Second year in a row for the Holiday Pops show. It's a great show, tons of fun, with Santa & sing-a-long in the 2nd half. The only downside, is it is so cold in the auditorium. I had to keep my winter coat on to feel comfortable. Many people around us were commenting on the draft as well. I also remember it being very cold the year before as well. Bring an extra sweater or wear layers!

Symphony Hall was everything I had hoped. I watched Evening at Pops for years and finally experienced a Pops concert in person. The seating feels more intimate than I'm used to in Chicago, and the sound has a very warm but clear and vibrant quality. Really the only problems I had were with the fact that people kept walking in to find their seats *during* the songs, and this was extremely distracting since I'm not used to a hall that allows that. Otherwise, this was essentially a dream come true. I can't wait to come back for another concert as soon as possible!

I haven't been in BSO since I was a child. I went with friends that I have known since middle school (in the late 60's) to attend the Gospel Night. It was awesome. The music, the guest singer, the choir, the orchestra and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Had a wonderful time. Will definitely do this again.

What a gem this hall is! One of my fondest memories is performing a concert here while a member of the now-defunct Newton Symphony Orchestra. From a musician's point of view, it can't get much better; unlike other halls, you can hear yourself and the rest of the orchestra clearly, at the same time. And in the audience, the sound is unbelievable. One of the truly best concert halls of the world.

Comfortable seating even for my 6ft 6inch frame, accousticly excellent, small enough to make everyone feel close to the orchestra but large enough for a sense of occasion and to attract world class performers.

Best Hall in the world. Period!!! I wat at Moby Dicks just down from the Cohen Wing entrance. You'll share the place with Symphony musicians, patrons and New England Conservatory students, and patrons. Best seats ...center Second Balcony. First Row first Balcony, and just behind the break in the orchestra. The pre symphony dinners in The Higgenson room are very good. But usually sold out. Reserve early.

A little over a hundred years old. One of the first concert halls to be built utilizing scientific principals regarding sound in an enclosed environment. Result: among the five greatest acoustic venues in the world. Combined with the Boston Symphony/Boston Pops "Essentually the same orchestra and one of the world's finest"- On their worst day, the experience can take your breath away.

I went with my school and we had a master class with a great conductor. A once in a lifetime experience. I've also been to see a performance. The performance cannot be but into words as it is that amazing.

The holiday pops is an annual tradition for our family. It's always a treat. Maestro Lockhart and the Pops always seem to have a lot of fun with the program, as does the audience. This should be on your Boston bucket list.

This place was so much fun. I attended the Gospel night featuring Dottie Peoples who had everyone clapping and singing. I was happy to be seated on the floor not in the balcony area, which I found very spacious and more relaxing than the balcony. I totally enjoyed the songs that were done with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, it made such a difference to the song and listening experience. This is my second visit.

The tour is interesting, the guide shows some spots that the musicians uses before the shows, like the tuning room and the library. They also play the organ to show the hall acoustic, very beautiful. On the Boston Symphony website you can see the tour schedule. Recommend!

One of the world's great symphony halls. We've been coming for decades. Tonight we are here for the Handel and Haydn Society's Amadeus Live, a presentation of the movie Amadeus with the music performed live.

I love the performances and talks. Boston Symphony Hall and the BPD manage foot and car traffic at a tough location very well. People keep their phones on vibrate for the State of the City but not for many other performances at Boston Symphony Hall.

A gorgeous classic building in Boston. Hosts some fantastic classical music. Most seats, even on the cheaper end, come with a decent view. All around excellent acoustics as well. #1 place for a date.
