Nice shop, partly new, partly old post office that overlap. Well with the corners, corridors, stairs, galleries and seating areas.

This is a large bookstore with a lot of choice. About many different themes and topics and as you see in the photos has more than just books. Store is large enough to hang around for a while and see if there is something interesting in between. I come there myself with some regularity when I'm in the area.

A large bookstore in a lot of ways. While great to just stroll around, pick some books off the shelves and have a look at them, I miss the bit of cozy feel. They now try to give that in their Harry Potter-section in the basement, but if you're not feeling the HP-fandom this is a part you can immediately skip. While the staff might have some personal recommendations the place doesn't feel like you'll walk up to them and ask for it either when looking for a birthday present or for something for yourself as your next read. However, their size gives them - as mentioned earlier - a great selection of all sorts of titles and genres and this is always nice. The space is big and open, letting in lots of daylight which is very nice when trying to pick a title.

Books! Lots of books! Dutch and a pretty impressive assortment on English.

If you can't find book in the store, you can order it and pick it up within 3-4 days. If you a looking for books that are not really popular, I would recommend to check there website first.

Book palace! Broese has a wide assortment of books. They have the latest romans as well as books about science and art. Many books are available in Dutch as well as English.
