Bob's Steak & Chop House- Grapevine Review

I have bought gift certificates several years for my children for Christmas. This is the first time I ate here myself. The 12 oz filet dinner with a baked potato set me back about 50 bucks. The server brought sour cream butter chives and bacon to top my baked potato. The steak had no prior flavoring as it needed none but its own juices. This is the best steak I've had in Texas so far. I intend to return. The service is top-notch and friendly.

Went here for my wife's birthday. She said it was the best steak she has ever had. Very nice staff manager visited our table to wish my wife a happy birthday. We will be back.

Fantastic. Wedge salad was exactly what I was craving to start.
The steak had a nice crust and was incredibly tender inside. Carrot was so-so.
Definitely will be back.

Both my wife thought the steak was what I expected from a Saltgrass Steak House. Ask for medium and was burnt outside. Meat seemed dry and tough. I was surprised that when we got in the car my wife said same thing. Our friends said theirs was great. I don't send food back because of
embarrassment.and time. I'm not sure about a second $130.00 try. Great service...

Good steaks and side dishes. Would be more stars but my bone-in ribeye had some gristle and not as tender as normal.

Amazing meal! Be prepared to leave a "car payment" behind. Definitely not "Outback". From the white linen on the tables, to the severs brushing crumbs off the table to the "water fillers" who literally grab your water glass the second you place it on the table. There were 5 of us and think our bill was close to $1000(I had a margarita that was $40....the one I really wanted was $150).

You just cannot go wrong at Bob's. Pickles are great. Lamb chops are incredible. Had the Sea Bass for the first time and it did not disappoint. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I suffer from food allergies and it's nice to have a place show actual concern and not go over the top with it.

The restaurant looks and feel beautiful to be there eating. Celebrating our 4 year anniversary. The staffs and management are very friendly, very great customer services. 4.5 star should be 5.0 star rating for this restaurant. The food are amazing delicious, my wife got the prime fillet mignon and I got the rack of lamb both are delicious. Making us feel like we need to come here again next week. Thanks for giving us the best experience at Bob's.

This has been my husband's favorite forever. Its quickly becoming one of mine. We can count on perfect food, great service, being seated in a good area and the wine special is always something I look forward to. We probably go far too often!

The service was above and beyond and the food exceptional.
It's the perfect place for that special occasion. We will definitely go back for our future events.

Wonderful experience at Bob s Chop House! I had come solo and wanted to sit at the bar (always awkward to be solo and sit at a table for 4). Anyways, bar was full so I sat at a table, all good just wasn t my preference. Moments later the manager arrived and heard the bar wasn t available but was able to make a space for me at a table near the bar. Without going too deep he took me from a table I was just okay with to an awesome table that I was excited about. The point being I was seated and not complaining in anyway but just hearing about it he came over and made it perfect - they want you to be happy here!

Meal was excellent: steak flavorful and perfectly cooked. Perfect 10 for a classic American steakhouse.

Seafood was surprisingly delicious considering being in the middle of Texas. Steak was like butter baby. Their signature drink, The Dirty Bob, was nice and strong. Friendly, knowledgeable waiter. Great dining experience.

Very nice establishment with great atmosphere. The staff were very kind and never had to ask for anything extra. The menu is straightforward and the prices are high but well worth it.

The tomahawk wagyu steak is the best thing I've put in my mouth that early on a Saturday night. The mushrooms are a close second. Service was excellent.

Food came out way too fast. Rushed us out by clearing off the table before we finished. Very loud. Not worth the price.

Pleasurable experience! We met family there for dinner. We had our 5 year old twins with us and the staff were very accommodating. The service was A+. The food was very rich in taste and the price was not as high as I thought it would be.

Bob's is a steak experience like no other in the Grapevine/Southlake area. Prompt service, excellent food and amazing desserts make this an adventure for your appetite. Celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions here; but only if you enjoy fabulous steaks. You will not be disappointed.

I took my fiance there for her bday. It was nothing short of amazing. The service and food were both excellent. I got the prime Ribeye which was cooked so perfect. The flavor was amazing. Looking forward to visiting again!

Service was great and the carrots were excellent. Rib eye steak was flavorful but lacked in thickness. Sad to say it was a well cooked piece of meat from a grocery store. Over priced for the quality

Everything melts in your mouth with a finish of perfection! Great atmosphere and energy. Zach made my husband and I feel like Royalty.

Bob's is quite possibly the best steakhouse I have ever been to. I will say a couple of things:

If you're looking for a steak that's not too expensive here but is absolutely delicious, go Sirloin. My husband got the strip steak and was disappointed at the fact that there was more fat and bone than meat and he paid 3X the amount for his steak than mine. So definitely go for the sirloin. All meat, baby!

As far as appetizers go, my absolute favorite is the smoked salmon. They didnt have it on the menu anymore when I went so i had to request it but they did it for me! It comes with toasted bread, lemons, capers, and sauce if you really want it. It's perfect with just lemon juice and capers.

I am not a drinker at all.... like whatsoever. But I had a glass of wine for the first time in 5 years and I was not disappointed. I had their moscato and it wasnt dry at all. It was sweet and full of flavor.

They have amazing cooked carrots that are almost as good as Kirbys Steakhouse.

Only been here once, and it was the best steak I've ever had in my life. Wagyu tomahawk steak. Shared a dessert with my family. Amazing luxury place to eat.

There were TVs in the urinals playing college basketball. No expense spared here. Amazing.

For what it is this was very average. We felt like we had better steaks at lesser chain restaurants.

Bob's Steakhouse has the absolute best steak I have ever had in my life. Seriously, ... And the Marbled Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake was sinfully delicious!

Hide your valuables!!! Let me just say that there was nothing wrong with the dining experience at Bob's. The food was good, service was on point, the bill was what I expected from a fine dining establishment. My issue has to do with the valet service at Bob's, and unfortunately for Bob, their valet service is something that they are responsible for, therefore, my gripe falls on the restaurant's shoulders.
Upon our arrival we proceeded to use valet to park. Nothing eventful, until the next day, when my wife noticed that her Beats headphones were gone from the cubbie right in the front console of her SUV. She remembered them being there because she actually pushed them into the cubbie as we were getting ready to valet park, and additionally, she knew they were in the SUV because she had gone to the gym that morning and left them there.
We looked endlessly trying to find them before I contacted Monte (General manager) at Bob's. He was very pleasant on the issue and assured me that he would look into the situation himself. That was really the last time I heard from Monte, as there was no real follow up, but only a voice mail saying that he was still looking into the situation. I contacted Monte once more to give the restaurant a chance to reimburse me for the clear theft of my wife's headphones, and that is when Monte ultimately told me that they are not responsible for any losses incurred due to the valet service. I asked whether he knew if the valet was bonded for such losses, and they are not. So, diners, as you are ready to go have your tasty Bob's, make sure you either lock everything of value in your trunk if you choose to valet, or just park and walk yourself over to the restaurant.

This place is awesome. The steaks are delicious. The staff takes special care in accommodating their customers. The ribeye is great. The carrot cake is delicious . I would try the Lobster Bisque and the Lobster Mac and Cheese.

I have been coming to Bob's for 10 years and have always had nothing but top notch service... However, tonight we go and it is freezing cold so a couple of us Patrons sitting by the fire adding wood all night long until a mgr I've never seen comes and scolds us like we were 5 year olds saying he can't leave until the fire is out.... Seriously??? Then turn the a/c off and quit freezing everyone.... Or add the wood yourself!! Either way I'm not concerned about when you can leave!!!

Amazing dinning experience. I ordered Rack of lamb it was super juicy and full of flavors. My friend order Seared Duck Breast which was also good. The servers were very nice. Been here twice and always loved it.

The atmosphere is amazing, service was really cool too! But I think for what they charge for the steaks facing the actual taste, very overpriced. Nevertheless, a good private place to eat

Steaks were extremely tasty. Loved the feel and the service was on point. That round bread was hard to cut. PRO TIP: turn the bread upside down to cut. Make air so much easier. The ribeye had great marveling to it and will be trying the bone in next time. Keith was an amazing server for our night out.

Great service, excellent food, portion sizes are large for the price, great atmosphere. Bacon wrapped shrimp with chipotle sauce was awesome.

My family recently had dinner here and highly recommend it. Our waitress, Timberly, was the best ever she made food recommendations that were outstanding and the service was top-notch. The General Manager, Mr. Morris, came by several times to check on our experience and to make sure we were more than just pleased, and the Sommelier, Mr. Newsome, checked on us and had a very enlightening conversation about wines and associated wine regions! The entire experience was spectacular and made my wife s birthday one she says she won t forget! Highly recommend the filet, the duck, and the rib eye. The bisque and champagne soup were both remarkable, but the brownie and ice cream for desert really topped off the experience! The food and service were both unbeatable, and we look forward to coming back soon!

Totally lived up to the hype as a solid steakhouse! Everything I ordered was absolutely perfect! Filet was amazing, cooked exactly the way I like it, and the creamed spinach was so good I ate the entire thing without sharing. Heck, even the pickled peppers were good! Would go back their anytime.

Good wine list, rack of lamb was excellent, nice vegan recipe for my guests, key lime pie was amazing, service always top shelf. Still one of my favorite places.

Incredible experience! We took our son for his birthday celebration. He is turning 12 and said ,"He wanted to go to a classy restaurant." The entire evening was top notch.

Monty, the GM, came by the table and talked with our son. He also took him back for a tour of the kitchen. Our son was blown away.

The food was of course amazing and the chocolate cake for dessert was incredible.

No matter what kind of celebration you are planning, Bob's should be on your consideration list.

The Wagyu Tomahawk was out of this world. Never disappointed leaving Bobs.

Out server Patrick was great.... informitive... knowledgeable... and not overbearing like some places we have been.... the T bone was melt in your mouth tender... smashed potatoes perfect anlong with the peppercorn gravy... if in Grapevine this is a must try

The food was excellent; we had the Wagyu filets. However, the service was very lacking. Our waiter disappeared for at least 20 minutes and then another gentleman came to fill in, dropped the dessert list and never returned. We waited again for a lengthy time and by this time were not interested in waiting around for dessert, even though the key lime pie sounded delicious and my husband had been raving about it. This was unfortunate since it was our 18th Anniversary and his previous experience had been far superior.

Their food, as always, was exceptional. Wagyu steak was the perfect black and blue as we asked for and the Creme Brulee was scrumptious.

Filet ordered medium, came out well+; creme brulee frozen in center; bread pudding very hot in center and cold on sides.....would not recommend.

What a great dining experience!
Had dinner with a large group of customers last night. Food was great as expected but the staff took the experience to another level. Sean the Maitre d , Adam behind the bar, servers Chris and Shay were AWESOME. Can t wait for my next visit in the new year.

Awesome dinner! Attention to detail was spot on, and service was great all around. The food tasted great, and thr atmosphere was great for our business dinner! Definitely recommended!
