crowded with tourists that want to take a picture with the wind mill, but you also see a lot of diverse Dutch crowd here. Great!

Can be crowded busy and loud. But is a pleasure to be here on a summer afternoon. Nice beer, good munchies, very well priced. the terrace is nice to sit on a warm saturday afternoon. Prost!

A brewery which is built in a windmill...u cannot miss it. It has outdoor and indoor seating with lot of beer on tap plus finger food to go with beer. It is normally crowded ...it is self service for both food and beer. Has a chic crowd

One of the places I managed to squeeze in a short time I spent with a friend in Amsterdam, and I was so happy she took me there. Humming with life and vivid conversations, an eclectic mix of people enjoying organic beer and finger food, this must be the place to try on a nice sunny day. The terrace outside seemed welcoming, although the temp in February was not, so we stayed inside and peaked at those brave enough to enjoy their beers outside. Fear not, inside is big, and you'll always find a corner or a place at the bar to squeeze with friends.

Really great brewery next to an iconic windmill. Be careful as flights end at 5pm however!

Had a tour by a new guide, she was a bit chaotic, but full of enthusiasm and passion for brewing beer. She explained the process very well. Afterwards, I enjoyed the beers, they have great brews and friendly staff.

Excellent beer and a nice little place. Maybe a little too touristy for my taste

On a sunny day this place can be very busy but it's worth the visit. The beer is really good and the service is fast even when it's busy. Unfortunately they don't always offer the tasting flight: when it's busy they stop serving it. We'll worth a visit though. The windmill itself is very pretty.

Mega friendly staff, good beer and casual atmosphere in a nice location with a large terrace. Also suitable for small groups because the terrace consists of large picnic tables. Order at the bar. Indeed quite a few tourists but that can also be fun. It is recommended to visit the buffet restaurant Spirited (vegan options) on the other side of the bridge (it closes at 8 pm).
