Bob's Steak & Chop House- Grapevine Review

Simply the best steakhouse in the area. Always our first choice!

Just turned us away with a reservation on my daughters 13th Birthday. Claimed there was no parking but there was an empty space in front of us. Manager refused to even look and was too busy to care. Couldn t be bothered. Don t plan a special celebration here.

We love this place!!! Food, drinks and service always exceed expectations!

Terrible waitress....not at all that friendly. We ordered an appetizer of shrimp platter....waitress asked if we decided on entrees....we told her no...we wanted to wait and order after we finished the shrimp. We waited about 30 minutes after we finished appetizer before she came back. Then she seemed annoyed when my friend asked if we could slit the 9 oz. Filet Mignon.....she said would be better to order the 12 or 16 oz! We are in our 60's and don't eat big portions. Anyway we order one 9 oz filet.....and i told her i wasn't having an entree. His meal comes....everything on plate was so very very hot. The mashed potatoes burned his mouth...he cut me a piece of carrot....and so hot i had to spit out...and filet was worst overcooked filet mignon i ever had! We also each had a glass of wine. We are thinking maybe they nuked everything on plate to make hot!!! Ugh....$$$$ NOT WORTH THE MONEY THEY CHARGE!!!! We spent a lot for a terrible meal...never ever going back!!!!!!

Great steak restaurant, with a long list of meats and a short seafood menu. Vegetable sides were delicious. Fish of the day (chilean sea bass) was tasty. Nice wine list. Service was great and worked well with our large group of 10 (we did make a reservation). Desserts were incredibly large - cheesecake was delicious, bread pudding was a little mushy.

Visited for the 1st time for our Wedding Anniversary and had an outstanding time. Excellent food, service and experience. Will definitely visit again.

Best meat you'll ever put in your mouth! Damn they know how to cook some steak! Very good wine selection as well as a full bar! If planning on going on the weekend make a reservation and either be ready to walk a lil bit or get your car valets at the door. While you dont have to "dress up" you should at least have a collared shirt on.

Best steaks around, great service, it gets very busy make sure you make a reservation a few days ahead of time.

Went here for an anniversary dinner. The new your strip had a wonderful crust on it, and the ribeye was melt in your mouth tender. Both steaks were cooked perfectly at medium rare. Our experience was fantastic and the staff was engaged.

What a completely awesome dinner. Several people recommended Bob's and we're so glad that they did. Our food was perfect, without a doubt some of the best steaks we've ever had. Our waiter Daniel was super and even managed to get us a tour of the kitchen which was a real treat too.

Our Easter dinner was PHENOMENAL! Easy to order, brought out to the curb and placed nicely in back seat of our car. The food was absolutely AMAZING. We ordered for 10 people and barely ate half of it. The prime rib and roasted carrots and carrot cake were the best we have ever had. Re-heating directions were clear and easy. Packaging was service ready. Absolutely top notch. Thank you to Bob's of Grapevine for an amazing dinner that was also an amazing value.

Steak is fabulous and the team members are very courteous and welcoming. You can t go wrong ordering anything here, it s all great!

Fantastic food and service, but can be a bit noisy.

Great menu, dishes tonight were superb and service top notch. We had Chilean Bass and Filet, the Bass would melt in your mouth. Thanks to Monti, Brant, and the rest of the team for their detailed attention.

Service was exceptional, daughters ribeye was fantastic, my bone-in ribeye was similar to Texas Road house quality and taste. Other than my ribeye I would have given 5 stars.

I am giving 3 stars based on this being such a noisy restaurant. I have been here almost a dozen times and it's the same every time, loud. Food is great.

The food and service were well worth the price you pay. They definitely go above and beyond including we told them we were celebrating purchasing our home and they gave us a free dessert. This is a great place to enjoy when you are celebrating a special occasion.

This is where we go for excellent service and food. Always consistent in food quality, excellent service, and great environment. Can be noisy during busiest times, but tables in the back are quieter.

I had my birthday dinner at Bob's last night and had a bittersweet experience. The wait staff was amazing, the food was far from it. I ordered the steak and lobster; I asked for my steak to be prepared medium and came out rare. My waiter took it back and a manager brought it back well done. The best items I had off the menu was the Sutter Home Moscato and a bite of my daughter's chopped salad. The price was fair for a steakhouse, but I would save it and go eelsewhere.

It was absolutely amazing! My wife and I went there for our 17th anniversary and was very pleased. Our waiter Jordan was really great at his job and helped with our selection and he nailed it! Definitely going back because the food is amazing! Great staff and beautiful atmosphere.

We always eat at Bob's when visiting DFW. The food and service are always top-notch! Had the surf-and-turf. It was fantastic!

I made my reservation several weeks ago in anticipation of travel. I d be lying if I told you I wasn t thinking about this for weeks Zagat Rated 4.6 Stars on Google with 178 votes Seriously, what could go wrong?!

As I get out of my Uber and approach the front door as if by magic, all the doors open. You get a great Vibe from the moment your foot hits the pavement.

Promptly seated and offered a choice of booth or table, tonight I opted for the booth. My server, Keith was amazing. Extremely accommodating and worked the menu to my liking. I wanted less, but more if it. A variation of dishes scaled to size so that I could indulge yet not stuff. Keith s recommendations were spot on!

First out, around loaf of bread served warm with a square of room softened butter Delicious. I only had a small piece for taste



Any time there s Lobster Bisque on the menu, I partake Rich stock Chunks of Lobster meat garnished with Onions Having had Lobstah Bisque in some of the finest restaurants in New England, I must say I was surprised that it was as good as it was. With your eyes closed, you d swear you were in Maine Only better that some of the places up there Wow!

For the main this evening A 9 Oz Prime Filet prepared Medium Pink center thruout. What can I say, I m a Filet guy Served with their signature Glazed Carrot The first one was a degree or so over but they immediately replaced it with another that was just absolutely perfect.





Although the desert offerings were plentiful and extremely tempting, I exercised some minor form of control and just opted to finish with just my signature Cappuccino

A great place....ordered the Rib Eye and it was great...but then I tried a Fillet and this one was out of this World !!!

Anniversary dinners there a couple times. Great bar. Great service. Fred Flintstone size bone-in ribeye.

Service and food is top notch! Try the pork chop the homemade apple sauce will make you feel 6 years old inside.

Steven was our waiter and was fabulous! We are from out of town and the GM came to our table and offered us a free dessert because it was our first time at the restaurant. The food was phenomenal. Could not have asked for a better meal or experience at this place.

Delicious Lobster Bisque is a must have. The refreshing palette cleansing pickle was a nice snack. Overall a delightful delicious experience.
