Nice location, bad service and horrible food. After 1.5 hours wait we were finally seated at 3 pm and starving. The waiter left one basket of bread for our party of 6 and we had to ask for more so each person could have a slice. It was old, stale and cold. After taking our drink order the waitress disappeared for another half hour. When our food finally arrived the fish and chips were bland and had no seasoning. Same was true for the $19 seafood pasta. The tiny scallops and shrimp were boiled and had no seasoning. Pasta was completely dry with a few tomatoes and garlic. Very disappointing! Never going back!

The views are great, especially when patio dining and over looking the harbor. Overall the atmosphere is great. The food is okay, nothing special and a bit overpriced. Great bar with a great beer selection.

The Happy hour isn't that Happy , especially when it's over and you are now getting charged 9.00 dollars for shity house wine and not realizing it. Happy hour shrimp cocktail 9.00 for 4 shrimp it was good but vary stingy .much better deals elsewhere. But great atmosphere .but loud

I stayed on a "boatel" on the dock and my friends and I ordered takeout. The food is incredible! We're gonna remember this place when we're in the area again. I don't usually care much for chowder, but I loved the chowder here. Highly recommended!

Food is mediocre at best, service is poor. It's got a beautiful location and a stunning view of the harbor, otherwise it's the kind of place where you have to ask the bus boy to find your waiter after sitting fifteen minutes waiting for a second beer and a region in your soft drink. I was looking forward to some really good fish and chips but was served mushy fish in a soggy, fried breading. I'll take Spencer Mackenzie's any day of the week over this place. Oysters were good though..

This place is on the second level and I didn't see an elevator or a way for handicapped to get up to the top. Great views of the Ventura harbor. The new England clam chowder was very creamy and delicious. House Salad was good. I ordered the seafood pasta (If you are not a fan of tomatoes make sure to tell them. This dish comes with lots of tomatoes.i forgot to tell them). We also got the shrimp scampi which was okay not as flavorful as some of the other places I frequent but it is still good nonetheless.

location is nice and the service is ok. However, the chowder and cioppino we very disappointing. You would think a place next to the ocean would at least have some descent versions of these dishes....you would be wrong.

Great service, to die for clam chowder, and delicious entrees. Had the seabass and the swordfish. Both wonderful! Chris was our server and over the top! Highly recommend! #roadtrippersrus #trippytripster101

We used to drive to Santa Barbara just to eat there and have many of our favorite dishes, and spend the night. Then when they opened in Ventura, we were so excited, we would go there twice a month on Saturday or Sunday. I told many of my customers to go there, because it was a great value without LA prices. It's a beautiful ride up the coast. Well my friends, that is no longer the case. Over time the prices have been increasing dramatically, to the point where it's not as much fun to go there as often. SO SAD!

Fantastic views and a great selection! The scallops in the Seafood Pasta were incredibly rich and well cooked, the broth-like sauce was extremely light and complemented the seafood wonderfully.

Salmon filet on salad was amazing. Our server was prompt and attentive. The fish and chips is enough for 2 and was delicious. Host seated on the patio with hardly any wait after offering indoor or outdoor seating.

Even with the wait being a little long...it was so worth the wait. Not only were the employees very nice and attentive, the food was amazing! Had the sword fish with rice pilaf and clam chowder.
Wife had salmon dinner, the spinach and shrimp sauce that came with the dinner was very good.
Can't wait to go back.

Gosh, this place is amazing. I'm a foodie and I've eaten in many restaurants around the valley. Ten is most definitely in my top 3. It's affordable and the food NEVER disappoints. I can eat their shrimp and grit cake and pot roast everyday. Plus service is amazing, and drinks are good.

Happy hour is great! Super affordable and absolutely delicious. Margarita on the rocks and cheap & strong! The fish and chips blows Andria's out of the water but don't take my word for it....try it. YUMMY

I've been here several times w/ co-workers during the day time (no dinners). I really love the place, especially sitting outside on the patio w/ a view of the water and the boats, it is really serene and relaxing. The service was great and the food came out promptly. The clam chowder is EXCELLENT, a little better than at Andria's which is right across the parking lot, but the food is more expensive. I liked the fish and chips too, the fish tasted more fresh, not like the frozen, processed, dry battered fish that is all to common elsewhere. The fish was juicy and hot.

Ventura is the bomb and Santa Barbara has a poor customer relations. It's way overated in S.B. it's almost a nightmare just to be there let alone the grabby bartenders who shouldn't be bartenders. They have a bad attitude and should be fired. Didn't like the SB at all compared to Ventura. Night and day difference.

He got their ceviche, which he enjoyed a lot, along with their Oktoberfest beer. I had their grilled chicken sandwich was delicious, it also came along with a side of coleslaw and fries which was enough food to practically feed the both of us.This is certainly one place we will be coming to more often now.

I left my receipt at the restaurant and was traveling for business. And, I needed a copy to turn in, so I emailed to ask for one. I immediately had an email back telling me they would have it to me within a few days! Fantastic service, and they emailed it to me within a few hours. I have been a patron of the Brophy Bros in Santa Barbara for twenty years. Now I am an even bigger fan! Thank you Brophy Bros. And, you are always worth the wait in Ventura or Santa Barbara.

Great restaurant! The host and waitress were very accommodating. We sat right by the fireplace outside with tables appropriately separated. I had the fish and chips, which was delicious. Generous portions for sides and all three of our meals were great. Not too expensive either. Would definitely go back!
