Went to test drive a Chevy Bolt after seeing a good ad. Salesman introduced himself with "I don't know much about the Bolt" and proved himself right... He knew nothing about it. Sat down, gave the standard info, had the trade in appraised, waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After 25 minutes we left. I don't even know what their price was! I told the salesman to call me with the numbers. He did call back but such a frustrating experience.

The customer service from the guy Steve was absolutely horrible. I had a scheduled appointment just for an oil change & tire rotation. First of all he tried to overcharge me, when I ve been coming to this dealership for oil changes since having my last vehicle and I ve always paid the same price. I m upset because I m there two hours for a scheduled appointment. About an hour and half into my appointment I asked how much longer before they re done because I had to get my daughter from school. He didn t even go check, he just says with an attitude, you re vehicle is up in the air now, maybe 15-20 minutes he just has to put air in the tires, which was a lie. I waited 15 more minutes & see that my tires hadn t even been rotated nor was any air put in my tires yet. So my vehicle had probably just got started being serviced. I m just upset at the way I was treated by Steve while being there and also having to wait 2 hours for a scheduled appointment. I was late picking up my daughter from school because of all of this. Steve told me the wait would be about an hour or so then when I came back he says yet again with an attitude, that I was told it would be almost two hours. If he would ve told me that I had to wait 2 hours then I would ve left because I knew I had to get my daughter from school by a certain time. Absolutely horrible customer service!
Not a good experience. 1st made appointment on line to have inspection done and oil change on my vehicle that I lease from you. Get there 10 minutes before appt, told need to go to new building , shown where to go. Drive over there and wait outside of bay with green light. Another vehicle pulls up to other bay. We both go inside and I tell service desk I have an appt. Told to go out and wait in your vehicle and someone will come over. They go over to the person that came after me take them in. Another vehicle pulls up they talk with them then come to me. They tell me they don't take appts it's first come first served. Then tell me it will be at least 45 minutes before they will take me in and then another hour or so to do the inspection/oil change. I said thank you I will go to Firestone. Never again!! If you don't accept appts then remove it from your website.
Your Quick Lube Service Advisor,DJ Allen Jr, was phenomenal. He quickly waited on me with a smile and explained the work thoroughly that would be done on my car. He quoted me an hour service time and the car was done within 40 minutes. Thank you to the whole team for being so professional.

I am currently waiting in the Bob Johnson Chevrolet waiting room and have been since my appointment time at 2:30. It is now 4:30. I am here for an oil change and a recall, which should all take about 1 hour to complete. My car was taken in literally seconds ago to start the work. This is unacceptable. The service advisor I am working with has said NOTHING to me since I got here and I have had to communicate with someone else. I will not be coming back.

This was the second time that I ve been to Bob Johnson s and gotten a car. I leased a new 2019 Equinox s and was able to turn in my old lease early no problem. I enjoyed my experience so much that when my dad said he was in the market for a new car without a thought I told him to go to Bob Johnson s. They treated myself and my dad like family and we were both able to walk away with new cars and a great deal.
We had a HORRIBLE experience at Bob Johnson Chevrolet. For a dealership that is "#1 in the nation" we spent almost 6 hours there after we test drove the car and told them we wanted to purchase it. How do they sell sooooo many cars when it takes them half a day to sell one? Furthermore, we are out of state residents and asked if this would be an issue. They claimed that this would not be a problem as they do many out of state sales. Travis, the financial guy, even explained how his cousin comes up from Maryland to buy her cars. There were MAJOR issues with getting plates from our home state. We even went to the MVA ourselves to try to transfer our plates from our old car like we explained to our sales guy, Mike. The MVA said they didn't have the information from the dealership to transfer the plates. After two weeks of calling we finally received our new license plates in the mail on the day our temporary plates expired. So now we have to go back to the MVA to return our old license plates because we can no longer transfer them! Take home message: shop somewhere else!!! I wish there was an option for no stars on the rating.

Straight forward, friendly and efficient. I dealt well with my salesman - Chris Callari. After we finalized the deal and completed all the 'dot the Is and crossed the Ts' stuff. I was handed over to Xiomara in the technology department for some vehicle instructions. And I was very impressed. Not only was she very competent and efficient...she was a pleasure to meet and work with. In fact - just listening to her handle On Star incompetence on the phone...I learned how to deal with unqualified 'phone techs'! Stern, although respectful and professional, but clear in her expectations and the eventual results. Both - Chris and Compares did great work.

This company is horribly corrupt, they charged me a $100 for just an Electronic diagnosis fee before they would touch my car. Then they charged me $1000!!!!!!!!!!!!! to fix my ignition system. Extremely overpriced go literally anywhere else, ANYWHERE!!

I had an awful experience since my the last car salesmen has moved on from bob Johnson. My lease is up in the next year so I thought I would start get a jump start on info for the next step to lease or buy the car I am in so I made an appointment. The new lady I was assigned called/texted me everyday for a week to make sure I was coming to my appointment so I showed up 15 early and excited to get info on getting in a new car. I sat there for an extra 45 minutes on top of me getting there 15 minutes early. When she finally showed up she could care less she keep me waiting and told me I would have to reschedule. I was very upset and I explained to her with my schedule I'm constantly on the road for work and she just shrugged her shoulders and said I'm sorry. Ive been driving Chevys for the last 18 years and after this experience I'm looking else where. I did chat with another car salesmen for 15 minutes after and he told me this was common with her and a few other sales men since its all about getting their monthly sales in. Your just a number at bob Johnson Chevrolete in Greece NY.

Just purchased a 2014 Silverado 1500 z71 4x4. They had the best price in town. Sale I hit was $10,000 off sticker price. Salesman was awesome, quick approval, Even had quick response to fix a check engine light when I was picking it up. I have dealt with them a long time ago when I first moved to Rochester. Glad to see the service has not changed ( good service back then, good service now).

Purchased a car there in July of 2013. It was my first time purchasing a new car. Great experience, left feeling like a got the best deal. The matched my down payment and over spent on my trade in! The service center is okay, takes about an hour to get an oil change. Their online platform was difficult to navigate but they just revamped it, and I am very happy that they did!! Overall I would recommend Bobby J's to anyone!
The worst car dealership ever. DO NOT USE. HORRIBLE. I mean HORRIBLE customer service. Service department is horrible. Receptionist hung up on me when I was trying to complain about my horrible service. I cannot wait for my lease to be up and never have to deal with this place ever again. It makes my stomach turn that I still have to give this place my money. I get anxious even thinking about having to go there.
Zero stars wasn t an option. Arrived for a scheduled appointment with email confirmation for an oil change and rotation. There must have been 30 cars ahead of me. Was told by attendant that they don t schedule appointments but they d give me priority. 2 hours later it was done. NEVER TO RETURN THERE AGAIN FOR ANYTHING!

How are these people still in business, when they can't get their act together? I needed a quick oil change. I called ahead to check on the wait time. I was told there was no wait time and to come right in. I drove up to the service center and it did not look busy at all. The tech on site said they can change my oil right away. I go inside to check my car in and the counter guy tells me it will be a three hour wait because they were so busy. How did they get so busy in the 30 seconds it took me to walk from my car to the counter? I'll never buy another car here EVER again.

Re: Bob Johnson's Websmart Auto: NOT SAFE! 10 min after driving off the lot, THE ACCELERATOR STUCK and I had to jump the curb into a parking lot to avoid hitting another car. Upon inspection, the accelerator cable had apparently snapped once before and was was TIED in a KNOT to the throttle. The knot got caught, preventing the throttle to close. They took FOUR DAYS to get the car "ready" after I paid for it.... what were they doing to it? Obviously not inspecting it. Also, the air filter and spark plugs were NOT changed- something you expect to be done when buying a used car from a dealer. Three days after their car nearly killed me, I noticed that the AC in the car didn't work, so I brought it back. They kept it overnight and said it was "fixed" the next day. Still blowing warm air. I brought it back AGAIN and they said it was working when they had it, so I must have broken it. Crooks! They also sold me a warranty on repairs. I paid an extra $2000 for this warranty, yet EVERY TIME I brought the car in they told me the same thing, "that's not covered under your warranty." What is?? Gas pump failed: not covered. Alternator went: not covered. Tie rods: not covered. Transmission started skipping: they couldn't reproduce the problem & said it was fine. Thieves!

I had an appointment for TWO WEEKS and they called me the day of to cancel my appointment due to having no rentals!! how are you supposed to be number one in the nation but suck in customer service? Beyond disgusted with them and will never purchase another vehicle from them again. i m taking my sticker and license plate brackets off my car... i WILL NOT represent them.
I walked in after having a less than acceptable experience at Bob Johnson's back in October of last year. I wanted the car that I wanted - and was willing to try one more time. My expectations were met 100%! My salesman, Doug C was fantastic, efficient and truly concerned for my overall satisfaction. He, John in finance and Peter, were all set to make sure that THIS visit was an absolute success. They wanted to retain me as a customer and 3 hours after wrapping it all up, I drove my new car home! I will most definitely return there in the fall when shopping for my daughter's car. Everyone that I know will be hearing about this dealership. Thanks again, guys. Very dissatisfied with service department. We are now in day 4 of an air conditioning repair & I am still waiting for my vehicle to be finished. I was told it would be done early this a.m., it is now 4:05 p.m. & it is still not done. I have not received any calls from service writer about progress or problems with repair.
This is my first lease. I have purchased new many times through other dealers, however, I never considered a lease. The process was very easy and the staff was amazing. I had a remote start added after the purchase and service was also wonderful! I would recommend this dealer to family and friends. In fact, my oldest daughter is in a market for a replacement car soon and we will be bringing her to Bob Johnson's for the replacement.

My truck was damages when I picked it up from the service department and manager Chris Cod refused to make it right. The damage definitely did not happen on my watch!! Picked it up on a Monday evening and noticed the damage Wednesday afternoon. He acted like I was trying to pull a fast one. Strongly recommend Brady from sales but take your car somewhere else for service!
We shopped for various vehicles to meet our needs and price range. The sales team shown below all helped us narrow down out choices to a Trax AWD. Steve Levine took over from there to help us further narrow down our choices and prices to the final decision. All the staff involved were friendly and very helpful. we've been customers of this dealership for decades. If they weren't as good as they are, we wouldn't have stayed with them so long.
Wow if you lease from Bob Johnson s be super careful of the hidden term charge I was socked with at the end of my lease!!!! I was taken off guard for $400.00 on my lease which I and my wife who never forgets a conversation was taken for. It has to be mentioned while you sign oodles of forms and it was not mentioned for us! Spread the word and let your friends know of this hidden trap! This is the first lease We have had with this special feature advantage and benefit end of term bonus. So.... we purchased a special insurance on top of our lease payment that would forgive an over mileage fee which we did go over at the finance office during the paperwork signing. We were supposed to be forgiven for $400.00 if we were to go over our lease agreement miles which we did. You ll never guess what happened next.... Got a bill for that $400.00 that was supposed to cover some of the over mileage fees we incurred. I mean, hey we payed for this insurance for this reason!! There is so much more to this story than I care to devote to this review but if Bob Johnson was up front with us we would not be in the mess. Now we are facing a bill we should not have to pay or risk our good credit rating being tarnished. Leaser beware of Bob Johnson s tactics!
Bob Johnson has horrible customer service in the sales and service department. I am leasing my truck and had recalls on it shortly after I picked it up. I had to bring my truck to the service department 4 times for them to be able to correct most of the issues. I still have problems with my truck that they insist are not their problem. When I brought my truck in for an oil change I watched my truck sit in the parking lot for over an hour as the manager insisted it wasn't mine and it wasn't done yet. Unfortunately I have to wait for my lease to end so I don't get screwed out of more money, however I will never have anything to do with Bob Johnsons except the day I have to turn my truck in. Garbage all around.
I went to Bob Johnson with the intention of checking out the Chevy Spark, seeing if I liked it, and moving on to another dealer if I didn't like it. They had other plans for me. After not loving the Spark, they attempted to find me a few alternatives. When I expressed that my two biggest concerns were gas mileage and affordability, they asked me to test drive a Chevy Volt while they ran the numbers on one to see what kind of deal they could get me. Long story short, I fell in love with the car and they--by some miracle--were able to bring the monthly payments into my price range. Through the entire experience, I felt like my wants were a priority to them and I'm very satisfied with how everything turned out.
Brady was excellent, he went above and beyond to make the sale as smooth as possible. Even though I was unsure at first if it was the right decision for me, he never got frustrated and never pressured me. I wasn't the easiest customer because I had no idea what car I wanted, he took the time to show me every option and answered every question. I will definitely be back and I've already told friends and family about how wonderful Bob Johnson is. Oh and I would be remiss to mention George; what a wonderful guy, just so genuine. I felt like family not a customer!
I dropped my car off to be diagnosed and I dealt with Andrew bisig my car was there for about 5 days and I was told that he did a diagnostic on the car and that it needed several things done when my fiance went to pick the car up he was told that they could not give him a printed diagnostic on the car and that they couldn't tell us what was wrong with it when Andrew verbally told me what was wrong with the car they then tried to charge us $350 for a diagnostic that they couldn't prove they did once my fiance got agitated and you know a little loud the manager then came out and told him they can't give us a diagnostic because they have to attach a part number to it and the part for my car doesn't exist anymore cuz it's nowhere in the country they can't find it. Several days later my cousin and I took her car to the same Chevy dealership we're the same things that were wrong with my car was wrong with her car she got with someone other than Andrew I believe his name was Chris when she got her car back she got a printed diagnostic of what was wrong with the car so I asked her the person that she dealt with chevy gives printed Diagnostics? He said absolutely and then handed her her printed diagnostic. So what was Andrew's problem with giving me my printed diagnostic because the same parts that I needed on my car my cousin needed on hers and she has a printed diagnostic. Needless to say this Chevy is not a great Chevy their sales team may have great rating but their service is lacking I would not recommend this place at all to anyone.
Unbelievably poor service. Dropped car off for simple work, Oil change, tire rotation, inspection. Should take an hour or two for this service on a bad day. I opted to rent a car so that I could leave the vehicle overnight. I ended up waiting over an hour just to get out of there with a rental car. I could have taken my vehicle to any other garage and had the entire service completed in that time. Called back at 3:00 PM this afternoon and they tell me they are still working on the car!! ... Update: Walked out to my car this morning and noticed that while they inspected the car and it passed, they apparently forgot to put the new inspection sticker on the vehicle. Looks like I get to go back again! Avoid this place at all costs.
Sam the salesman was very helpful with assisting my needs on my new Traverse. He was always just a text message/call away from any questions I had. The N.E.R.D. trainer was great in getting me set up with Onstar & showing me all the settings in my new vehicle. I have already recommended 2 family members to Bob Johnson.
Amazing service! Ben Hartwigh went above and beyond when it came to helping me find the first car! He spent a lot of time helping me find the right one for what I wanted and my price range and was very accommodating when it came to meeting times and everything! Would 1000% recommending coming here and especially to Ben when it comes to buying a car!
This place is hard to like. The cars they have are good, prices are okay. But they try to rob you on trade ins. They offered almost $3000 less than everywhere else did, and even when I tried to negotiate and make it work, I extended $2000 past my budget and they wouldn t move $250. This dealership lost a sale over $250. I visited 3 times to see the same car, was assured it was there when it was not, only to finally see it on the last visit and fall in love with it. But when they won t negociate at all, give me insultingly low offers and refuse to budge, there s nothing good to say about this place.
Absolutely HORRIBLE. went in with my dad to co-sign for me with a very short list of what I NEEDED. literally 2 things that were a must and everything else I was open to. One of the things was my budget. And I came in on Saturday and then sat around for 2 hours and did nothing. Was supposed to hear back that Monday - I tried contacting my salesmen but didn t hear back. Heard on Tuesday with an offer 27 dollars over my max budget and refused to come down on price. They told me I would have to get a different car - not an issue at all. I even reached out to my sales rep with an option of one less than what they showed me but again I was ghosted by both the salesmen and the finance manager. I even reached out to the sales manager and still nothing. It s like I was BEGGING them to take my money and finally after a week of this with NO PROGRESS I had to give up. Wouldn t recommend my WORST ENEMY to go there.
Service department is chaotic at best. Parking is a nightmare and the traffic pattern in front of the dealership is a mess. There is free wifi but the waiting room is spartan with only a few magazines, some torn children's books and a well-used kids' activity cube. The employees at the tech support desk were cursing behind the desk in full view of the customers. I probably wouldn't come here for service unless it was something covered under warranty and I'd bought the car there.

Went there in search of either a Malibu or implala i walked around to look at all of the inventory and wasn't approached by a single sales professional some even seen me and continued to do nothing, i hate to pull the race card but not sure if its beacuse of that and not to mention i was clueless of where cars were located. I just wish i was approached by someone(its your job) but i will not be doing business there off that simple fact I'll go elsewhere. To make things worse employee drove one of the vehicles recklessly makeing the tires screech loud i almost thought he was going to strike me because he came close to me attempting to park the car.
Andy Stewart was approachable, and non-intimidating. He was willing to talk to us, even though his shift was going to end in 40 minutes. Let me take the car for a test drive, and that was it, I wanted it. His professionalism showed when he tried to help accommodate within our budget. He left a positive impression on me and my wife. I have a 2013 Chevy Equinox that started having issues when it was only 3 years old. It was hesitating, jerking, stalling out and shifting hard out of 1st. I brought it in and was told that these models have an oil consumption problem and I have to follow the steps to have parts replaced. Which meant oil checks every 1000 miles until we get 10 bad checks. That took almost a year. They replaced pistons, gaskets and valves the first time. A few months later I was back in there for the same issues. I have had my car in there for service 4 times after the initial "repair" for the same issues. They have replaced the resonator, throttle position sensor, camshaft sensor, and actuator. After the last 'repair" Andrew said "Let's see if this fixes the issue...if not I have no idea what it could be and you just have to keep up on your oil changes." I still had the hesitation and shaking in the vehicle. I get my oil changed at about 2800 miles to avoid it stalling out. I was bringing the car back in for inspection and to discuss with them that it's still having the same issues, but my car decided to turn off while driving and flash low engine power. I was on a busy street when this happened! It had the shaking and hesitation that it always had and then shut off completely. I took it in and because it apparently is reading a different code from before it is now not covered. I spoke with Chris who said "we fixed the oil issue, so this is a different issue". I advised them they never fixed the oil issue because I still have low oil AND the shaking and stalling out. They are now trying to get me to pay for this part because it is conveniently off warranty, however it's the same issue that I originally brought it in for 3 years ago that they never fixed. They never actually knew what was wrong with the car just kept replacing parts hoping that each part would be the potential problem fixer. I am EXTREMELY upset and disappointed that I ever bought a vehicle from there seeing as their service department does not know what they are doing. I wish that I could've taken it to another auto shop to have it fixed! I will never buy a chevy again let alone from Bob Johnson.
I called to schedule a test drive and spoke to Nick B. I had scheduled it for the next day at 2. When I got there no one was around, and I called Nick and he said someone would be there in a couple minutes. Another associate in the meantime came up to us and let us know that the dealership was closed and we couldn t test drive. This associate was very demeaning and made us seem like we were in the wrong. Needless to say we won t be purchasing anything from there again, and will be taking our business elsewhere.
I have been in the market for a new Camaro since I sold my '94 to my oldest son. I had been on numerous websites and even considered buying a Ram pickup, ( I know right?), but I was always drawn back to Bob Johnson's website. I had both my '94 Camaro serviced there when the anti theft system kept me from starting the car, and my '04 blazer when the front hubs needed service among other things. I was always treated very well and never forgot that. I was also in contact with a sales rep from Hoselton Chevrolet, but I always knew I would ultimately buy from you. I will be sure to tell anyone who asks, about how everyone seems to go above and beyond to help. Thanks for helping me make my dream come true.
My Malibu was having an engine issue and I was very satisfied with the service I received. I was given a loaner car and the Malibu was repaired in three days. Best of all there was no charge! Definitely going back to Bob Johnson's!

Everyone at Bob Johnson were amazing and so polite! Our check engine light kept coming on and turning off. My brother in law is a mechanic and told us that it should still be covered under warranty. So we took it to Victor Chevrolet, this is where we bought the car, to have them fix it under warranty. They tried to tell us they didn't know what the problem was and tried to get us to do and pay for an oil system flush to see if that was the problem. Even though my brother in law told us exactly what the problem was. However it was covered under warranty so he didn't want us to have to pay for the work which is why we didn't have him do it. Well after Victor Chevrolet gave us the run around we decided to go to Bob Johnson. And thank goodness we did! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I came in told them the problem, told them what Victor Chevrolet tried to do. They checked it out and it was what my brother in law said it was! They fixed the problem all covered under warranty. While our car was there I also had them do an oil change. They were as fast as they could be with the holiday coming up! They were polite and courteous and told me about any costs up front before doing any work! We will definitely continue to come here for what my brother in law cannot do. They are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!

I dropped my car off and got a ride home on the shuttle. They did the NYS inspection and checked my air conditioning system for which I had a coupon. They also cleaned my windows at no charge! Thanks for the great service!!
My parents had bought a Sonic two week prior at Bob Johnson Chevrolet. Not only did they love the car but Andre there sales agent was absolutely amazing. I was in the market for a new car and my parents strongly encouraged me to go check out Bob Johnson and speak with Andre. They were right to do so. purchasing 2015 pathfinder and driver door has a scratch, they fix it and painted . but color doesnt matching after bring back to dealer they give me another cost.
The service department is the worst. I will never lease or buy another car from there again. When I called my sales rep, Brady, to see if there was any way I could make an appointment instead of waiting two hours to get my hole patched on a tire, which is covered under my extended warranty, he was incredibly rude and unhelpful.
