Great location, delicious breakfast, front desk staff so helpful, Fiona, Sarah and Sean!
Very friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable Excellent location
Nice contemporary hotel. Dropped in for a coffee with a friend. Friendly service. Coffee was okay.
Friendly but inexperienced bar staff. Asked for an "Old Fashioned", certainly wasn't what I got. Floor staff didn't understand English well enough. Disappointing
Very clean. Perfect walking distance for many of the sites in Downtown Dublin
An excellent place for those looking for somewhere to work in Dublin City. There is free wifi and excellent coffee available. It tends to get quite busy at lunchtime, but The Jasmine Cafe is my go-to place for meetings in town.
Really handy location with a great feel in the streets surrounding. We were right at the front and had no issue with noise. The room was well presented and nice touches with services provided such as a turndown service, availability of different pillows to aid sleep.
I left my wallet in the safe and was contacted once this was discovered as I hadn't even realised myself because of travelling; the staff contacted me and after filling out a form to allow payment for postage it was sent to me.
I can't thank the staff enough for forwarding it on #lifesaver. The only down point was the cooked breakfast, I've had better in cheaper hotels but it was ok but just ok.
The staff are a credit to this hotel!! There is really handy car parking right out the front, just double check which one you book as there are two!
This hotel is right in the middle of everything in Dublin. Less than a 5 minute walk to the Molly Malone Statue, it's close to tons of pubs, restaurants, and the famous sites. The room was very nice with an old time radio playing music quietly when you walk in the first time. The bed is quite comfortable and the room is very quiet despite being in such a loud area of the city. It also has air conditioning that allows you to set the desired temperature, which is quite a treat in Dublin on a warm and humid night.
Staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Location was centrally located.
I had a lovely evening in this lovely hotel last night. The staff were so friendly and although a city centre hotel still gave a very personal touch. Well done to all. Definitely worth a visit. We will return.
Nice big comfortable lobby...food was good though portion of fish and chips was just that...no peas...and on the smaller side.
Not a place for your trendy twenty something's however if you are looking for a comfortable drink in city centre without mad crowds this is the spot cracking pint of guinness
Good service and nice food. Reasonable prices, nice and quiet spot for lunch.
Super rooms and breakfast but very pricey. Nice staff
PARKING HOUSE is closed at 2 a.m. Be careful if you have to be back at the airport very early ... so to return a rental car or something.
Otherwise very pleasant hotel. Very centrally located and nice rooms.
Modern and comfortable hotel close to Temple Bar and not far from St. Stephen's Green. Friendly staff and a nice hotel lounge with good selection of whiskey. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back next time I stay in Dublin.
Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff and breakfast is excellent
Perfect city hotel to explore Dublin!
Part of Small Leading Hotels of the World.
2 Minutes away from the Temple Bar district in the heart of Dublin
Public bar/restaurant is very comfortable with great food and lots of space.
Good location. Clean ,tidy. Good breakfast tho small portions
The Brooks hotel was a great place to stay after a long flight from the United States. It is pretty much in the center of all the action in Dublin, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The staff was very pleasant, very helpful, and everyone is so nice. The waiter below, seems to be overworked, and a little bit unpleasant. But what is perfect in life? I love the Quaintness of the hotel. The parking across the street is a bit of a hassle, but there is parking. In Dublin is very hard to find parking, and this hotel makes it very efficient. The rooms were nice and clean. And even the maid service was very pleasant. If I do stay in Dublin again I will definitely stay in this hotel.
Staff make the deference and here it is very positive
Very good hospitalality, rooms very nicely furnished & in city centre ,every monuments are at walking distance.
Enjoyed our stay
The AC isn't working and we called about an issue with the iron... No one came to help.
Lame value. We are not impressed.
Told the staff of our anniversary visit... No upgrade or complimentary breakfast like the other reviews.
Perfect location for a city centre break. Lovely boutique hotel. Nice quiet rooms, great showers, Good breakfast and friendly staff. Bars, restaurants, and shopping on the door step.
Excellent service, staff, food. Truly will pamper you
Fine but feels worn and old fashioned. Great location.
Location, location, location. Outstanding 4 star hotel - close to everything (see pics) in downtown Dublin. Eateries, parks, etc are all within an easy 15 minute walk. We also used the local Dublin train service DART, which was an easy 15 minute walk away. The hotel is well staffed - they are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. Ashley at the front desk did great job of situating us when we arrived early. Shane was a wonderful and thoughtful concierge who was on top of his game with solid insights. Actually, everyone, from housekeeping to the staff in the restaurant were friendly and accommodating - they never rushed to get to the next guest, made sure that you were taken care off ... . We were here over St Patricks Day weekend and asked for a 'quiet' room - no problem with noise at all.
Would highly recommend and stay here again.
Excellent location, nice hotel...would definitely stay here again!
The Brooks Hotel was very clean, friendly staff, and an amazing Irish breakfast!
Hotel in the heart of Dublin. Clean rooms that have a local Irish bed and breakfast feel. The staff is amazing. They know you by name and will do anything to make your stay pleasant. Highly recommend staying here!
Awesome stay in Dublin! Had an awesome concierge that will assist you with every need from food to sights. Had an awesome handy phone that you can bring with you anywhere that has free calls and helps you with everything!
Fantastic hotel..what really makes it is the staff, very welcoming and accommodating from the get go! Will definitely be back!
Great location downtown amidst lots of great shopping & food. Later check-in time than we're used to, but manageable. Staff is courteous & eager to help
Terribly noisy room, the bellman forcefully dropped my laptop bag from a height not realising it was mine as I stood there then laughed to the reception about it in front of us. Location is good but the service and quality of the rooms needs urgent review.
Prefect location and the staff was amazing! The last night of our stay while packing up, I pulled a Kleenex out of my jewelry box and threw it away not thinking anything about it. While mid-flight on my return to the US I suddenly realized I had put the necklace I had bought at Waterford in the tissue so it wouldn't get tangled up with other things. Sure enough when we landed and I checked it was gone. Now it was 3am the next day in Ireland so I had to wait until the next morning to call. So here I call explaining a day and a half ago I stayed at your hotel and threw my necklace away in a Kleenex by chance did you find it. They hadn't but said they would check further and get back to me. You can imagine my shock when they called a couple of hours later to tell me they had found it! They mailed it back to me in Wisconsin and I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend this place!
First couple nights of our vacation was spent here. The food was wonderful, the service was polite, and the rooms were clean and had air conditioning. This Hotel is in a prime spot where you can walk to most of the attractions and the ones that you cannot you can catch the hop on hop off bus within 5 blocks. Would stay here again.
Terrible, after a long day there was no restaurant instead tables next to the very noisy bar, terrible experience, 1 Star.
Addition- ok a bad first experience after a long day. There was an event that had caused the noise. After a few days stay I d like to improve the review. The rooms and hotel in general are very well kept and the service is excellent including a turn down service. The management seem to be on top of any issue also which is good. I would stay here again.
My stay was great! My family was in dublin for 3 nights at the Brooks Hotel. My parents shared a room and my sister and I shared a room. The service was great, the front desk ladies were so nice and each person that nocked on my door was even nicer. You even had the option to change the type of pillow you had if you needed. The shower was the best i had my whole 10 days around ireland. I even had to put my suitcase on a chair (my sister was using the spot for a suitcase) and when i came back to my room hours later they had nicely placed it on a fold-up suitcase holder. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!
Our recent stay in Dublin was fantastic. The Brooks Hotel is centrally located, has an extremely helpful staff and is a lovely place.
Very, very good everything is there: service, concierge, great rooms ...
Location was fantastic and staff were very friendly
Brooks Hotel is that rare thing - a cosy 5* City Centre Hotel. It's smack bang in the best part of Dublin City centre being less than 100m from the essential Grafton Street (essential that is, till The Dundrum Shopping Centre took over it's functional significance) and it manages to exude calm & quiet sophistication in that understated way reminiscent of far grander hotels. All this without any of the accompanying snobbish sophistry that often accompanies 5* hotels makes The Brooks a very comfortable haven for in-the-know locals, let alone outside visitors. It's bar is generally very well stocked with more than the requisite essential libations; it's Whiskey Bar is another matter again, boasting over 150 of the worlds best whiskeys.
I was somewhat saddened to find - for us 4 at least - that the restaurant did not quite live up to its reputation. While the cuisine was overall quiet satisfactory, the seating, & the ambience friendly, the flavours were not as notable as expected.
While I have not slept in the bedrooms, my friends whom I recommended the hotel to have, and were most pleased with it. I visited them in the rooms and found them to be most decent indeed with generous quality fittings and comfortable armchairs (I'm unsure if all rooms had them or were only in the executive rooms). This last is very essential prerequisite for me since I suffer from lower and upper back problems and I often judge a hotel by the presence or absence of such amenities.
Great hotel in the city center. Walking distance to a number of things and the staff was very accommodating. Would highly recommend.
Comfortable and quiet - good venue for a business meeting
Short staffed, over priced. But the bar staff were fabulous! Couldn't have been more helpful even though they were getting hammered. They are a credit to the company.
A very good hotel. This is the second time I stayed at this very comfortable hotel.
The welcome at the reception and check-in are fine and very polite. The rooms are spacious, beds are good and a compliment to the housekeeping as the room and bathroom are very clean.
The hotel is perfectly located near the center and although it's a busy street the rooms are very quit.
Sure my next visit to Dublin I will stay at Brooks again.
The only thing I do not understand is the way breakfast is being served.
Stayed at brooks hotel for 1 nite with my wife, the room was great and the staff were brilliant. Would definitely stay there again.
A little slow about checking in, however had a wonderful stay, staff was very friendly, and helpful.
Ok as meeting point before going on elsewhere or as last pit stop for night cap. Not great spot to spend an entire evening.
Great hotel for the price, excellent room and brilliant breakfast.
Great lobby with restaurant, parking just across the street, great location just beside lost society.
Great hotel in centre of dublin. Staff are so friendly, rooms are lovely and excellent breakfast.
Very clean with great service. Food was lovely too. Would recommend.
Used to come here a lot , found the Food mediocre and service slow due to only one staff member been in bar all the time
This place is great. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice place to stay in Dublin that's juuuust outside the touristy areas. Close enough to get to places, far enough away that you can get to places you'll want to go. Hotel was very nice, very clean. Rooms were modern and luxurious. Great place for the price.
Whiskey bar terrific food very good. Room's very clean. Location perfect.
We had a great stay here. We were celebrating our anniversary so the staff gave us a complimentary room upgrade which was so nice! I really enjoyed the area. There were lots of little shops and plenty of pubs and restaurants to check out. It was less than a 10 minute walk to lots of popular spots like the Ha'Penny bridge and Grafton street. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. Recommended!
Hotel was very clean quiet and comfortable. Location was great right in the middle of the city didn't have to walk far to get to attractions.
Arrived into Dublin on the first day of our stay at 6am and although we could not check in just yet, we were able to store our luggage, given access to a club lounge and recommended several locations for breakfast nearby. Excellent location, hospitality and friendliness.
Comfy bed and a Choice of pillows. Decor was lovely and the umbrella and mobile phone to use were thoughtful touches. Great choice of breakfast I had the scrambled egg and smoked salmon which tasted great and staff were friendly and prompt on service
Friendly service and close to most amenities I needed during my (business) trip. Comfortable room/bed and unfussy complimentary wi-fi was appreciated. Whisk(e)y bar had great selection but none of the spirits are what you could call cheap, even for hotel prices!
I have stayed in Brooks many times and i took one star off only if you want a lie on it can be noisy in the morning time with doors slamming!
A bit dated, but clean and friendly. Great location
