Breezeway Cafe Review

We came at the recommendation from Sherene (who works next door). The food was fresh. The portion sizes were very generous. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I had food from here delivered by Doordash. Everything tasted great. Luckily, the food was still warm by the time it got to my place.
I got the Seekh Kebab with a side of gyro meat, and the samosa appetizers (filled with ground chicken). The gyro and the kebab meat are both marvelous--boasting a nice texture of crispy exterior and tender interior texture. They don't skimp on the fresh herbs and spices whatsoever; your common Mediterranean spices like oregano are sprinkled liberally on all the food items. This in turn makes the food incredibly fragrant and flavorful beyond compare.
Based on the food I got from Doordash, I hope to dine-in here in the future. The food, I can only imagine, would be fresher, and I'd love to drink some of the coffee that they brew.

This place is not fancy, but the food is good and made from scratch. Their Gyro bowls and plates are very good. We have also had their filet mignon sheesh kabobs and roast lamb shoulder. This is one of their signature dishes but I can remember their name for it. They also make a great hummus with pita bread as an appetizer

Will give them another chance.
Didn't get a consistent taste experience, even when specifically asking for the same item an hour later.

Will update to a better review once they acknowledge as I am hoping it was just a honest mistake.

Thought we d try this place tonight. Sat at a table for 15 minutes with no service. They just watched us leave. I was really looking forward to trying them out too. Extremely disappointed.

We were underwhelmed with our experience. We ordered the Greek appetizer plate (with falafel, hummus, tabouleh, dolma, and pita), salmon dinner, chicken tandoori, cabbage rolls, and fried okra and zucchini. Our to go order was not packaged well, as most of the plates were spilling out of the side. I think someone must have tipped over the boxes when they packaged it. The hummus, tabouleh, side salads, rice, and dolma were yummy. The chicken and salmon were decent but a little dry. The pita did not taste fresh and had a lot of Italian seasoning on it. The falafels were hard and dense. The oil from the fried foods did not taste fresh.
The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant is cute. We just had higher expectations for the food. Will not be returning.

We went on a groupon deal tonight for the 1st time and was it fantastic!! We had the shish kabobs and chicken souvlaki. The steak was sooooo tender and delicious it's by far one of the best kabobs we've tried around. The souvlaki was tender, spicy and wonderful. The tandorri bread was great also. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. The cook was wonderful and the owner was a friendly gem. I'm so pleased with this place

We ordered many items from the menu. Chickensoulvaki was the yummiest 1st thing from the menu I have tried. They have a big serving size.

The chicken was tender and sauce was lightly spicy, with humus and green raita on the side, it devoured our tastebuds. .

The interior of the restaurant was giving us a positive and cool vibe, as it seemed their theme is based on the florida beaches; white, seagreen and sand color scheme .

We've ordered from doordash and grubhub too, so now I know most of their munu.

I found the food amazing!! We bought kabab platter, which was served on a bed of flavorful rice and grilled veges.. and a tiny bit of salad on the side.. I honestly found the salad to be less in quantity but quality was great!!
For appetizer we bought potato samosa which was served with spicy red chuttney!!
We also bought mango juice which was extra sweet for my taste, but very refreshing!
Since no food is complete without dessert, we ordered a slice of yummilicious chocolate cake!! It was so hot that the poor cake couldn't stand on it's feet
But we thoroughly enjoyed it!! Haven't had this kind of chocolatey cake in a longgg time!!

Its a must try if you are looking to eat something different!!

Amazing food, amazing quality too. The owner came to stop by our table and chat and made the experience personal. He is a very nice man! I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great Mediterranean food.. Meat was really flavorfull and pitta bread was really tender.

I did take a to go order for the family it was on point quality taste was good the family enjoyed it.will certainly visit again.

Breezeway Cafe is a new restaurant in Carrollton we discovered last night. It was awesome!! Both my husband and I LOVED our food and the service is stellar!! We hope it gets so popular we have to wait to get in, but for now we re just happy we found it. Any new business is a lot of work to get it started, but right now I can only imagine it has to be even harder.
If you want to support a family owned business, have a fabulous meal, great service with portions that provide lunch the next day go to Breezeway Cafe. Maybe we ll see you there cause we re definitely going back.

We always enjoy Breezeway Cafe! The food is always fresh, well prepared and the menu has many options to choose from. It is a bright and welcoming cafe.

Most of these reviews are fake here. I read them and order gyro, cheese burger and chicken in pita. Taste was pathetic, no flavor at all. This is a scam, stay away

I was driving to Walmart with my girlfriend and saw the sign for the new Mediterranean restaurant offering healthy food, so decided to stop by as we were hungry. The restaurant theme is modern but welcoming at the same time. I ordered the healthy chicken bowl and my girlfriend ordered the Shish Kabab dinner. Both were excellent with a lot of taste. I am glad that we now have a Mediterranean option in Carrollton. We will definitely be coming back!

Great atmosphere and friendly sevice. Food is excellent Mediterranean and Pakistani. We tried the mix grill platter very filling and delicious.

Kabab Platter is really delicious. Chicken curry is good too. Chicken Biryani is a fusion of Afghani and Pakistani taste. Staff is nice and friendly.

Definitely worth the price. This one is one of the most popular I've ever been to and for good reason. The food is absolutely fantastic. Best food in town. Great chef and authentic Persian cuisine. Service is terrific and staff is very friendly. My favorite restaurant in Dallas! There wasn't a single thing there I didn't fall in love with. I'll be making this place a usual for our group.

Just had take out from here, and it was sooo good. We had Shish Kebab, Biriyani and Gyro. The meats were seasoned so delicious. Just a note, the menu states 10.00 for Biriyani, but when we picked up we were told it was 5.00 more, that the menu was wrong. A bit of a surprise, but just wanted to mention. Hopefully, they will update the menu with correct prices.

Absolutely delicious!! This is such a cute place and the food was so good! The customer service was excellent. The staff were wearing masks and gloves and made sure to social distance from us. The interior is super cute. And the food was amazing! The falafel was one of the best. My husband said the lamb meat was excellent. The servings were huge! All around a great place. We will be back!

Adding this to my list of favorite restaurants! I've been to a couple Mediterranean restaurants including Afrah, Yia Yia's house of gyros, Opa! etc. but Breezeway Cafe has the most variety and they have a wide price range from low-cost/affordable food to higher-class price ranges. We think the hummus and pita bread are the best we've ever had, meats were tender even after hours of serving, and the sauces and vegetables complement the main courses very well with great balance in flavors. Baked zucchini is a new favorite. Everything (vegetables, bread, meat etc) was FRESH!

The food was amazing. We had Lamb biryani, Samosas, Gyros, Dolmas & hummus and Baklava. I love how they have a glass wall between the restaurant and the kitchen so you can see them working so hard in the very nice and clean kitchen. I enjoy speaking with the owner and his daughters.

Had chicken kebab plate and tabouli and both tasted really salty. Chicken is half cooked and tabouli is full of tomatoes. Worst part is hummus is store bought and tasted very bad. Place is not run by middle eastern folks, so we can't expect it to be great. I feel like my money is wasted.

My wife had heard how good this place was so we did lunch yesterday and found it to be an outstanding meal with a great value. We will be back and highly recommended this restaurant.

Dined in this evening (Christmas eve) and wouldn t have been able to pick a better place for dinner. Service is top notch, food is AMAZING, and ambiance is great. This is a Lebanese and Pakistani fusion - what a combination. Humas, pita, Kabsa, chai, and extra rice. What a wonderful experience. I would recommend them to everyone. Genuine service and quality food.

I loved my experience here!! The food s phenomenal and so reasonably priced; I tried the gyro wrap sandwich, which was so filling and genuinely one of the best I ve had. Every dish we ordered gave a nice quantity of food, which we really liked considering how affordable the price range is.

I was also really impressed with the decor and just how new/clean the entire layout was, and I appreciated the transparency of the open kitchen as well. This restaurant will definitely be one of my top picks for Mediterranean food from now on!

The food here is delicious and very fresh. The prices are also very good, especially for the large servings. We ordered the chicken souvlaki, chicken fajita, kabsa, chicken tenders, fries, breezeway burger, and shish kebab sandwich and everything tasted great. We will definitely be returning!!

Went to this cafe with my daughter and a friend since we were craving Mediterranean food and this was the closest halal restaurant to us. I am so glad we found this little gem of a place! The food was excellent, the service was amazing and everything was fresh and beautifully served. We will definitely come here again!

Hidden gem. Way better than expected. I tried breezway burger, tikka and lamb steak which all are two thumbs up. Will try other menu soon.

Their chicken tikka tasted a little different than the traditional chicken tikka we desis are used to of eating, but the shish tawuk tasted amazing and to top it off the tea was tea-rrific.

We ordered a total of 12 dishes and almost loved them all. Lamb biryani was awesome with lamb completely melting but firm. Chicken Souvlaki, Chicken Bowl were awesomely delicious. Kashmiri Pink tea was awesome but a little heavy for me. Breaded Zucchini was really good. Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich wrapped in salad to avoid bread is to its perfection. There was special Kheer (served in small clay bowl) which was not Firni at all and the gajar ka halwa was to the next level. A little more than usual sweet but it was worth it. Since we were too many people we got our orders one at a time which took a while but other than that it was a delightful experience.

Let google pick our date night dinner and ended up here. I could not be more impressed! First off it s so cute inside but the food is so fresh and flavorful!! 100% will be back!! I had chicken tandoori and hubs had the biryani and both were mouth watering!

Stumbled upon this place with my brother who lived in Israel for awhile. We were blown away. Minor issue in beginning not getting drink order for a bit but just forget about that.
I was really glad that the chef and partner Mike stepped out to talk to us and I clapped.
Go in there with high expectations, if you know great Mediterranean food or not, you will love it.

Wow. I was thoroughly impressed with the food, cleanliness and kind staff.
My husband and I ordered the Mixed Grill entree and it was enough to feed 4 people. Will absolutely be eating here again.
Staff were patient, humble, and gracious.
Re: social distancing and the new normal , staff wore masks and tables were spaced appropriately. I haven t been out to eat in over a year and only came out because it was our 10th anniversary.

Place is clean, I like the open kitchen concept, the food was very tasty, I got the kafta kebab dish. The portion was big, enough for two people honestly.
One thing tho is the person brought the salad to me was not wearing gloves, and so was the person preparing my dish. I think management need to pay attention to sanitary standards especially at these times.

Ok, so we ordered delivery from the Breezeway Cafe Delicious!!! I believe its the only Mediterranean restaurant in Carrollton. Excellent food! The salad choices they offered was impressive. The shawarma, kebab, hummus all are fresh and delicious. I can t say enough good things about this place. If you are in the area... I would recommend you go here. or order in!

First time here. Ordered chicken fajita, beef kebab, cheese sticks & hummus. The spices used were really good. Totally satisfied with that meal. It seems like they had the perfect mixture of spice (heat) and flavor. Wife loved it too. I don't usually eat all the rice - man that was good. Will really need to see if its that good all the time though. Better be.

Dined here for the first time last night and it definitely won't be the last. Our party of 4 enjoyed the appetizer platter (hummus, falafel, grape leaves, baba ganoush and tabbouleh). For the entrees we ordered two signature dishes (lamb biryani and kafta kabab) as well as the Coozy (lamb, rice with fried onions). All entries were delicious/flavorful. The entries come with pita bread and a very refreshing salad. The owner (my namesake) Mahmoud Musa served us complimentary hot tea and dessert because they were out of carrot halva. The prices are easy on the wallet. We will definitely be coming back again to enjoy more of the delicious food served here.
