Boston Logan International Airport Review

Good shops, good food places, plenty of power outlets which is the most important thing, and plenty of airplanes.

One of the nicer airports I've been to - everything is clean, modern, great food selection (with lots of healthy choices), and large waiting areas with comfy seats. Sometimes it can be a little confusing getting to the gates, and there's usually some annoying shuttling between gates, but otherwise, I have smooth experiences here.

one star, and that is generous should be no stars. What do they the takes so long to get the luggage out. Conveyer belt starts up, first class and or business class luggage come and then it stops

Sort out the huge lines crossing the border. You're clearly saving yourselves money and wasting hundreds of people's time. 1 hour and a half from getting off the plane to the baggage carousel is ridiculous.

An airport garage staff was rude to me when I had an issue. He cuts me off 1 second after meeting him and wanted me to insert my ticket into the machine. He then demands payment after cutting me off again when I was trying to dispute. All he wanted was take my money.

Was a pleasant wait tonight.
Too bad Spirit arrived 2w minutes early not to declare for almost an hour.

Logan is a typical international airport. The economy parking needs more than one shuttle bus for peek times. Build in more travel time, all the transportation options here are slow and TSA can get backed up.

Immaculately clean airport. Excellent maintainance. Shuttle service is amazing.

It is never a pleasant experience to go through security but rude condescending and unknowable tsa agents can be found in high concentrations here at Terminal B. It s filthy and smelly too. Sorry, this is my first airport review but Boston doesn t deserve this.

It is small but nicely maintained airport. There are five terminals, A to E. Terminal E is for international flights while rest are for domestic flights, except for some exceptions. There is a lot of staff to help and guide you at the airport. Generally, it is not very busy. Information counters are there everywhere. Small utility outlets are available near gates (like at most airports). There are a few duty free shops too. Some brands are shown in the attached pictures.

Those who said this is a nice and easy to navigate airport must have never seen top international airports. Uber drop off is 10-15 mins walk away, check in counters are not in a same spot, TSA lines are horrendous, you have to pay $5 for cart (what if you re a person with disability or elderly??) and TSA opened my bag without properly closing it. Seriously US, it s not that hard to get it right in your airports. Just look at singapore, Japan and majority of European countries.

No clear signs directing one to the silver line. Tons of construction but all the signage is sloppy. If you want people to use public transport at least care a little about providing clear signage.

So long as the weather is good, this is a wonderful airport to fly in/out of. It's close to the city with free public transportation. Security lines are fine and the terminal is clean. The food options are good enough.

Easily my favorite airport, I've spent many hours wandering the terminals waiting for flights. I've always gotten through TSA in good time and there is plenty of local culture throughout the building including a Dunkies on every corner. Missed a vineyard vines store or didn't get a sip of harpoons ales? Well you're in luck because Logan has them all. Really though, friendly staff, great amenities, and fantastic views of the city & seaport.

Good airport, it can really sometimes get packed on flights but overall the airport is clean and it has many restaurant options.

Good airport right in the city. There are easy connections to South Station (via shuttle) or the Blue Line. Security and customs are usually a tolerable amount of wait time. The airport is mostly clean and organized. They could use some updating and more restaurants and shops. They have added some more direct international flights from Boston, which is nice for me.

It was a quick flight from Philly. I was originally scheduled to fly into Rhode Island. It was an easy drive to Rhode Island. I will definitely fly into Logan again.

Great time at the airport, was very easy to maneuver around and figure out where I needed to go. However it is a bit concerning how the airport will survive during the time of Fallout 4 due to the actions of the Sole Survivor.

Needs better signage for passenger pick up such as numbered. Trying to tell someone to pick you up at a general passenger pick up is difficult without an assigned number, letter, symbol, .....

Terminal pickup is confusing my mothere was got lost trying to pick me up. Everything is closed due to covid

Very easy to navigate through, very pretty, great staff. Needs bigger lounges though

My son and I arrived at midnight on a Southwest flight to Boston. It too a very long time for our bags to arrive at baggage claim. He was hungry and I was trying to feed him when we accidentally drop our mason jar and glass shattered everywhere. The southwest representative was there and didnt offer any help. She went back into her baggage claim office with an unhappy face. I followed her to asked her for some help and she said, I saw what happened. I asked if she could get some help for clean up and she didnt respond. Luckily there was this cleaning lady at the restroom and was more than ready to come help us clean up. She s my lifesaver. Thank you sooo much cleaning staff of Boston airport. You really helped me in the midst of chaos at the airport. I even offered her tip but she gracefully declined. Thank you!

Good parking, good shuttle services, a cell phone parking lot, good eateries, it is well organized. Good airport!

Terminal B Earns my Top Five Star ***** Rating for Ease if Use. Excellant Employees, Counter, TSA and all the way around Good Experience on Exiting Boston. Great Job Everybody...
People who do not travel as much as I do do not understand just how good Boston Logan Airport is...

This airport is horrible. Had my worst travel experiences over there. I had a 7 hour layover and I had to spend the night at the airport. Airside will close over night and therefore, forces passengers to spend the night landside. But they don't provide designated waiting or rest areas. Power outlets are hard to find. I don't get this. If you know that there are some passengers that have to wait for connecting flights in the morning and you force them to stay landside, then provide them some comfort!! Additionally, the layout of the airport is confusing. It's an old airport although they are reconstucting a lot right now. All in all, I would never fly through Boston Logan

Worst airport i've ever been to. Long lines everywhere, terrible organization, the TSA have no idea what they're doing and don't let me forget the worst thing about logan, customs.

Just a little difficult get around. I'd rather go to Manchester.

Terminal A is nice. Small terminal and easy to get in and out of it. It s nice that they have a dedicated parking area for Uber to pick up at

Why is it that limo drivers must stop at Mass port to receive a ticket so you can then pull into the limousine parking lot and wait for your traveler 2 come out. All of these sedans and or limousine already have logo stickers on them! Can anybody give me a reasonable explanation why we have to pay more tax dollars to have this ridiculous station open? Maybe, if someone can give me an answer I can understand I'll change my rating.

One runway under construction and the flights are all a complete catastrophe.
I blame the airport for not dictating to the airlines to reschedule their flights to account for the delays that they KNOW will happen and the airlines are equally guilty for not changing their schedules to take into the closure. No excuse for this. The airport and airlines DO NOT CARE about their customers.

Small airport ..not a good long layover airport. But clean and much safe distancing

I flew with American on my trip to Boston. The TSA agents were very friendly and getting through security was a breeze. There are also buses from the Boston Public Transport that take can take you directly into Boston for free. Overall, it was a very stress free experience.

The airport is clean and organized, they offer a good variety of food options and space to sit before a flight.

The internet is insanely slow, google search page will not even load.
I cannot do anything when my flight is delayed.

BOS, where it s always the year 2000. Don t take Uber or Lyft, they don t exist yet here. Hooray! You flight is early! Don t get excited, it will take at least 15 minutes for the plane to have a gate, forget about it if you checked a bag.

TLDR? Avoid this airport unless you enjoy traveling at the pace of the Oregon Trail.

Beautiful Airport built right beside the sea. The landing and takeoff experience was great.

The new changes enforced by Massport regarding ride share apps are terrible.

Waiting at immigration EVERY SINGLE TIME for at least an hour or two with maybe half the booths staffed. Biggest waste of time I have to endure on a regular basis. Also their Uber pickup logistics are a total hazzle

Nice airport, great spot to grab a crab roll while traveling thru.

Central parking is full ~50% of the time I go and the signs for open parking at economy lot are not helpful. I would recommend leaving at least 30 minutes for Boston's inadequate parking.

Very bad experience at security check yesterday! As a pregnant woman, I asked for a female pad down instead of going through the X-ray machine. I have waited for about 15 minutes and asked the female staff there how long I could get checked. I was told that so far there is no available staff could do for me and I have to wait. So I waited, waited and nervous about my personal stuff: laptop and purse already sat there without my sight. several minutes later, another staff came over so I told him I have been waiting forever for the checkin. He said, oh, forever huh? I didnot see you yesterday so its not forever and with a very bad attitude! I think the airport should give more respect to passengers. The staff who work there are with bad attitude. The pad down service is totally a joke there!

I lived in Somerville for about three years. During that time, I used to have frequent air travels. Obviously, the point of frequent contact used to be Boston Logan International Airport, sometimes as a port of entry. Most of the times, I have had pleasant experience with this airport. However, the complex network of terminals sometimes used to confused me.

Would be better if it wasn't for those Brotherhood of Steel squatters.

Well managed very simple process, not a hard place to navigate, very smooth transition no bad experiences on this airport yet. Very nice infrastructure and a modern touch.

Clean and as bearable as any other airport. Nobody wants to be here, but I really don't have any complaints.

Delta self checkin stinks. Agent helping at the checkin machine great. Agents at the counter are robots...not so friendly...

Pleasant airport. Nice views of the city from the skybridge connecting terminals E and A. Long security queues though.

Easy enough for an airport. Get in, get out and get on your way...

Well organized place with really helpfull info center. They gave me map of public transportation service and even higlighted the best route. Free bus to South Station and to the car rental counters.

Very good Airport with a great customer service and friendly people work there. A great service of food.

Terminal A food/restaurant facilities inadequate. Every seat available in the 1 1/2 restaurants with bar service taken on Sunday afternoon. And only one TV in boarding area even has game on and it s NY v Washington when Patriots are playing. Ridiculous.

This is for sure not one of my favorite airports when it comes to the attitude of most employees that act like its a hassle to talk to the customers.

Nice airport. Crowded, of course, but they have good systems and technology to make space for everyone and keep the lines moving. You can walk to the airport. There is flat sidewalk all the way. There are free shuttles if you want, but otherwise Google Maps walking directions are quite good for this area. If you re starting from the North End, take a cheap water taxi across the harbor. The airport is long, and there will be more opportunity for walking once you get through security. Good to stretch the legs before boarding the plane.

Gateway to Boston. Small terminal but has a lot of lounges, duty free shops and restaurants

I nearly missed my flight but with all of the delays, the fast line, and some help of direction because the signs are very confusing. I happily made it right on time. The food is a bit expensive but i never really have time to stop anyway.

to pick up your rental car, you have to take a shuttle and spend some time.

Mediocre airport not the cleanest of places but quite fast.

Very easy airport to get in and out of and it's very close to the city. Plain and simple.

Lovely staff, very friendly, understanding and respectful.

It's not like you have any other choice. But it's unpleasant. The lines move quicker than some places, but service isn't great and neither are the shopping and dining choices. Recommend using the Silver Line to get around, though of course that has its drawbacks. And for the love of god, don't check a bag. It takes them forever to get the baggage carousel going every time.

I love Boston but always get lost trying to park at Logan, still my favorite city in the world

Nice clean airport, friendly staff, lines are a bit long.

Excellent service in both departures and arrivals.
Ample seating and meal options in all terminals, clean, and has a reliable lost and found service from a past experience.
It is a busy airport, and there is usually traffic on the way. Do give yourself ample time to get there prior to your flight.

There's always huge lines and delays. The traffic into the airport is horrendous and the parking lot is always packed. The Boston Area and New England need another airport or at the very least a renovated and larger Logan Airport.

Very clean and friendly. Easy to find uber's pick up point.
