I did the bridge climb with my 18 year old. I was nervous as it is a fair height but the instructor was great and you are strapped in well throughout the climb with a harness. The whole experience took about 3 hours with the first hour of safety briefing and kitting you out. Once we got half way up my nerves started to wane and I really enjoyed the experience more.Understanding the construction of the bridge and its history was really informative and gave a great insight into the conditions the men worked under. The view from the top was outstanding right over to the Blue Mountains and Manly. Note you cannot take cameras or phones with you for safety reasons - you will understand why once you get half way up. However, the instructor takes plenty of photos one of which is presented to you at the bottom. Others were not unreasonably priced compared to similar attractions. One I would repeat.

Such a fun experience!! The views! Not strenuous, and lots of stops/resting in between the climb. Highly suggest the "Summit" climb for unobstructed views. Max, our tour guide, was great!!

You'll obtain an unforgettable safe climb up the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a great tour, and incredible views. You're hooked via cable the entire time, so there's no need to worry, even if you don't like heights. It was the highlight of my trip, perhaps one of the great travel highlights of my life.

Rewarding stroll over the most famous Sydney landmark, with great views from the top of Sydney. Don't forget that the climb takes around 1.5 hours. The rest of your three hour climb time is consumed with gearing up, passing a breathalyzer test, and learning the safety skills you need to complete the walk.

A fantastic experience climbing one of the most iconic bridges in the world. I am an Aussie (now living in California) and I have enjoyed climbing this bridge both as a local AND as a tourist - the beauty is unmistakable and the service, quality and professionalism of the BridgeClimb team has always been second-to-none. Make sure you book in early because this place is always, and rightfully so, booked up weeks in advance.

We did the bridge climb and it was way better than I thought it could be. The setup takes a long time for obvious reasons to make sure you re safe and know what you re doing. They give you hats, beanies, jackets etc for whatever weather you may have.We did the twilight tour and I feel this is the best. On the way up, you have the daylight then you get the beautiful sunset before coming back down with the city lights. Our tour guide was Tom and he was awesome! There are water fountains on the way and the climb itself really doesn t take very long. It s not strenuous at all so don t stress if you feel you aren t fit enough because you ll be fine!

Thanks to our Guide Richard for such a wonderful experience. We had a couple of people in our group scared of heights but it was still an awesome adventure! Highly recommend. Definitely a must do and a tick off the bucket list. Staff are very professional & friendly! Thank you so much

Although expensive the climbing experience was very well managed and completely safe. I had two kids with me and they were both extremely well looked after. All the staff were really well trained and professional. I recommend to anyone, even people with a fear of heights - the experience is well worth it.

The staff were knowledgeable about how to use the equipment and gave a good tour, however I personally don't think this was worth the price. It's definitely a unique view, but I wouldn't say it was the best.

Amazing experience. The staff are friendly, the guides are funny, witty, knowledgeable. It was fun and very well organised too. I would highly recommend it. Tip: Pick a day where the weather is nice and not windy. The whole climb goes for approx 3.5 hours (including the preparations - changing, suiting up, training and familiarisation).

Had a really great time. Staff were excellent. I am very scared of heights and watched you tube videos of climb before i did it to try and help me. The beginning and end of climb are worst as its like climbing a vertical ladder and as you look at your feet you can't help but look down! However as you are concentrating so hard it is kind of ok. The Arch is by far the easiest and WOW views. Enough staff for support. All round a great experience and achievement.

Obviously the views are excellent, but at $200 (or that is what we paid in 2011), you could get more bang for your buck if you are on a budget :)

If not, then go and do it. The bridge, the history shared and the pictures (at an extra cost) is awesome.

Enjoy Sydney

This was a fantastic experience!! Our guide was the best guide I have ever had on a guided tour, great personality. Will definitely do this again on the next trip down under! Only disappointment is you can't take your own device to take pictures.

It's definitely expensive, but there are great views from on top. You also get to go under the bridge and inside it.

You stay connected to the bridge from start to finish, so it's safe.

You can't take your phone with you, so you only get photos from the ones they take for you. If you just go and enjoy the moment, it's worth the cost.

while it was quite awesome and they run a really tight ship, very safe, the price is astronomical. the amount of time taking pictures , which cost 25 dollars per image later, is a bit annoying. However, they are exceptional about answering technical questions, which warms my heart. The guides are in radio contact with the base, so if you ask a hard question they look it up. Still, I think the more abbreviated tour would be fine!

We climbed the Bridge on Christmas Eve. It was a super experience and not to be missed. Our guide Matthew was excellent and was full of information and facts about what you could see on the tour. The whole experience was well organised and well paced. You didn't feel rushed at all. Super.

I finally got to enjoy this climb, after the smoke filled skies & then covid. It was a gift. We had some windy & wet weather, which made the climb even more thrilling.

The most interesting part I thought was marvelling at the symmetry of the bridge, especially when you first step on. I imagined the challenges of people building the bridge. It is a truly beautiful design.

I felt really safe & the climb was very leisurely - much easier than I imagined & many stops for our photos being taken. I love heights & looking down.

It was amazing. We went on Australia Day and there was a fighter plane fly over, canons firing, ferry racing, coordinated boat dancing. I felt very secure while climbing and never felt in danger. The views were awesome. Would recommend spending the money on the experience.

This was so fun, had an amazing time! The tour guide was kinda annoying but I guess that is expected at a tourist attraction. Its very safe, they give you a very thorough explanation about the safety gear and how it all operates!
A cool feature they have there are photos of every celebrity that has done the climb, I thought that was also pretty cool
You get the best view and meet great people

Awesome experience. We did the extended climb which took about 3.5 hours. The actual clomb was 2 hours and the remainder was prep. There were 3 chances on the way to drink from water fountains and 2 misting stations along the way to cool us down as it was hot. You are provided with a body suit to put on with safety mechanisms. Due to the heat we only wore the suit aside from our undergarments. They provide small lockers gor clothing, and all other items. Our backpacks were too big so they gave us collection tickets for them and took them from us until we returned. It was a worthwhile experience which I recommend. They take photos of you at various points including a group photo. At the end you get a certificate that you competed the climb and the group photo. The other photos are available for purchase. We bought all of them through digital download for $59.95 and an extra $10 got a USB stick with the photos. There were other options as well. The download option gives you 30 days to download and you have permission to reprint the for non-commercial purposes.

yes, It's not cheap; yes, it's 3.5 hours with a lot of steps and full sun + wind exposure. But after doing it and experiencing the views, you will kick yourself if you didn't do it. Worth the experience and you'll have a cool story to tell when you get back home.

We were about 30mins late to the booking but they quickly got us through everything to be able to catch up with the group before they started the climb. The climb is reasonably easy with lots of rests and water fountains so you don't need to be super fit to actually do it. The guide was great and so were the other staff

It was an experience of a lifetime. All good things to say! Our guide Romeo was an absolute delight.. he was very informative, patient and took lots of photos.

The entire facility was very covid safe. We felt extremely safe and taken care off even though we decided to climb while it was pouring like crazy. We were equipped with the proper clothing and safety equipments. The price is a bit steep but it was worth it.

Excellent adventure! Not cheap but worth any penny! Very professional service, absolute secure and definitely The Climb of Your Life! Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos due to security reasons and the photo package is not cheap either but you can get a digital package with 10 photos on a USB stick for 60$ - best value in my opinion.
You don t need to dress according to the weather as they provide warm and/or waterproof clothing for any condition. Tours will only be cancelled or postponed due to lightning or high winds. Longest tour will take 3,5 hours.

Great experience, pricey but worth it. We did the daytime experience which was a bit less than twilight. Not too bad if you are afraid of heights. Only thing they can work on is the USB photo package. They limit it to 10 photos. But they can certainly give you all the photos they took. We had a total of 17 so had to cut it down a bit. Otherwise, great experience. Prepare to spend the full amount of time that they say it will take.

Remarkable experience. Our guide Robyn was very friendly and supportive. She told us fun tidbits of information on the bridges history during the climb. There are a lot of stairs and some are quite narrow without a solid bottom - not for the faint hearted. You are safe and strapped in the whole time. Views were absolutely spectacular and worth every step . I did the twilight climb so we got to see the views both during the day and when it was dark (city lights were beautiful) - highly recommend!

It was definitely interesting to go up there, but seriously 3.5 hours of standing was torture. A very annoying aspect was that you are all in a line and we kept progressing three or four steps and stopping again and the guide would mention some fact that I would have preferred to read in the visitor lounge. Going up the bridge is about the height and the sights, maybe a fact here or there - while you are walking. There were a few groups ahead of us and a few behind. I suspect they just throw too many people up there at once which is why your just standing around. Our legs are sore, but it's not from effort it's from doing nothing. I would have enjoyed it if it was shorter and then you would leave with a positive experience rather than getting frustrated and leaving negative.

The bridge itself - its amazing. The view, the fact where you are standing at the moment and opportunity to climb this beautiful structure is something special.
BUT value for money? Not worth 300+ dollars.. what is that about?
The climb lasts for 3 hours. In reality - it takes an hour to dress up, and the climb could be summed in cca 30minutes.. The rest of time you're taking many breakes with the guide and it depends how inspired they are you'll get to learn facts about the bridge and city or else. Or not.
Two stars are mostly because of this, what most made me angry: you get one complimentary photo with whole group, and if you want to get photos where's only you, you're 'bout to pay 30-60$ or more additionaly, depends of number of pics..
Come on, get real.. get people their photos, they are already in computer! All together not worth that money.

Great experience. My son and his friends absolutely loved it. Got one of their souvenir pics from up the top and it's going to be one of those memories we take with us for many years. It's a hard print or I'd upload it here. Defintely worth checking out whether you're a Sydney local or a tourist :)

About BridgeClimb

BridgeClimb: The Ultimate Sydney Experience

If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Sydney, look no further than BridgeClimb. As the name suggests, this company offers the opportunity to climb one of the world's most iconic landmarks - the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

But this isn't just any old climb. With BridgeClimb, you'll be guided by experienced professionals who will take you all the way to the top of the bridge's arches - a height of 134 metres above sea level. From there, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and beyond.

So why should you choose BridgeClimb over other tourist activities in Sydney? For starters, it's an experience that simply can't be replicated anywhere else in the world. The Harbour Bridge is an engineering marvel that has become synonymous with Australia's largest city - and climbing it is a rite of passage for anyone visiting or living in Sydney.

But more than that, BridgeClimb offers an unparalleled sense of adventure and accomplishment. Climbing to the top of such a massive structure requires physical exertion and mental fortitude - but once you reach your destination, there's nothing quite like it.

Of course, safety is always paramount when undertaking such an activity - and with BridgeClimb, you can rest assured that every precaution has been taken to ensure your wellbeing. All climbers are fitted with special suits designed for comfort and safety; they're also attached to a secure line throughout their ascent.

So what does a typical climb with BridgeClimb entail? It all starts with a briefing session at base camp where climbers are given their suits (and hats!) before being led through some basic training exercises on how to use their equipment safely. Once everyone is ready to go, it's time for the real adventure to begin!

The climb itself takes around 3-4 hours from start to finish; during this time climbers will ascend ladders and stairs as well as traverse catwalks before finally reaching their destination at the summit. Along the way there are plenty of opportunities for photos (including one taken by your guide at the very top) as well as chances to learn about some fascinating history behind both bridge itself and its surrounding area.

One thing that sets BridgeClimb apart from other tourist activities in Sydney is its accessibility: almost anyone can participate! There are different routes available depending on fitness levels (including options for those who may have mobility issues) so everyone can enjoy this incredible experience regardless of age or ability.

And if climbing during daylight hours isn't enough excitement for you? Then why not try one of their night climbs instead! These special tours offer climbers stunning views over illuminated cityscape below while also providing unique insights into how bridge operates after dark.

In conclusion: if you're looking for something truly special during your visit or stay in Sydney then look no further than BridgeClimb! This once-in-a-lifetime experience offers adventure combined with stunning views making it perfect choice whether travelling solo or part group tour package deal holiday itinerary planning purposes alike!
