Totally enjoyed the hand-crafted Gourmet Burger, the friendly service and the open atmosphere on a late Tuesday afternoon. Fries were crispy and the ranch dressing yummy. Loved the bacon, cheese and cranberry-blueberry mustard on the burger! Can't wait to return with more friends!

A bit on the pricey side, especially for Astoria, but everything was perfectly executed from the service, to the cuisine and wine, so it was worth it. Great focus on local ingredients, and a beautiful interior (don't be put off by the building exterior).

Zero sense of urgency or awareness. This is the kind of thing you can coach up, so someone at the top doesn t know how to instruct their people to greet people within less than 10 seconds, much less 10 minutes. I could ve probably served myself and the other people waiting at the bar in the time it took them to get to us. The food was great, but I almost didn t wait around long enough to learn that.

Had good fish and chips for lunch. Nice spot with a great view. Service was fine. I d go back when visiting Astoria although there are better places in town if food is your priority.

We stopped at the Bridgewater on our way down to Cannon Beach and very much enjoyed our experience there. The food was quite good, nuanced and well presented. The Anchovy Boquorones Caprese was well constructed. Desserts were a high point. The server was helpful and prompt. The winelist is quite impressive, specializing in Oregon wines, but with many selections from WA and other places. Recommended for either a nice dinner out, or for a later dessert/drink stop.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Started with an aperol on the rocks with a twist. It is a good sign when a restaurant offers multiple amari - cynar, campari, fernet-branco, and aperol in this case.
We had pan-fried oysters and deep-fried calamari for an appetizer. Both were tender and delicious.
The main course was crispy-skin salmon with asparagus and baby potatoes. The salmon was perfectly cooked and very tasty.
They have an extensive wine selection. I just had their house white, pinot gris, which was light and crisp.
We finished with a cheesecake with raspberry and roasted rhubarb compote. Sweeter than I like, but still good.
The room, location, and view are excellent. The service was exceptional.

This post was only for the one interaction I had with the hostess. She was very unfriendly, not accommodating. When we asked what time we would be sat she just gave us a laundry list of reasons why she couldn't seat us. But wasn't able to give us a time. I'm sure the food and service is wonderful here

This was my first time here and I was really impressed with how hard they are obviously trying. The building is beautiful, the staff is great, the river/bridge view is insane and the presentation of the food was amazing. We opted to go with 5 small plates in lieu of traditional entrees and the choices were great. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect night was the food itself I thought lacked a memorable flavor. All 5 of our plates seemed very cautious even though they were presented so beautifully. I kept waiting to take a bite and having that WOW moment but it just never happened. But overall this is a really great dining experience and I am glad we came.

So good! Meat eater or vegetarian there's something for everyone. Hungarian mushroom soup was delicious and I've never had a kale salad so good. Pretty good smoked salmon too. Live piano music and great service made for a great afternoon. Right on the waterfront too.

First, great server. She made the meal. The savory crab cheese cake was phenomenal. Great flavors, fresh crab. The crab mac n cheese was tasty but no cheese sauce. It was more mac and crab with bread crumbs. Beef shoulder was perfectly cooked, slight crust and light sauce. Quail was moist and flavorful. Salmon perfectly seared. Would go back.

Absolutely beautiful interior. Service was great, food was delicious if a bit pricey. Will definitely be going back. We had a table with a view of the Columbia River which we enjoyed very much.

Some excellent dining. My boyfriend and I dropped in for a late lunch at 3pm and it wasn't busy at all. Requested a window seat, cute coat hangers near each table. Wish it was nicer weather to enjoy drinks on their patio. Their house bread and butter was soft, warm and delicious. My boyfriend had a light, lemon chicken and vegetable soup with a hint of cream and a side cesar. I had the alderwood in house smoked wild salmon with a cucumber salad and herbes jus. Everything was as we expected and well worth the reasonable price. The cherry cola sorbet with the molasses cookie was a delightful finish. Thanks to all who prepared this meal for us and served.

Excellent menu options of super fresh, local fare. Lovely unique cocktails and attentive but not obtrusive service. Best of all, AMAZING desserts! Liked it so much, we ate there twice in one day.

I have celiac and was pleasantly surprised to find that they use a gluten free batter for all their fired items so I was able to enjoy fish and chips with no worry. Everything on the menu that is or could be gluten free is makes (each with a different code so you know what comes gf naturally or could be made gf).

Beautiful venue with quirky-in-the-right-way staff and food that defies true description. We shared the New York steak with a salad and chili lime shrimp for an appetizer. Delightful and elegant. My favorite part was the cranberry swedish? cream - I am still dreaming about having another...

We stopped by for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Hard to know whether the food, ambience or service was the best. Beautiful space with 2-story windows under the bridge. Fabulous food (pan fried oysters, cioppino, mushroom cassoulet this trip). Gluten for the Huz and gluten free for me. And incredibly expert and genuinely friendly service from Gillian (picture attached), who provided lots of excellent historical and fun info about Astoria. We will be back.

Great find! Saw this place online while passing through and wanting to grab food but we got an added experience here we will remember! Great food, live music, great service, a cozy fireplace with a view through the floor to the beach below. Awesome!

This is one of those places you should not miss when you visit Astoria.
Amazing food quality and flavor.

For drinks, I got an Old Fashion (made the old fashion way... with muddled orange, a splash of soda, bitter drops, and bourbon) and my wife got the "Ann's French 75"... it was very good.
None of these would have been truly enjoyed, without the quality of the service!!
From the hostess to the manager, everyone was involved in making the experience the best one possible. Kudos to Sean, our waiter, he really made the night.
Just one last word, make sure to make a reservation... they can be really busy.

You pay for what you get, and here you get par excellence in food and choices. Amazing views and superior food make this a must try for visitors and locals alike. Be sure to have their famous mussel soup.

Service excellent. Food so so. Steak was tough (rib). Good size. Broccoli & taters totally undercooked. Some kinda of excellent sauce on plate, enough for 2 bites. No seasonings. Very bland. They definitely need new steak knives. I should've used my butter knife to cut food. $103.?? for 2 steak dins, 6 oyster shooters & 2 beers. Kinda out of their league

Good food, great service and a lovely setting right on the Columbia River. Adjacent parking big enough for any size RV. I stopped in for lunch and had the brisket sandwich. Beef was tender, served on toasted rye bread.
