Beautiful concert venue located in an even more beautiful park. Lots of parking close to the venue and even some further away so you can get out quickly after the show. Parking is also inexpensive. Covered seats are towards the stage with a lawn section in the back. Lots of vendors for food and beer to avoid lines building up. You're able to hear the band or singer from anywhere in the venue. One of my favorites for a summer show.

I have been going to SPAC for concerts for over 40 yrs
I was very disappointed and scared to be greeted by M16s the other night.

It was also so much nicer before they put in the huge paved refreshment area

The photos I ve added were Def Leppard, Foreigner, and Victoria Justice. Love the atmosphere then if you go to a show the balcony is the best place to be.

great venue but more bathrooms would be nice

great venue but more bathrooms would be nice
Edited 7/5/2019. Had been to SPAC twice before and thought it was fine. The last time we went, it was a mess. Security was a joke, not checking people and just chatting as people walked through. During the event I only saw two security guards and they were telling people how to line up for a bathroom. The lawn area was over crowed with minor clearly drunk and copious amounts of weed. I have no problem with people smoking weed but when I can't even enjoy a concert because the smell is too intense maybe it's not me. I watched a girl vomit and collapse, likely from dehydration from drinking too much and smoking too much and as she laid in a crumpled heap, there wasn't a single event staff person to even tell. We'll never be back. I'll stick to the Times Union or Palace.

Love this place but only the inside seating. The lawn isn't ideal for a great show if you want to see the band. Venue is totally cool, in the middle of the woods. I feel lucky I was given a miracle and able to attend a show here!

DO NOT buy Lawn seats to this venue. I wish I could give zero stars. Unless you're one of the first 1000 people through the door don't even bother going. Can't see the stage nor the screens from the back of the lawn. You have to actually sit behind tress and vendors. The worst venue I've ever been too

The Sound here is Amazing. Never a Bad Concert or Event. The Beverages are over priced, but won't scare me off. The restrooms need to be Doubled for both the Mens/Womens Room(s). Great Venue to enjoy a Show.

Recently saw my first show at SPAC and it was fantastic. There is probably not a lot I can say that hasn't already been said before. This is a great outdoor venue that brings top musical acts to the area. We had lawn seats for Imagine Dragons. It was crowded, but so much fun. Don't expect to have a lot of personal space or to spread out on your fancy beach blanket and expect everyone to respect its boundaries. The lawn is crowded and people have very little choice but to step on blankets as they try to navigate the crowd to get back to their spot after a bathroom, beer, food, or merchandise run. As a person, you won't get stepped on, but your stuff likely will. If you are mentally prepared for that kind of crowding and have blankets and towels that you know will get stepped on by strangers, you will have a better time. I saw far too many people getting upset with passersby who weren't trying to be jerks, but just navigate the area.

Patience is also required for exiting the venue. There are many bottlenecks while trying to walk back to the parking lots.

Beverages can be very expensive. I paid $17 for 25oz can of Goose Island IPA. I didn't get any good, but the food lines were long especially as the show time approached. Cash or credit was accepted everywhere.

Overall, this is a great venue and we had a great time. The small inconveniences of sharing the space with so many people are minor in comparison to seeing top-rate talent in the Adirondacks.

This is the worst place in Upstate NY to see a concert. You either have to pay too much to sit inside or you sit in the lawn and end up just watching the concert on a screen... $13 for a beer is ludicrous. Bathrooms cannot support the amount of people the venue can support. Sound engineers are typically terrible. The crowd is typically awful. Parking situation is a joke. Everything about this place is awful. If you're seeing the symphony or the ballet it's probably a nice place but if you're seeing a big name concert here, it's going to suck.

Went to see Dead and Company On 6/20. By far the worst concert experience in my life. Not sure who was running the show, SPAC or LIve Nation. Whoever was in charge they did a dreadful job. Number one traffic control was awful. I paid, I believe $32. for premium parking and there was no signage or anything telling people that if they did not pay they could not park there. As a result everyone was trying to get into this parking lot and ones without tickets were turned away. at the entrance. It took me an hour and a half to go less than a half mile. Let's move on to the concert. The sound system was mediocre at best. The flat screens above the pavilion to view the stage were basically useless. The lawn area was definitely over booked. It reads the lawn area holds 20,000 people. There had to be at least 30,000. People were sardined on the lawn, the beer and food vendors area, as well as the area behind them. There was absolutely no crowd control. We were bumped and jostled so many time we left the show during the second set. I have been to many shows and this without doubt the worst. Someone dropped the ball on this performance
