When buying a new watch they have problems distinguishing between gray and brown although one has been a customer for 18 years or better 3 X6 bought 1 I8 and 2 E36 he is threatened with a 20% contract resolution although there was still time to stop production. "After more than 10 years of customer, I have been to Mersch for the last time at BMW SCHMITZ."
A week ago, the X4 of my girlfriend was shut down because of an alleged problem with engine / filter whatever ... which is then repaired on goodwill .. The fact is that we brought the car only because of an electronics error message for review to the workshop The fact is that the garage SCHMITZ knew that our car was one of the problem cars but did not contact us earlier, because they assumed that we would have to come to the workshop.
So we had to leave our car there and got a replacement car.
This morning I should pick up the X4 again.
Everything so far as well as the employee gave the bill for the same revision, I told him I would take the bill and my girlfriend could transfer the amount ... From then on, it was a problem to take our car ... The very unfriendly and visibly annoyed staff banging on the bills always have to be paid immediately .. !! I told him I would like to give him a deposit and the remainder because it was a high amount was. That was impossible then the car stays here, etc ... he said ... and I said he should go to his superior ... He came back and still thought otherwise the car would not go out..and if I had any authorization at all picking up the car ... us w ... I also raised the tone and paid the amount ... I said to him that I needed in all the cars today, otherwise I would contact the police, because it is legal not e does not allow a customer's car to be withheld.
For over 10 years, I'm a customer but I've never experienced something like that, one is treated only as a number and not as a customer .... I said to the overzealous employee that he can erase everything from my register in the company computer because I will never put one more foot in this garage ....

Excellent garage, top service, never a maintenance...

Excellent garage, top service, never a maintenance failure. Still premium support for my car, bought here 10 years ago! (320D) Today immediate resolution of a trailer hitch problem. (Thank you Mr. Alexander Ross, a very professional intervention).
The breakdown was however announced for a day of downtime and an amount of 1000-1500 in repair costs.
An excellent level of service can only build confidence in the brand and the garage, and this will contribute to the decision to buy my next car.

So disappointed, I went there to check my car, they took some part out from the car and after that they said there is another problem and the need more 4 hours to make diagnostic. But any way you need to change this part( particle filter) because they took it out and it cost 4000
I decided to don't fix my car there, they said you need to pay more 2 hours to rebuild the part again inside the car, Just to take note , they obtain my approval before disassembling any part of the car.
In short: if you have money and you want to waste it just go there

Competence and customer service = NUL !!!
5x there 5x problems !!
E.g. : problems with thermine, friendliness, another customer getting his car as a rental car, scratched plastic parts etc ...
But they always have the right answer to give the customer wrong, the only point where they are strong!
As a customer you are always wrong (of course).
Complaint submitted but the boss stayed behind his people and unfortunately didn't understand anything! Yes, the director !! Inconceivably !!
Well, not my people, ouf .
Absolutely nothing to do with Premium.
Don't bother to give me an answer is superfluous.
My opinion is clear, BMW will be better for me in the future no matter where else than with you!

Good price on the occasions but customer service and the most deplorable professionalism that is for a garage BMW !!!!!!
I bought a BMW at their home about a year ago. I must admit that the price of the opportunities is very interesting and the quality service to deliver the vehicle but things go wrong when you have a problem on the vehicle ... Seeing the customer service and the lack of professionalism of this garage, I can only advise against it at all costs! Following a disaster, the garage makes me change 4 summer tires because they are deformed without knowing the reason ... after dealing with sales service opportunities, after-sales service and quality service, and after 4 months soon (the discussion is still in progress ...), they still have no answer so they blame the client ... Added to that they grossly ignore their customers by never reminding or not responding to the email during weeks! I advise you the same as friends advised me after buying a vehicle at home: buy an opportunity at home but do nothing repair, revise or other because you will be more than disappointed !!!!! As soon as they get money, they are the most friendly but once they are wrong there is no one to call ...

After being offered a non-premium service from Schmitz, we were really disappointed and upset!
However, I have to say that there are still some service consultants there who take their job and the customer seriously and do a really good job there!
At least I can say that about one person.

Unfortunately I had bad experiences at BMW Mersch. Everytime I wanted to make an appointment by phone or to report a problem for scheduling an appointment, they always said somebody will call me back to make the appointment which never happened. Everytime I have to go in person to make an appointment - which requires loss of time and energy for a basic simple thing.

I previously bought my wife's car from BMW Schmitz, recently I booked her car in for some technical issues which were fixed at no cost to me. I also booked my own car in for a noise from the brakes which could not be fixed, but they explained very clearly to me that it is a known issue from BMW and there is currently no known repair for it. I am satisfied with the solutions provided by Dominik and Paulo, and also their conscientious follow up on the progress of my cars. Even though I live 5 minutes away from another BMW dealership, I will continue to make the 30 minute drive to support BMW Schmitz :)

After I was succinctly fed off with another dealer by the well-known 2-LED turn signal problem with "New turn signal costs 265", the problem with a new turn signal unit was guaranteed by the nice saleswoman Mrs. Martins and the courtesy of the employees Fernandes and Ross solved immediately!
Conclusion: For the next service it would be 40 km more but only to Schmitz

Got a big service on December last year in this garage and I addressed the issue with AC for unpleasant smell in my car. After the service was done, they said microfilter and AC filter need to be changed and thus, there would be no problem again with unpleasant smell. One of the person who serve me that time even said if the issue come back, I can bring my car and they will disinfect the car. Few weeks after, my AC is smelly again and I brought my car to this garage for check. They charged me a lot 40 for only 15 mins check and staggering amount of 300 for ozone treatment in my car which is double the price for ozone treatment in other garage. It's really disappointing. No warranty of service. Problem is still there but always charging money for problem that isn't solved yet. Consider it's my last time to come to Garage Schmitz!

we sent an email, requesting for an appointment for car servicing and they called the very next day. Very responsive. there was no fuss in the whole process. very service orientated. we live 5 mins from another garage but BMW Schmitz service definitely outshine the other.

I bought my car there 5 years ago (not a BMW) a used golf 5 tdi 140 and I am very satisfied. 0 worries since, we were welcomed like kings with little coffee etc etc and the seller was really super nice you can go there with your eyes closed !!!

Worst service ever experienced! If you care for your car I suggest you to never take it to this car dealer.
I took mine for the very first check and when I went to pick it up, I was told everything is OK so I paid. As soon as I entered my car, a christmas tree of error messages popped up. After a while, they admitted they made two mistakes... one to have done an update which shouldn t have been done (now irreversible) and the other to have released the car to me in this condition. After promises and promises, they had the car for nearly 2 months with no improvement whatsoever! Suddenly the blame was pushed onto the car... I took my car out of there, with all the error messages and as a bonus, my indicators were now red (illegal in Luxemburg). Absolutely unprofessional and dishonest. I will definitely not recommend this dealer to anyone and went to buy a new car somewhere else.

I use the garage for over 10 years and can say the service improved significantly. Did recently a first service and some minor repairs for a leased car. They got directly in contact with the leasing company, no hassle whatsoever, car drop and pick up in no time, quality and fast service. Kudos to Alexander who ensured the service got better every time!

Extremely well organized after sales department. Small human errors are recognised and corrected.
I have to improve my French for the initial communication with the receptionist. Minor warranty issue fixed with no unpleasant surprises. Highly recommended BMW dealership!

I tried several times to ask for an appointment by email for at least a week and to several different addresses, among others Mr. Christmann. No answer.

UPDATE: So I get an answer by giving Mr. Christmann's address. So nobody really read my comment. As I was writing already, there is no answer. Or my mails do not arrive. In both cases at least their email system does not work.

NB. In Trier, emails work very well. (No, not Cloppenburg)

The company generally never replies to emails and getting someone in charge on the phone is an impossibility.
It's a shame and in Luxembourg you don't have the large selection of BMW garages and therefore work and customers can run after the company - a tragedy!

I can easily say this was my best experience at an auto dealer in the 30 years I have been in the market looking for cars. At first look it is impressive how large the dealership is and how many cars are available in the showroom. We would walk along and once we had finished with a big room we would discover another and another and another filled with new vehicles. We closed an appointment to test drive and price out an m340i. The paperwork in order to be able to test drive the car was quick and painless. We were given 1/2 hour to drive the car on our own. Upon a return we sat down with a very kind and knowledgeable salesman who built the car and priced it at our liking. No pressure no salesman pitches, and that's what I was impressed the most from. If you are in the market for a BMW this is definitely a place you have to visit!
