Love it here. Great selection of food & especially love all the starter plants for my garden. Really appreciate the huge variety of organic starters. Staff is always really nice and super friendly. We joined as co-op owners & enjoy the things we can order in bulk at a bigger discount.

Amazing selection of health focused foods and goods, wonderful service, lots of parking, and we'll stocked. Aisles are narrow, always very (sometimes extremely) busy, prices are a little high on some items ...but highly recommended overall.

Would love to rate this place higher BUT, you thought WHOLEFOODS was expensive!?!? This place is a cooperative that's suppose to return profits to it's member's!? NOT just continually expand and build on so that they can sell more outrageously priced local produce and goods.. I disagree with a lot of directions they have taken, and I think they have lost the spirit of a cooperative. . .

Place to go for hard to find items if you don't mind the mixture of BO and patchouli. I was able to find star anise and juniper berries in their extensive self serve splce rack before it was closed due to Covid. Place reminds me of Berkeley Coop in the 60's including upscale hippie style clothes. Staff very friendly and always helpful.

Briar patch is one of my favorite places in this area to come eat and enjoy community. Usually there are musicians and artists out side sharing beauty. The employees are all so kind and genuine. A lot of us locals call this "the vortex" because its so easy to run into beautiful heart centered beings and see the sparkle in their eye and get sucked into a portal of love. Hahaha what can I say, great quality organically grown food attracts lovely people. May all of briar patch and all who enter be blessed with endless abundance, joy, peace, and love in all the most beautiful and soulful ways...

Nice place for groceries there is a membership option. It s not required to shop but I believe there is a discount or rebate if you have one. It is a little on the pricey side. I need to figure that out. It s very clean and staff is super friendly and helpful. The bulk section is wonderful.

Relatively well stocked.

Relatively well stocked.
There are other grocery stores in the area but this one caters to the Posh Hippy needs and desires of the area. Outdoor seating, good selection of organic veggies, creative drinks, sauces and munchie fare for the locals.

They have solar shaded parking for patrons.

Pricy, hippy friendly l, and free Wi-Fi, many of the items here can be found at other places like Safeway, twist' is that EVERYTHING here is organic or natural in some way. Would recommend only if you have alot of money to spare on food.

I love this little market. Full of good, healthy products and laid out nicely. Not cramped. Downsides: parking (lot is tight and I'm almost always waiting for a spot), pricey (as often is the case with small grocery markets), & I wish they offered more stevia/xylitol/fruit sweetened items. I don't eat cane sugar and I'd expect more in that department. Still a nice little market. And it's local. And I love to support local when I can.

I love local and organic markets! So thankful for shops like this! They even have a really tasty soba noodle soup at their mini soup bar! Definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for when it comes to quality.

This place is pretty good. My first couple of impressions of it weren't that great. It is very out of the way for me. But, as I've continued to return, I find things there I can't get anywhere in Auburn.

Ordered a large ice coffee, the sign said it was "toddy style". Would be cool if that's what i got but they pulled an espresso shot, poured it over ice and filled the large cup up with cold sink water. Wtf? Besides that it's an okay place i guess.

Best hot food bar, including made to order. Of all of the co-ops in the general region. Staff is generally friendly, there's a lot of the same faces you're after a year which I like...to me it means they probably treat their employees pretty well. Seems like they value having local produce as much as possible. I like the little blurbs about the farmers in the region that you'll find in the produce section. All in all it's definitely my favorite Co-op to go to.
