Nicole was a fabulous waitress. Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed the appetizers, entrees and dessert. Totally pleased to have chosen The Boulevard for our birthday celebration.

The food is similar to Houston's on Saint Charles but not identical it's still very good I would not hesitate to eat here again

Sunday meal with family, we found Boulevard Bistro Elmwood by chance. Very good food- homemade not premaid. Excellent service. We were catered to by a staff of servers; water glasses never empty, food runners efficient, plates cleared. Our main server Nicky, was exceptional: accommodating, personable, and informative about the food and restaurant. Will definitely be back.

The food was better than I anticipated. The tortilla soup was very good. Thick, rich and not too much mexican spice. The fried oysters with creamed spinach was also very good. I went specifically to try the prime rib since it is so difficult to find in the city. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. After tasting the quality of meat at the Rib Room in the Royal Orleans there was no comparison. The baked potato was just that, nothing outstanding.

The Hawaiian steak was very fatty didn't eat after two cuts very disappointed

Food is a little pricey but delicious! Definitely will be returning. Great service & friendly staff.

I love this restaurant. I usually get the grilled chicken salad or a soup and salad combination. It seems as though the prices have increased and the amount of food has decreased. My grilled chicken salad was around $15!! For that price you should get a lot of food. Nope. The spinach dip is my absolute favorite. Again, they upped the price on this item. So, great food but horrible prices

Smoked salmon appetizer was delicious. Interior needs to be refreshed. The restaurant still looks like the old Houston s and is very dark. Good service.

First of all, Zoey obviously doesn t have really good bar experience and airs on the side of arrogance and superficial customer service. Literally, Zoey and Jay were off talking about a bar patron. Ripping/patronizing her because she didn t say the drink name right. I guess they don t realize that theY represent a company and not themselves and other patrons look down on that kind of shameful, embarrassing talk. Even though I frequent here often and run a non-profit, I won t be coming back, and they ignored the patron. Given the pandemic they should be more diverse to all patrons. Not cool! I use to love the more experienced bartenders here who have more experienced manners.

Eric is a great server!!! Super fast and professional! The manager Timothy was awesome as well would most deff recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and great experience.

Great experience from the time I walked in the door. Very friendly and attentive staff. I ordered a house salad with chicken. I didn't expect such a huge salad. It was excellent and the crabcakes was superb. The mashed potatoes were a little bland but still edible. I would definitely be back.

This place is the old Houston's and they have copied good bit of the menu but it's more expensive and the portions seem a little bit smaller

Updated.. Have eaten here several more times.. This place appears to copy the old Houston's but it's a mere shadow. Higher prices, nowhere near as good. Their ceasar salad is not the same. The fries are greasy and taste like a dozen other things that were fried in the same grease.

While on duty, me and my partner stopped by and tried out this place. I had the chicken with mash potatoes and it was amazing! Hands down one of the best I've had. I will be definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and food. We happened to pick this place on a whim due to a parade and best unplanned trip ever! We've already decided for this to be our go to place when we come to town!

So I will start by saying that this is one of my favorite eateries! Every one has an off day and I happened ( for the first time) to get a tough steak. Well here is where aan exceptional server swoops in to save the day . Without missing aa beat she gets me hooked up with another dish ( baked trout ) and kept me with eats until my recovery meal arrived. No one likes to watch others eat without them. She prevented that scenerio. So still a favorite and just lives our server. She is a true professional!!! . See yall for parents 71st Anniversary in April!!

Great food and service. Awesome vibe very relaxing loud but not overly loud. The service is great. The food was great. I can only give it 4 stars because this was my first experience at this restaurant until I go back and get the same or better I can only give it 4. But I truly believe that I will have the same experience or even better. Also the ribs were great!

Everything was absolutely delicious, even the side salad. The salmon was amazing & cooked perfectly. Our server John-Carter was one of the best waiter's we've had, he was so friendly and knowledgeable of all of the dishes. I look forward to becoming a regular. The menu is very small.. entree was mediocre at best.. apps was AMAZING. Nicole was an awesome server, had to leave her a tip. I love the service. Everyone at the table food comes out together, unlike other restaurants. I ll go again and try another entree.

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with the restaurant on May 9th. We ordered for pickup (as that was the only option at the time). After waiting in an extremely long line to pick up our food, we came home to find that one of the entrees was missing (the crab cakes, a double order, no less) and the steak was missing the fries that we were supposed to receive with it. We called to correct the mistake and received a message that they were not taking any further orders. We drove there and after repeatedly knocking on the door could not get anyone to answer even though we could tell there were people in the restaurant. We had to get food from another restaurant to replace what was missing from our order. We tried to call on May 10th to get a credit, however, we got the same message. We were able to finally speak to a manager on May 11th after holding for over 18 minutes. That manager said that since he was out of the restaurant, he would call us back in an hour. We never received a return call. We finally spoke with a different manager on May 12th and were able to receive a partial credit for our order. We didn't even get our full meals refunded! And after we had to harass them, they didn't even do a bare minimum to make it up to us. We understand that during these trying times we have to be especially patient, but we really feel that management failed and handled the mistake they made horribly. I would seriously suggest rethinking visiting this restaurant.

The food and service were excellent a bit pricey but worth it.

Crab cakes very bland no seasoning. Fries came out limp and greasy. The replacement fries were just as bad. Manager oblivious to kitchen quality. He was cleaning tables with plenty of wait staff there. Spent $85 for four crab cakes and a bowl of soup

Very Nice, although parking is at a premium, free, but shared amongst serveral busy businesses. Had to swing through and twice to get a space.

Love this place. The smoked salmon warned for me is to.die for. The rotisserie chicken and redfish is also a winner. Great atmosphere and several waiters/waitresses have been great with custom service.

I thought.
After not eating all of my food, I asked for a carry out. After getting home, I began eating my sandwich, I discovered a STAPLE, on the chicken breast. I called to notify management, and was given the third degree. This wasn't an effort to retrieve any refund, just to simply make them aware of a problem.
Management's response was horrible. CUSTOMER SERVICE COMES FIRST, NOT MONEY.

IT'S TIME to support your favorite restaurants. The Boulevard is our favorite and the BEST restaurant in Metairie. We just had lunch from there...it was delicious and their food is just as good to go....

Solid food and great service! I had their burger for the first time, and it was delicious. My friend had the ribs, and the meat was falling from the bone.

My friend and I reserved a booth in the bar for 4:30 today. After 11 weeks of being confined to our homes we were looking forward to a couple hours of catching up and patronizing a local business. Unfortunately, at 6:15 the bartender came over and told us that there was an hour &15 minute limit to the tables. Considering that there was only one other table occupied and no one in line at the door we found this quite insulting. Don't worry we won't bother you again!!

Well we tried to call you but put on hold for over 5 minutes. Hung up & called back. On hold again for 4 minutes. 3rd try told you can't come to phone. 3:50 P M today, Monday. Sadly disappointed.

Slow service. 20 minutes to get a cocktail, twice as long to get chicken sandwiches. One was not cooked enough, drinks were weak. Won't be going back

I loved Houston's and was heartbroken when they closed. Went to the Boulevard and was so pleasantly surprised that they kept the same basic menu with the same quality. I just wish they'd kept the steak and noodle salad which was a fave of mine. Just had the salmon appetizer and the spinach dip and it was all great. Portions are a little smaller but that won't keep me away.

I've always enjoyed my experience here until Sunday 12/09/19. The spinach dip was watery ( sent it back ), the broccoli tasted spoiled with a nasty after taste(sent it back) and my waitress asked what temperature for my steak , I stated well done . However the ends were well done, but got to the middle and it was rubbery and pink. The waitress said you did say well done , sorry and they put that portion back on the grill. By then I was over the whole dinner. SUPER DISSAPOINTED !

4 stars is strictly for service and management. Kitchen was having a really bad day but the manager was super apologetic and helpful. Couldn't temp a steak to save their lives but the service warrants a return.

Excellent service and amazing prime rib. Juicy and warm just as we like it. The staff is friendly and never let an empty plate or glass sit on the table. Our drinks were never left empty. 2 members of management visited our table throughout the evening to ensure we were being cared for.

Wish they had one on the north shoe enjoy eating at the boulevard

I've eaten here multiple times before Covid and enjoyed my meal. My husband and I decided to get curbside yesterday. When he arrived to pick it up, food wasn't ready yet. We live 4 blocks from the restaurant. By the time my husband got to the house the food was cold and not cooked as ordered, and there was half the amount of dip compared to what we've been served previously. I was extremely disappointed after paying the amount of money we did for such a sad version of the meal I've had many times before.

Our server did a great job. We always get good service and good food at this location.

Went here for Saturday lunch... everything was freshly prepared and delicious! The oyster boulevard was the most delicious appetizer ever! Oysters were fried perfectly and crispy! Hawaiian steak and kale salad was to die for! Steak was so tender and seasoned to perfection! I'm ready to return again!

It's the same menu as the other restaurant that used to be there. Nothing fancy, always superbly executed. We order all over the menu and its always fantastic. Start with grilled artichokes and smoked salmon. I could rave about their salads, this place does everything great. Have to try the redfish, great prime rib.

Wife and I decided to try the Boulevard Bistro although I had read and heard some very negative things about the service and food. I should have listened to my gut feelings and not gone. A total waste!!! We ordered the oysters Rockefeller and it was used oyster shells with oyster artichoke dip with a fried oyster on top drizzled with some cheese looking crap. then ordered the Prime rib which looked awesome but was so salty we couldn't stomach it. I complained manager came over, offered another meal but at that point I was done. Service is not that great, food experience sucked, and the pricing is way to high. My advise is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ! Go to Andies Bistro right down the street at north Turnbull.

Crabcakes are amazing!! The wood cooked artichokes was tremendous!!
