Grungy, hippie, young, unpretentious .... very close to what it was forty two years ago. Travelers, Academics, Intellectuals WARMLY WELCOME - as is everyone else. CHALLENGING TO FIND: It's a tight corner 50 feet from the little plaza.

In 42 years, the place has changed very little: a little 'blue house' in the song of Maxime the Forestier, welcoming to all and a good refuge for the nerds and travelers. Too bad that the tables of board games have been replaced ... Very good pancakes and excellent cider, thank you!
ATTENTION not easy to find, nestled in a small nook at 15m. of the plot. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE DETOUR!

the pancakes can be quite good but the reception is very bad. 2 waitresses are arrogant. I went with my 2 friends, we ordered drinks and three pancakes. we waited more than 45 minutes, when we saw that people who arrived after us were served, we suspected that they have forgotten us. so we asked if our orders will arrive soon. a waitress answered dryly saying that there are many people "as we can see". then when she brought the pancakes of my friends she said that there is no more ingredient of my crepe so "she lets me choose another pancake". she did not even apologize, that's what I find unacceptable. I understand that they are very busy, it is hard and tiring to serve many people at the same time. it was midday and the creperie was filled indeed. but when you wait almost an hour your order and we told you after one hour that there is more "without excuse"! you do not want to go back to this place anymore.

The pancakes are good there. Salads too. The setting is pleasant and calm. The staff have always been friendly there, however, it is always, always very long despite the smallness of the place and the regularity of the clientele.

We ordered ham and egg crepes, we found them very rich, but the best thing was the violet ice cream and the attention, the waitress was very friendly and spoke Spanish. An average of 10 euros is spent per person. We will repeat before we leave!

We ate twice at Le Bol Bu and loved it each time. Service was friendly and prompt and the food didn't take long to arrive. Both times the server/ cook of the day spoke excellent English, and what is rarer, each was happy to let me practice my French without being patronising about it. The crepes were tasty, and we were blown away by the organic sheep's milk icecream in flavours like violet flower or salted caramel. Where else in the world can you taste something like that, and all for the price of an ordinary cow's milk icecream back here in NZ. Speaking of which, any Aucklander out there who remembers the way the cafes along Ponsonby Road used to be will enjoy the hippie vibe and decor. That along with the gracious behaviour of the staff put me in mind of the old Three Dog Night song: "Everyone's happy, everyone is so kind, on the road to Shambala." Thanks to the staff at Le Bol Bu for the lovely experiences.

We were looking for a good Creperie and found luckily this place. Excellent salads with tasty dressings, Crepes very delicious, also juice and sirup. Everything was freshly made and very well composed, great value for money. Just sometimes you need a little patience as service is cook as well. And everything is fresh. But I did say that already

Good creperie, very good choice of tea and atypical decoration. However big black, several times we were refused under the pretext of closing when it was 2 hours before the closure announced on the front ... they close when they wish without respecting what they announce, we do not will return more.

One of my favorite places in Toulouse for over 10 years! A completely offset frame with vintage objects. Do not expect to have the same plate or the same glass as your neighbor, this is not the concept. We eat very well and for a perfectly reasonable budget, you will have a savory pancake, a sweet pancake and a teapot of your favorite tea (hey jasmine with pancakes is divine). I love and recommend.

Timeless place. Great savoury pancakes and good choice of teas. Highly recommended eatery, a stone throw from the hustle and bustle of rue St Rome. Been eating there for almost 30 years and still love it as in the beginning

Cozy and with those bohemian airs of the France of the 20s. Good service and good coffee at a good price, they have teas with flavors and flavored, delicious crepes. In addition, the attention of the waitresses is very good and several idoomas speak.

One of the oldest tearoom in Toulouse ... retro style, cool baba unchanged for 40 years ... Pancakes and coffees or delicious infusions ... and small terrace in a quiet street in old Toulouse ... Not to be missed to lack...!

I love :

I love :
The place, cabinet of curiosities hidden in an alley of the old center
Pancakes, prepared with love (bio)
The teas, served in large bowls mismatched
Ideal a rainy day to cheer up!

Small friendly place with a rich and varied menu. With winter temperatures, the bowl of hot chocolate and the crepe with brown sugar .... a treat!
Special mention for the decor and the nice staff.

It's beautiful, it's good, it's good!

It's beautiful, it's good, it's good!
It is also unfortunately one of the last creperies worthy of the name on Toulouse.
A bit expensive, especially since it is "organic", I invite you to go and taste their pancakes & their salads, they are succulent!
Home of the most pleasant.

I love this old tea room ... One of the oldest in Toulouse.I went there for the first time 40 years ago when I passed the tray ... everything is delicious .... and it has not changed, they have not ceded to the sirens of fashion ... and it is in the city center in one of the quietest streets of Toulouse ...!

After going out with friends one night to eat pancakes, I can say that the bowl is a nice and quiet tea room. The pancakes are good and you have the possibility to eat lactose and gluten free for 1 euros more by opting for buckwheat dough.

The pancakes are excellent but the choice limited. Good choice of teas. Reasonable prices. But a deplorable welcome to believe that doing the head is a prerequisite for hiring. And the service is structurally extremely slow ... even to pay. A trendy tea room, must love.

You might have to wait quite a while before getting your food, so I wouldn't advise to go there for a quick meal but god is the food worth it , been a costumer for years, the decoration is unique and beautiful, the food tastes amazing and the waiters are very sweet!

Passing, by chance, where, I sought to restore myself. A stop in this magical place, where the time of a lunch break, I appreciate, the quality of the meal, the service, and the advice of the boss. A stop at the toilet, where, I could read a note quite adequate to this place, provided you know English. The order complies, arrives at your table, and humm! What to feast on, and enjoy a tea like you never drank. The name of the place, is not chosen by chance, if you are in the area, do not try to stop you!

Superb place, little bui-bui adored Toulouse, hidden in a small street away from tourists.

Their teas and hot drinks are excellent with a large selection, and the reasonable price (served in teapot, bowl ...). Nevertheless pancakes, though good, are too expensive for what they are.

For several years I have frequented this place. Always very pleasant, whether for a snack, lunch or just a cup of tea. Besides, they have a large selection of tea. Always well received and well advised. Finally the little extra: the decoration is fantastic!
