I'm kinda sad I can only give 5 stars because if I could, I would give 15. The food was amazing, the staff was so wonderful and attentive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Will definitely be going back. Eddie was one of the best servers I've had in a long time.

My wife and I were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. We had traveled to Houston from Corpus Christi for the weekend. We decided to celebrate our evening at Brennan's. We were hoping for a perfect evening together, with excellent food, drinks, and service. However, we received terrible food, decent (over-priced) drinks, slow service, but the restaurant did have a good atmosphere. The chef needs to go back to school to learn how to cook a steak. Sent our steaks back twice and he still couldn't get them right. We spent $200 at Brennan's that evening, which we wouldn't mind, if they had delivered their end of the deal. Needless to say, we will NEVER return.

The food was truly a disappointment. Way too salty across the board. My wife had a Filet Mignon with gristle in it. My gumbo was like licking a salt lick. The scallops were good but piled on top of a salt bath. All of us at the table agreed and even mentioned it to the manager. He did put one cocktail on the house... Big deal.

Great service and decent key lime pie, but unfortunately this will be my first and last visit. Unbelievable that they should charge what they do for below average food. I urge you to have your chef taste your food before you send it out, I guarantee I'm not the only one saying this.

Never let down by Brennans. It's really an experience. The dining area feels formal, the bar area feels business casual and is always fun. The female server in the bar is the best. Don't know her name but she is there every time. The patio is also great for those rare days when it isn't sweltering or freezing. They have delicious $0.25 martinis (limit of 3). I go at least twice a year. Expect to pay around $30 per person, if not more.

We were a party of three, WITH RESERVATIONS, placed in a small upstairs room with a noisy 12+ all-women banquet table, no view of any kind. The food: person #1: overcooked breast of duck. Person #2: soup and salad only, soup arrived lukewarm, salad was common lettuce with very little else in it. Person #3: redfish not up to fresh smell or taste test snuff, asked to trade the included vegetable for another, any other, and the answer was 'no, it has to be just like it is, in the box!' There was absolutely no hint of the stately dependable Brennan's of old. The only similarity was price - but way too high for this time around! One star to be nice.

We usually only go here for special occasions but definitely the food is always so good and definitely worth every dime. Everything was amazing and the drinks were exceptionally mixed well. I cant wait to come back again.

Great Cajun food. Awesome atmosphere with outstanding service.

My friends and I always wanted to try Brennan's and was finally able to get our schedules together your do so.

We all agree this is great food with authenticty. Nothing tastes like it was frozen and reheated. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. We all highly recommend this place.

I went for a wedding at this venue and it was gorgeous for such an outdoors event. Tasetfully decorated. Food selections were very tasty, delicious, and unique...first time eating quail meat.

The customer service of the staff was exemplary. Notable mention was Eddie. My table had strict vegans and various other allergies like seafood at it. Eddie and co-workers accommodated them all with superior and outstanding customer service.

I highly recommend this location for date night, romantic dinner or brunch. You will enjoy the venue, food and staff.

Thank you and keep up the awesome service.

An Excellent bit of New Orleans here in Houston. The ambiance and service as well as excellent food resonate with the crescent city. The Brennan family signatures are evident in the food from the turtle soup and gumbo to the shrimp remoulade. The shuttle available to the theater district is a bonus touch.

Beautiful! A New Orleans style treat of location, design, landscaping, and ambiance. Minutes from all things Downton Houston. Signature drinks are a tasty treat, whiskey lovers try the Boulevardier Breaux. Bananas Foster made at the table will make your heart happy. Enjoy!

great food. friendly staff. poor choice where to seat us I thought for a romantic evening with prior notice of arrival. by the busiest opening. by the kitchen. Also, 18 years ago, I worked part time as a valet there. Valet staff too busy on there phones to help my wife in her door. not a hustle in any of them...disappointed. still high marks because this can be fixed. ty

My lover David Salazar and I love this place! Very upscale and classy. The venue is gorgeous and stunning, the waitstaff is gracious and attentive, and the food is absolutely exquisite! I love and recommend their Creole Spiced Ribeye, you won't regret it! The seafood gumbo here is also worth the try! We spent his Birthday here September 11th!

The atmosphere, service, and food are wonderful, and if you can pair them with great company you've got a fantastic experience. (If your company isn't so good, you'll still have a fantastic time!) Love them for dinner, but don't forget - the best lunch martinis in H-Town! And don't forget your praline when you leave (for "someone else". of course.)

creole and service at this place is excellent. Visited on Fri I believe. The staff was very sociable and kind. The bill was fair for the quality of food. Feels like a place in Charlotte that I enjoyed visiting.

Fabulous dining experience. Food was awesome and service was perfect. Our waiter was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu . Beyond our expectations. The fried quail over pureed sweet potatoes was one of the best appetizers I have ever eaten and the fillet mingnon was so juicy and tender you could literally cut it with a spoon. The flambe bananas foster topped off a perfect meal. The valets are fast and courteous and had our car curbside within 2 minutes of walking out the door. Will definitely go again.

In a week span, I had their shrimp & grits three times. I've never been served by 2 waiters where they helped each other to serve me with tact-- that's a game changer!!! Refreshing atmosphere & great for brunch. The outside patio is beautiful too. My entire experience was refreshing.

Reminds me of what it would be like to have breakfast in New Orleans. Everyone is so welcoming and the service was excellent. Mimosas were $9 each during brunch. Brunch was about $40 and the valet was $5 plus tip. Food was good as it should be for the price.

Parking is limited so bring cash for valet. If no cash, you can get cash from bar with debit or credit card.

Some of the best food I've ever had and a fun place to go. They invented the Bananas Foster so you can't go without having some of that. It is prepared tableside and is a great experience. Just be aware that there is a dress code for the main seating area

I was here for HRW and got an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
They give an amazing garlic bread prior to being served. As for the food, the server suggested the turtle soup and said that everybody loves it but with all honesty, it wasn't that good. As for the pecan wood grilled filet mignon, it was tender and delicious. Even the carrots were good. For dessert, I got beignets and they were okay; they are definitely not the best ones I've had. Overall, the ambience is really nice; it's dark and mostly quiet. I did like that there was valet parking ($5) because it's very hard to find parking in that area.
Although everything was good, it wasn't great. For this reason I decided to only give it 4 stars because I feel like the restaurant is way too overrated.

Fantastic restaurant for locals and tourists alike. It is housed in a beautiful building, service was excellent, food was great. It has catering for private parties and they do a great job satisfying the customer. I have been to several private parties here and they are always outstanding.

The steak dinner was bad. I asked for medium and got rare. Additionally it was a strange cut off tenderloin that may not even have been tenderloin. I support shoulder meat. Very chewy. Way too raw. I told them I have an allergy to crustaceans, and I was assured the gumbo was safe. It had shrimp. Dessert was weak. My four year old has more imagination and skill than their pastry chef.

My first visit and it was enjoyable. The turtle soup was succulent, the service was superb, the entree pleasant but the dessert, that bread pudding was phenomenal. Even the praline candy was an excellent treat. Thumbs up to Brennan's staff for providing a delightful atmosphere, it will now be a place I will visit often with my wife and family.
