A lot to love about this restaurant. Service is second to none. They pay attention to the little things. Food was delicious but wife wished the catfish brunch item had a little more than just white rice...at least some more sauce. Appetizer enchilada was superb as were the soups. Flounder brunch was awesome. Desserts were great as well. Love this place. Will be back when in Houston.

Love this place! My family is very German and I brought them here and they were very impressed by the quality of the food. Some dishes have been "Americanized" a little bit, but are still great. The best dish on the menu is definitely the make your own wurst. All of their sausage is amazing. They also have an impressive beer selection that I'm still working my way through. And make sure you save room for desert!

I could not let the night end without writing a review. We received not so favorable news earlier at Methodist hospital. Not to be defeated by Cancer we decided to dine at Brennan's. Truly an incredible experience! Service was more than AMAZING from the moment myself, aunts and cousin walked in the door until the four us returned to our valet cars. Great food especially the shrimp, crab cake and greens.. OMG to the dessert as well! Thank you so much Thomas for "outstanding" service tonight!!

After 6 years in the houston area I finally tried this place out. It did not disappoint. The wine and 3 course dinner for 2 was phenomenal in taste and value. The starter salad was excellent and the turtle soup to me was ok. Never had it before and didn t know what to expect. Very rich deep flavor like a some gumbos have. The entree was the filet for both of us. They were both cooked to perfection. Delicious. Lastly we had the bread pudding and bananas foster. Hands down one of the best things I ve eaten. Fun fact, their Louisiana location invented it. And before I end this wonderful review. The staff was excellent.

There isn't much to say that the other reviews didn't already cover. Excellent food, excellent decor, excellent service. My only complaint is that in a place as nice as Brennan's they really should monitor how their customers are acting. There was an utterly disgusting older couple in the bar area acting like sleazy jackasses. I'm not a prude by any stretch, but in this particular scenario and dinner atmosphere where I'm dropping hundreds of dollars on a night out with my wife, as are dozens of other sharply dressed patrons at other tables, we don't deserve that. I could give a flying leap who that old couple were, how much they were spending, etc. You can't allow that as a high class establishment. Send them to a pub bar somewhere else or to their car where respectable people get their freak on. LOL "The stars would glimmer and the moon would glow. We enjoyed Mother's Day brunch. The shrimp and grits were really good along with the featured cocktails. The dessert options for the brunch made it hard to choose. You cannot go wrong with the dessert selection! This place was worth the wait, regarding getting a reservation. They were booked for the Easter brunch, but we made it for Mother's Day. Give it a try!

Maurcelino was our server, we had a large group for a lunch meeting and let me just say, they lived up to their reputation.

I had the gulf fish ponchartrain and the snapping turtle soup. My only complaint is that I couldn't finish all of it. Some of my dining mates had the catfish and the shrimp and grits and they looked to die for.

I adored our server! He was quick, always smiled and was incredibly polite. I loved it and wish my wallet allowed me to eat there more often.

I was extremely disappointed in Brennan's when I went there. I had heard such amazing things about Brennan's, but that's not the experience that I had. Our server was good and the food was good, but it was cold by the time it was served. Overall, the atmosphere that we felt when we went was that we were treated poorly, and we even wondered was the poor treatment racially motivated! I can recommend their food, but I cannot recommend eating it there!

Always a pleasure bringing friends, clients, and colleagues to Brennan's. Today I dined with one of my best friends from college for his birthday. Hehad the turtle soup and I had the Matagorda Bay oyster stew with a pinch of caviar. Both are equisite! We also filled up on extra dirty 25 cent martinis during lunch. The martinis are the best kept secret in town! Happy birthday, buddy! HOOK EM!!!

Went here for Houston Restaurant Week and it was such a wonderful experience! From the ambience, to our waiter, and the food! The food was delicious! Had to pocket some pralines on the way out. Overall, such a great experience and great night. This is our go to spot from now on for our anniversary.

Absolutely amazing service. From the minute you pull in, a great valet service (not to mention, very well priced), to the moment you walk in a nice greeting from the host and very comfortable and elegant seating. Food was spectacular and served in a timely manner by a very good server, and the goodbye was just as good!! Very nice place to go. 100% recommend.

We come here for birthday celebration. The gumbo soup is wonderful and sea food are proper seasoned and tasted great. The service is first class. The lunch menu is not as expensive as we thought. We will come back in the future for sure.

Amazing food and staff. We recently hosted our son's rehearsal dinner at Brennan's. We were a large group and our food was flawless! We planned it from out of state and the catering staff were fabulous! The staff that day made the event so easy for us! Everything was perfect! Our guests raved! Expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for! It was a truly memorable evening!

Old school elegance rarely seen anymore, this restaurant has an amazing atmosphere that just resonates with the age and classy aura of this establishment. My grandmother used to come here many years ago when she was younger, and we just celebrated her 99th birthday here with the family. Brennans is a pillar of Houston, a long standing tradition that has never fizzled or died out. The turtle soup and the bananas foster are a must have if you come here, the best thing on the menu in my opinion. And you should valet here, the parking can be tricky. Stop here and taste the delicious history of our city!

Amazing food and service. We sat in the kitchen table (ask to reserve, sometimes a year out) and the chef interviewed us to determine what to make us. The whole kitchen crew was so kind and seemed to enjoy working in the kitchen. Expensive, but well worth it for a special occasion

It is really okay, I am not sure if I will come back here. Overall, it is better than some places I have gone to. I think it is an okay place to go to. I am a very picky person and I think the impression the place for me is really mediocre.
