Great bookstore. Lots of choice and knowledgeable staff

Was looking for children's books. There was a very annoying saleswoman. Then we left quickly and were treated nicely at another bookstore. Not recommended.

It's okay they have some books. English books are there as well, not the greatest writers buy I guess people don't do that these days.

What a beautiful and what a large, spacious bookstore. They have everything. And every now and then great artists perform. Today Stephanie Struijk seen there, how good it is! Good sound system, well cared for.

A super bookstore! Right in the middle of the city center! It really is Mega Groot !!!! Have 2 floors !! And you can really find everything there! Literature, history, thrillers, crime, culinary, travel, science, young adult, children, music, games, records, calendars, second-hand books, English language, maps, country and post, etc ... They also have great staff they know what they are talking about for all your questions!

Fine bookstore in the middle of the city. I have been here for almost 40 years and it is always with great pleasure.

Great book store, even better since they included a second hand part...

Located right in the old center, on the Oude Gracht and next to the library. Plenty of floor space, lots of choice, even on subjects that are not so common. There are seats to quietly browse and book. Also selling language-based games, lots of cards and magazines. Good department for children's books but also look at the two children's book shops around the corner. Reisgiden ok but also for this is a specialized travel books store in the city.

Always good for a 1-2 hour snooping around, and you often come home with something nice!

The store is nice but expensive. I went to look for the next book in a series and it was 10% more expensive here than at another store where I had bought my book 1-2 months ago, also viewed this book by price

If you go for spiritual books then it is meager. With the disappearance of the Wijze Kater, only the webshop remains. Too bad.

The only large bookstore in Utrecht. Fortunately, he's still there. I buy all my books here.

Beautiful bookshop in a beautiful historic building

In spring 2020 the place moved to another within Utrecht city centre! Some photos are now outdated.

The move to the new building is a major improvement. It looks great. Nicely decorated! Also nice to drink coffee there, with a view of the canal. The only downside is that the price of the sandwich is so very high.

It is not that atmospheric, but they compensate for that by having a lot of books.

So many books tweedehands Second-hand too! But still quite expensive, so if you are really looking for second-hand, better go to a second-hand shop such as Emmaus.

I have seen many bookstores in the Netherlands. The new Broese booksellers is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Great place, wide range. Place to be!
