Great resort. Nice location and very eager and helpful staff. Beach access nearby. Tasty buffet breakfast with variety spread for both vegetarians and non-vegeterians. Close proximity to Pondicherry attractions.
We two and our Kid had a beautiful two days in tranquility at this place. Its big and spacious in all aspects. Nice and friendly people around enchanting "Happy evening "and "Happy Morning" every time we meet them while our walk around and taking care of us all time. Foods are on the expensive side but shows its class. Nothing comes free in this world but worth it. Awesome place !!!.

This is really good resort, the rooms and the view , the paid activities are not worth the price they offer but you can play the outdoor and indoor sports which is free of cost and you will enjoy.
They have a beach which is 500 metres from the gate of the hotel and it's truly amazing and clean

I felt something new and exotic when I entered this resort... It has restaurants inside and I feel the taste was very good and mouth watering ...buffet system was followed and also they serve the food if we ask...they even bring to our room if we inform to room service...there is a swimming pool not so deep it s apt even for small children...there was some playing area for relaxation ...Apart from normal rooms they have ferns and vilas...it seems beautiful...one thing I forgot there is a beach near 500m from ocean Spray I went there by walk that beach was clean and I played there for a long time...they will satisfy all our needs immediately that s why I like ocean spray...

Pathetic lunvh expericence yesterday. I went to Ocean Spray with my family yesterday to enjoy the Sunday Brunch. After visiting there the female receptionist " Miss Dora" in the front office informed me that the Sunday Brunch is Rs.995+ 18% tax/ person all inclusive. We went inside the restaurant & found we the first set of people. But horrible experince starts from there on. The food well decorated but cockroach roaming on the foods in the stuffed chicken item whivh i showed to the staff. They immediately remived the cockroach only but food was still there. Then in the desert section small cockroaches everywhere which i brough on notice to staff. But more they remove more they appear. Yuk!! So we sonehow filled our stomach with rice & dal.now 1 more horrible experience. When we asked for bill we were shocked that its almost Rs 1000 extra than the amount initially told to us by Miss. Dora. We then bring it to Miss. Dora & Food billing staff. Miss Dora simply said she was unaware of Sundays price & she is sorry for that. Its an utter misleading attitude of her.Instead of Rs5200 we ended up paying Rs6134 for 4 ppl for that unhygenic food!
This is a pathetic experience!

Everything is good except the morning breakfast... Not many options to choose from. Very basic breakfast..
Good... Beer and no hard liquor available there... Good and drinks are too expensive, for the price I recommend you plan srilanka or Thailand.., better to just stay at BJ and get even water from outside...while paying online remember that bereft OTP your cr card will be debited.
Peaceful ... One of the biggest pools. Clean rooms, kids had a very good time. No priavte beach if you are looking for one, nearest beach is 10 mins walk from resorts back entrance which closes by 6 pm though. Bit faraway from pondi if you wanna unwind and feel the French connection.

Had a 4 day Break at this resort with my friends comprising of 46 people. Lovely surroundings, fantastic amenities, humble and courteous service, great food, amazing pool. would love to go back again. A big shout out to Manikanthan, Ganesh and their teams for making our stay memorable.
Though the place was good and well maintained but there was some lagging in the services.
Third visit in 7 yrs... It has been a delight to go there again n again... Hospitality is top notch , food is superb.... Nice place to take kids ...
One of the most popular resorts which is located nearby Pondicherry & Chennai. Spacious and lot of options. But maintenance could ve been better. Lake Water should be purified/replaced periodically.
Horrible place no cleanliness dirty linens booked for my anniversary thru make my trip but gave me most unclean room with hair all around staff too unwelcoming don t even deserve one star
Good resort. Close to Pondicherry but not close enough - so you are away from the typical rush of a tourist location. The location is great - left side of the road when traveling to Pondicherry on ECR. The rooms are neat. One main issue - the rooms on the top floor are not sound proof. I could hear kids two rooms away screaming inside my room.
Have to be so much patience if you end up having worst food after paying more than anywhere ..... worst
A royal place to stay in pondicherry it has the rooms of very royal interior and also the great environment has the big swimming pool in it for thr great experience ther we can buy some tshirts which are different that will change color in sunlight the staying here is great being to be
Ambiance is good but you can clearly sense a lack of proper management.. staffs are not at all flexible.. for example... i have reached the hotel at 10 am in the morning as my train got delayed... the breakfast time was just over when i reached there. When i asjed for some food as there was not even a tea shop available in the nearby places,,restaurant staffs where so adament and they've told me that the kitchen was closed... after repeated requests they finally served me a sandwich .. the sot of two simple sandwiches were Rs. 1000/- .. if you order domething to room service they often forget about the same and you will have to repeatedly remind them.... whater in wash room is bit stinky so,, you wont feel fresh even after taking a shower (i dont know if they are using treated water in the bathrooms)...
Hospitality Of The Front desk management should be better.
Feel like you are in Thailand or Bali having really long water ways around the stays creating contrasting ambience out of the gate . Nice place for parties group hangouts and pleasant stays.

The facility is very good and well maintained . Has lot of space within the resort compound and plenty of activity as well. There is a beach 500 mts from the resort but that's not a private beach .
The rooms are spacious and has uber setup interiors like LCD TV, centralised AC, bathtub , shower area , small refrigerator, kettle to make your cup of quick cofee or tea . Sleep quality is good. There is a balcony with a easy chair to relax .. facing the water side of the resort.
The breakfast spread very good for both veg and non veg and they extebded the breakfast till 10 AM .
The resort also has kids play area but is not very good in condition . The pool is a flat 4ft deep pool and well maintained.. the kids pool is 2ft and easy for kids to have fun .
There are ducks, goats, rabbits etc in the resort to keep your kids occupied if needed.
It is a good resort to stay and relax and contains many adventure activities in premises. Plus u can enjoy on beach because it is only 300mts away from beach.
Today 20.11.2018 we conducted our son Mr. Irshad Ahmed post wedding reception function at Ocean Spray Resorts Pondicherry it was very much memorable day and the natural green environments near to beach and swimming pool and Rooms for Leisure gives you more comfortable and enjoyable times! The food menu choices was fantastic and tasty food and reasonable prices and very humble and courteous catering staff and especially the Senior Manager Mr.Murugavel so polite and kind very much friendly! I strongly recommend Ocean Spray Puducherry for leisure and families any function !

Great place for a chilled out holiday. The swimming pool is just huge and quiet amazing! Breakfast buffet is good... But a little repititive on day three or four. Also the main restaurant didn't serve alcohol. But the staff is courteous and overall food is good.
It was very good they even had many games a little expensive but really good the swimming pool was a bit dirty cause there were leaves inside
We stayed here for 2 nights. The property is quite nice. The staff is well mannered. Food is ok. Great place to relax. Only thing is that this place is far away from main city so you need to have your own vehicle.
A pleasant experience at the resort - though not well maintained. The artificial lake which was supposed to be the highlight was very dirty and hence the lake view villas were really not worth it. Nevertheless a nice place to relax and spend and day. The swimming was huge and really nice (again the changing rooms were the worst I have seen though)

Very old hotel. We stayed in the villa. Overpriced. Totally unresponsive staff. Chose this place because it looked good in photos. Regret it.

Only three ! They have a wonderful pool and nice ambiance. But the rooms requires renovation. There jacuzzi tub buttons worn off even bath room washbasin was clogged - very clumsy!
It's a quite place, near to sea. Morning walk with the nature was wonderful. Check you room before check-in to ensure a happy stay.
